Eddie and his crew were prompt, fast, precise, and considerate of my home. Henry Harvey, the Project Manager, visited twice to check on the excellent progress the crew made throughout the day. He was very professional and observant.This one day project was an amazing flurry of activity resulting in beautiful and expertly laid floors.The next day, my stairs were carpeted by Nick and Frank; another seamless and beautiful masterpiece! Had to get new floors due to a water leak. Worked with Costen to pick the flooring that best matched our house. Costen was great to work with in picking the flooring and meeting our needs. Problems started after flooring was installed. Numerous times after the floors were installed, within a year, we reached out to our contracting company who pulled in Costen. We addressed cracking issues in the hardwood. More than 50 boards cracked/split. They repeatedly came out to check floors every 3 months to see if cupping reduced or went down. Only after the last time did they file a claim with the manufacture who denied the claim. Inside their report they claimed we did not let them know until after the 1 year mark. Also, they claimed the moisture levels in our house were too high. False claims by them to the manufacture that we didnt inform them until after one year. We informed them multiple times within the year after installation that it was an issue. Also, They never once checked the moisture levels in the house pre install so they installed the wood with the exact same moisture levels in our house that they are now claiming are too high. I would never buy hardwood from this company again. How can you claim the moisture levels are too high but never checked them prior to installation. They were willing to install them no problem with the levels they were at and then once the wood cracked they tell us its our problem? Why were we not informed of the moisture levels being too high before installation. So disappointed to now have "brand new" floors and have terrible cracking/splitting all over. This could have all been avoided if they werent so quick to install without checking the moisture levels up front. The moisture levels could have been addressed up front if they in fact were the issue. Do NOT do business with this company. You may have a fine install and fine product but when it comes down to it if you have a problem they'll leave you without fixing the issue!

Gary Hand was absolutely an amazing help! I knew exactly what I was looking for in runners and he was great about suggesting the type of serging I might want with a high end carpet. He was prompt in getting back to me with answers to the many questions I had! He is super personal and friendly as well which makes the process so much nicer! From start to finish it was a great experience having our flooring insby Costen. After being in our house for seven years, we decided on adding hardwood flooring on the master bedroom, to match the main living area. When we had the home built, Costen was the contractor the builder used. So we decided to visit their store. It was so easy, because for one, we had the name and brand of the flooring. Not knowing if the manufacturer still produced this same item. The salesman said he would check and they actually had the installation records from the time the house was built. The rest was easy. As soon as the flooring was received we scheduled the installation. The installers were fantastic. They moved our furniture for us and replaced it when they were finished. It was a great experience. Finished in less than a day. After the new year we're going to have our spare bedroom done as well.Costen stands alone as the best in flooring in the area.

I’m building an addition in Wyndham for a customer, a bigger and brand new beautiful kitchen. I use Costen Floors for all my flooring needs. They removed the existing flooring and installed new hardwood floors throughout the first floor. They look beautiful! A two day job that was completed ahead of schedule. From estimation to finish, punctuality, efficacy and professionalism was seen. Matt turner was great, answering question with great knowledge and quick response time throughout. Carpet was removed and hardwood floor put in in 1 day for entire floor.Team arrived on time.Carpet replaced on stairways was precise (done by another team) with same work ethics.Price is reasonable for the quality of work and products.Will definitely use again and recommend any day.

Just had Costen install wooden stair treads in a formerly carpeted stair well and laminate flooring in a bonus room for me. They are very good to work with. They will treat you right and they will do a great job at a good price. I love the work, they were fantastic to have in my home and I would recommend them and use them again. On my initial call I had some issues dealing with one employee. As a result I left a pretty poor review for Costen. That being said, the folks at Costen made it right. What I mean is that they saw my negative review, they contacted me, they gave me an estimate, they performed the work and I am very happy. I would recommend to give these folks a try. If you have a problem call them back and ask to speak to a manager. Let them know what you are looking for. I ended up working with Sally, she was fabulous. Give a call and ask for her.

