Fast visit trying to find some trimming for a door I installed. I had no luck and no employee around. I walked up and down the aisle for several minutes, and there was no luck getting someone to help. Maybe next time, if I come back to this location.

Extremely convenient and super close. Has everything you would need to maintain or expand your home. While everyone says it’s super clean and so well stocked, realize it literally just opened. However, a nice place to get what you need if you’re a local resident, no different than any other Home Depot.

The managers at the Haymarket, VA location are helpful and customer focused. They set a culture that enables their employees to share this same attitude. I have two closer stores but will travel to this one for all my HD purchases.

Horrible experience with a large wood floor order and installation. Took me 8 moths and lots of back and forth of communication. I can't believe this is a publicly traded company. Horrible. Do yourself a favor and find another company. You get what you paid for!! Never again

I placed an online order on a Friday morning about 6am for 9 items. Several hours later I received another email saying 2 of the 9 items had be cancelled, unavailable. A few minutes later, that same morning, I received an email that the remainder of my order was ready for pickup. Went to the store the next afternoon, Saturday. Only 2 of my 7 items had been picked. The associate said “I’m have trouble finding the rest of your order”. He disappeared. He came back 20 minutes later, looked at the computer. I asked, are you picking my order now? He said “yes, but I’m having trouble finding everything.” I said, just call me when you have my order ready.I called called customer service, when I left the store. I explained what just happened. They said “let me call the store …”.I said, just let me know when my order is ready. I checked my order status online the next night, Sunday. Order status says “ready for pickup”. I then received an automated text, on Monday morning, saying my “order is ready for pickup”. I called the store. Bill in customer service said “only 2 of your items have been picked”. Bill called me back later that morning, Monday. He said, “your order is ready for pickup”.I went in Tuesday morning. Picked up my order. When I got to my car I thought to myself, I better check the bag. Two items were missing. Back into the store I go. Four days after my order was supposedly “ready for pickup” and they still can’t get it right.

So bought GE refrigerator from Home Depot it work for 3 weeks and stop they sent GE repair man he then told these refrigerators are junk and freeze up constantly u need take hair dryer thaw it out so I’m like wow the repair guy says GE is horrible well that make me feel good so he replaces parts and still doesn’t work lost 500 in child medications 1000 in food and home depot could get 2 shots store manger just told ge does this to everyone and they do not recommend buying GE but wait yet home depot sells GE she was like yes they are horrible just want to run the warranty out so they don’t have to repair DO NOT BYE FROM homedepot they don’t care about customers at all just taking your money!!!!!!!!’nstill no refrigerator that works all I want is my money back

This store is always well-stocked with just what I need. It's part of my commute so I compare it often to its competitors. Always seem to have a personal feel and I enjoy that. More variety, too...why won't you send me discounts?

It's a nice hardware store it has many different things. The pricing is not bad. They sell many different brands milwaukee, rigid, crescent, channel lock, and klien. Many hardware store choices, lumber, plumbing, electrical, and many garden items.

Nice clean and new store however they seem to require customers to scan and package their purchases without either: hourly pay or any kind of discount. As far as I could tell this store doesn't have any provision for having cashiers at all. I didn't have a bad experience at self checkout, just that I had to utilize it was bad enough. In the future I'll take my business elsewhere.

i LOVE the NEW #HOMEDEPOT of Haymarket, Virginia!They had everything i needed to continue to build up onto my plans to decorate my back porch areas of my Warrenton, VA. home for #FathersDay 2022.Ouiyay! i bellow to the birds, the bees, and the butterflies ... i summon you to come pollinate and let us watch in delight, come rain or shine! Now i have the perfect plants/flowers, the wooded planters, the solar lights, and the outdoor umbrellas to start enjoying a pleasant summer escape, especially with all the crazy noise these expensive days are becoming. They really need to get it together here. Another customer and I were both purchasing plants in the garden center checkout. There are big promo signs posted, but the plants didn’t ring up according to the sign. After not being able to adjust the price due to lack of proper training, they told her the promo was expired. I had completely different plants but the same situation, at first the guy tried to figure out 100 ways to fix it then he goes back checks the sign and says the plants I got are behind the sign. It was for 12 pack annuals and they are the only 12 pack annuals on the table. Then when we go back again he says the offered was expired. There was literally no date on the promo sign when he pulled it and we read it. I agreed to pay full price I didn’t want to make their job difficult. Then I’m assuming a manager ( I didn’t see a name tag she has a shaved head with a small flap of blonde on top) comes from outside and yells at the girl behind the register to “just mark them 3 for 12.” The cashier tried to ask her a question and she just cuts her off and yells “JUST MARK THEM 3 for 12 OKAY!??” The poor cashier looked very embarrassed and seriously over her job. No wonder the kids working there are struggling, management sucks. We own a business in Haymarket but I think I’ll travel to Warrenton from now on. I have buyers guilt after spending money there after that experience.

