I brought my two 6 month old Calico kittens here. I adopted them from the Northumberland Animal Shelter, and they offered to spay them for free since I got them there, which is amazing!Very friendly staff and a really nice clinic.I'm very happy with the way they took care of my girls. I would definitely recommend, but unfortunately they are not accepting new clients at the moment as stated on their front door.

We live in Richmond (70 miles away) and take our pets to Heathsville for checkups, vaccines, pet meds. Prices are great, the staff and doc are kind and the operation always seems to run smoothly. They also have another office in Warsaw, about 30 minutes away.

Day following Christmas. 4-year old cat with open wound, abscess, at base of tail. Very painful. Clinic says they're not taking new clients. As other vets in the area are closed today, I will have to wait another day to contact another vet. This denial of service is not in keeping with "serving the community," as noted by this hospital in its website.

They are unfortunately not accepting new clients/patients at the time of writing. I have been using this clinic for nearly 20 year, and they have always been very nice and forthcoming people. They are at a new office, but understaffed and that will probably take a while to change before they accept new clients.The hours can be a little weird, but I believe that's because they still trade between working the Heathsville office and the Kilmarnock office.

If I could give them 6 stars I would! Both Dr Armstrong's are amazing veterinarians. I won't go anywhere else! They are very cost efficient and thorough. All of the staff are super nice. I have never felt so comfortable at a veterinary hospital. They are very gentle with my dogs. They address every concern not just some of them. You should definitely check them out for your veterinary needs.

My first experience at this office was to put my cat to sleep.Everyone was so amazing. The receptionists put me and my cat in a room to ourselves and even came back and filled my paperwork out in there. And i cannot say enough positive things about my vet.He was so compassionate and understanding.he was totally awesome! This office can't get enough praise from me...so thankful for all of them during this difficult time.

They are so caring. We recently had to put our 13 year old lab, Daisy Mae, to sleep. It was painful but they were very accommodating. She is now on our mantel watching over us!Thank you for getting quick results while keeping her comfortable at the same time. We had to put down our dog Cody recently. I asked if the Dr. Could come out to the car because Cody had gotten to the point of not being able to stand on his own. The staff and Dr. were more than understanding about the delicate situation of putting him down and were completely accommodating. He was gentle and compassionate during the whole procedure and we couldn’t have asked for more. The entire staff that I encountered were very friendly and caring and will continue to bring my other “furry” children here.

We were traveling through and had to take our cat to the vet. They work on a first come, first served basis which seems to work very efficiently. The Dr's, their assistants and office staff were very kind, professional and caring.

We have taken two of our dogs here over the past almost 8 years. We lived in DC now NYC and prefer, when back home in the NNK, to do their annual and dental cleanings with this great team. It is the only vet our nervous little rescue is perfectly fine visiting. Think that speaks volumes.

They have taken care of our animals for many years,cats,dogs and even our goats. We have presented them many challenges over the years and they've met each one with ease and with positive results every time. I don't know what we would have done and continue to do without them. They are very kind and compassionate because they understand how much your pet means to you and your family .They are top rate and professional in every way.Their rates are more than reasonable. (I've seen what our Daughters have to pay in the city where they live,it's outrageous) . Dr. Armstrong and the whole staff treat us like family. We are on a first name basis and have known the staff for years.You can trust your pet with them they will be in good hands.

Hartsville Animal was great. This was the first time there. I usually go to Warsaw Animal hospital but they were really busy. The Vet was very nice thorough and very soothing to a very scared dog. I would go again.

The staff friendly. They really care about your pet.The best thing is, if your cant afford the services they allow you to pay monthly. Most vets will not do that. Because of that. It allows people ro have pets. Becausevowning a pet is expensive. But what you get back from them is priceless. They .the Heathsville animal hosp. Allows me to do that. They helped us when we had nowhere else to turn in such a small, rural area. There were no emergency vets near us and they helped our beagle in an emergency and after normal vet hours. The entire staff was beyond kind and you can tell they care. Amazing place and amazing people.

Dr.Bill was friendly, personable, and listened to what your pet needs are. There is no rush so less stress . After all if your at the vet with your pet than there is a reason why your there. If the vet puts additional stress on you and your pet it Will show and will dictate if you will return with your pet.

Dr Clark was rude, uncaring, rolled her eyes at a questions I asked.Please if you go... I'd wait to see another caretaker.I love this place and others Vet's.Dr Clarke 100% disappointment.After all this rudeness she gave my small dog a shot meds went right thru skin got all over table. She had to repeat the injection..Hmmmmmm🤦🙈

Nice vet office. The vets' are very attentive to your pet's needs. Office personnel will let you go on credit with the medication for your pet. They're very caring for there patients.