After an unfortunate water leak, we were referred to Costen by the remediation company that we used. To be completely honest, we didn’t even look anywhere else after Matt Turner showed up at our house to do some measurements. We were after a very specific look rather than a product, and Matt really went out of his way to find us options so that we would be able to choose a favorite. He shared his knowledge and experience without trying to push us into buying something we didn’t want or need. Our project was not without a blunder or two, but Matt was incredibly responsive and had the issues taken care of right away. Ultimately, we ended up with the EXACT floor that we wanted thanks to Matt & the entire team at Costen and we couldn’t be happier! Highly recommended!***I was even able to order some LVT for a DIY bathroom floor install. Matt has taken great care of us with that project as well!

I am a real estate agent and always need a good flooring company. I had a full house job which included carpet and refinishing wood floors that were in disasterous condition. I came to Costen because of Matt Turner. I had worked with Matt before and knew the kind of work he did. He did not disappoint me. I was a big job with many challenges, but Matt was always available to work through the next challenge and come up with the best solutions. His professionalism is top notch. In the midst of this job, I had another job that included a full carpeting of a second floor. He took on that and both jobs were finished as I expected and even had him do a tile backsplash job for me. If you need a great floor person, go to Matt at Costen Floors!

terrible customer service. the first time they came out 20 minutes late on. Walked through the home said they would be in touch. They sent the estimate included in the estimate was a room i did not want done which i told her the bathroom was fine. they sent another estimate. agreed on the price. They came out to do the project got conflicting times when the project would be done. When I saw the finished product it was not a good job. Called them they said they would send out a manager to speak with me. He was over an hour late. ( I had to take off work to meet him out there). I asked why he was so late. His answer was that he did not know what time it was and lost track of time. I asked if the job was complete before we went in the house. He said it was. We walked in the house. I asked him would you be satisfied with this if you were paying 6000.00? His answer was no. When I asked why the floors were done like this he replied that he is just in charge of the stripping. They came out and added another coat on. Still not quality craftsmanship. But they said that was the best they could do. When I had another meeting with a real manager he told me he would discount it. When a week later and told them I wanted to pay. And the sales lady has never answered my calls. Finally she said she would have to talk to the manager to get the discount. 2 weeks go by I call her again. still no answer. I call the business itself and they told me she would have to take care of it and switched me to voice mail. She finally texted. not called but texted me back and they took 200 off a 6000 dollar job. This has held up the time we could put the house up on the market. So if you need a good job done do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

I wanted to replace the builder grade carpet on the stairs and in the upstairs hallway with hardwood to match what was on the first floor of my home. Jan was great to work with and took the time to make sure stains would match (since my original flooring was discontinued). Frank did an amazing install on my non-standard stairs and really took the time to make it look exceptional. Most of the stair tread boards had to be notched to fit properly. The attention to detail really made a big difference on the entry to my home! Would highly recommend using Costen for your flooring project.

Sales consultant Rick was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the hardwood flooring. We were trying to match existing and he knew which samples we should take to compare. He even came out to the house to help us finalize the selection and measure. The installers arrived on time and worked hard to finish the job in one day. The worst customer service experience ever. I called with a general request to get an estimate on floor damage. The employee immediately claimed Costen wasn't responsible for the damage and would not be paying. I repeated there must be a misunderstanding because as I stated I just wanted an estimate on damage. The employee seemed more interested in avoiding liability than my estimate. This was a huge red flag as a reputable company would stand by it's work.

Had stairs changed from carpet to wood and the carpet replaced in the 4 upstairs bedrooms. Both were competitively priced for high quality materials. Projects started on schedule and the carpet was finished ahead of schedule ( one day instead of two). Installers were courteous and professional and cleaned up nicely when they were done. Sally the sales person was very easy to work with and helpful. I will definitely be calling them to finish the rest of my floors.