I've never dealt with such a trashy homedepot. I won't even go into the trouble it took ordering the door and 2 screen doors. Main issue is the installer installed the 2 screen doors with scratches on the glass (identical spots). He never cleaned the doors off before leaving of the manufacturer's/shipping stickers. Homedepot wanted me to deal with warranty since they were installed. I finally got them to handle it since they were defective when installed. 6 panels later (all damaged in shipping or ordered wrong by homedepot) and almost a year later my glass/screen is still not 100% right. Store manager wanted to give me two new doors but did not want to install them (though they installed them originally). Last time I ever order from homedepot. Just go to Lowes!

The store is very well organized and clean, aisles are clear and employees are very pleasant and personable. Unlike other The Home Depot I went, employees ask you if you need help just for seeing you wondering around. Very good store overall

Always have loved home depot and this store is one of the nicest I've ever seen. The employees there are some of the best I've ever encountered. I'm always greeted kindly when I come in and they take the extra step to make sure that your experience is great. This last time I was in Daniel H took the time to review some free rewards with me that I've been missing out on, that didn't cost me ANYTHING. Great guys and gals at this location. Management team there is doing an excellent job with their store and staff. 100%!

Edit: 3 to 2 stars - customer service. I called this morning to ask about our installation window since no email or call was given to us the night before. I also asked if they would be installing the drain pan or if we should. They said the men coming to install would do it. That didn’t happen. They installed the washer at an angle on the drain pan which is on top of a tube. They didn’t cut the hole in the pan. So my washer is sitting wonky and putting pressure on the tub. My husband and I will have to shimmy the pan out to cut it and reinstall. Very upset.Bought an LG washer from here because they could deliver it and install it faster than Lowe’s. However - that wasn’t true. When purchasing, we told them we were 4 floors up in a condo. No where did they say we were required to purchase a new drain pan (we had one for old washer but apparently it wasn’t sufficient). We also told them 3 times the phone number for delivery. They called the wrong one. Upon delivery we had a major language barrier. Which is fine. Everyone was nice. But they poorly explained that my old drain pan “was broken” - it’s not. And they couldn’t install without a new one. Which I could’ve easily zipped out and purchased but they wouldn’t let us (I live 5 min from Home Depot). Said someone else would need to come back and install. Well when you buy a machine, You only have 48 Hr to return. Now our 48 hour window is up. And our washer still isn’t installed. They could’ve installed it and my husband and I do the drain pan later that evening. But due to a communication error - that didn’t happen. Very frustrated. The staff in the store could’ve told us this initially. The staff calling the wrong number could’ve told us - if they called the correct number. The staff noting that we had a delivery issue only noted it and didn’t help us with that 48hr window. Mind you everyone was nice. This just wasn’t the outcome I wanted. I wanted it to be right the first time. I want to wash my clothes. Waiting 4 more days before someone can come install.

0 stars for custom orders or anything more complex thank buying something off the shelf. Ordered an exterior door and transom in October 2022, paid in full (which is dumb but their policy and couldn’t do anything otherwise), was told delivery and install in January 2023. I understand supply chain issues but I had to call in February to ask what is going on. Was then told May. Now at the end of March I’m being told the way the order was written up, brands can’t be mixed and matched (I.e. Anderson and Masonite products can’t be installed together). Not sure why this wasn’t flagged early other than incompetence. Thanks for taking my money and doing nothing with it, hope you enjoyed the interest free loan because now it’s time to pay me back. HD should technically be held accountable for interest on this loan…I’ll be surprised if there aren’t any “issues” trying to process a refund…

Giving this Home Depot a 1 star.My experience was not great with the staff.Needed help finding something, asked one of the staff to help me look for it and it seemed like he did not want to be bothered, I then asked another staff member to help what I was looking for and kind of looked at me like I was wasting his time. Also What is with all self check out? seems like the only thing to be open in that store when you check out and you have like 6 or 7 other Employees standing around in the front, and you have to use the scan gun? I feel like I am doing their job. I then went to check out at the end of the store and there was a employer open at check out, but she acted like she did not want to be there working and When I said have a nice day or thank you she never said a word back to me.with my experience with the staff members makes me uncomfortable shopping here and not sure if I want to come back.

i think the gentleman's name was andres or adrian(he worked in the bolts/screws/ nuts department) but he was super helpful, helped me find my product size/type, and even covered .52 cents when he knew i was short on cash.These employees are the best kind of people cause they help people with their lives. i always give home depot my business and was so happy when i moved to Haymarket my business. they always help with my needs. I would have done a home depot survey off the receipt but there survey system is really outdated and super prone to errors makes regular customers not want to do surveys. will come again ty.

Last night 10\10, I got a great tool and the kind manager who’s name I can not recall was excellent at explaining how buying a new propane tank works.Today -5/10, no one could help me. Noah the “smart guy” must have been on his arc or probably was just to busy helping other people be doers and there aren’t enough Noah’s to go around and management does not have adequate staff to make this store a success.This place is great, but it is more bipolar in it’s consistency to deliver good customer service than the crazy Virginia weather this week.
