Waited in line for a while, then just at 6pm it was my turn, they ignored me for several more minutes then came back and said they were closed at 6pm and I couldn't get my prescription. at 6PM on a Saturday.I've had other times that took almost the entire day to fill. I've also had times where they said 1 hour wait then made me wait 2 hours longer.CVS and their customer service in general sucks, and this one in particular is the worst. Not a single person there that is competent at their job.

Pharmacy: Early in the morning. Four people waiting to be helped (3 elderly) with at least two people working behind counter. None of the customers are acknowledged at all for at least 10 minutes. When tech finally comes to counter with AirPod in, he mumbles his way to asking for name , etc 🙄 Like, cmon people, do better

I had a 7:00 appointment for a vaccine. I arrived 15 minutes early. After they finally acknowledged me they told me to sit down. One hour later no one has been by and they close in 15 minutes.

The pharmacy and pharmacy staff are rude. Unaccommodating. Basically negligent. They have no customer service skills. Literally the worst. Especially coming from somebody who works for a provider. Gross.

Terrible pharmacy, prescription are often not ready when notifications come through that they are. Sometimes the scripts just don't get filled at all. Horrible customer service. Corporate, you need to get this place in line.

Choose this pharmacy if you want 2 hour pharmacy visits while being sick.Terrible pharmacy. Medicine is never ready no matter how many hours you wait after doctor visit.After waiting 45 minutes in a very slow drive thru, they always tell you to come back in another 25 minutes. When you go back after 25 minutes, the medicine is still not ready.Oh ya... they're rude too

They have ample staff, but there's always a wait on phone and in person (10 min. minimum wait). RX's quantity's are often not right (Dr. says 90 days, they fill for 30 or 60). They schedule vaccine appts. for vaccines they don't have and don't call and let you know, despite having hours to notify you in advance of appt.). They often don't have the RX needed (repeatedly), and the wait for them to get it after ordering is 3-7 days (standard, mainstream medications). Auto texts generally prompt a phone call (like 'your RX isn't covered by your insurance'), and I have to call them to say 'I know this already' and advise them to fill anyway (but not before wtg. at least 10 min+).Idk what's going on here, but it's unlike any CVS I've ever used for Meds. Same thing today. A txt. saying RX not covered by insurance. I call - wait 10+ mins. on hold, then say 'I know, fill it anyway, please'. Immed. following that call, they send me another txt saying they have to ORDER the RX b'cuz they don't have it on hand and will notify me when ready. Same cycle, every.single.time. (insert face palm here).

I’ve lived in the area for 11 years and have used this CVS for all of those years. I have no idea where all these 1-star reviews are coming from. Seems suspicious to me. This CVS has never been anything but good to us.

Honestly, the pharmacy in Haymarket deserves zero stars. They are incompetent, difficult to deal with, slow, act as though you are an imposition instead of a customer. I’ve had them ignore the drive through, tell me multiple medications were on backorder, then filled an hour later, misread prescriptions - honestly, I don’t know if I can even trust them to fill my medications accurately. PLEASE, whoever is in charge, change your employees, management, training - whatever it takes. Regardless, we are taking our business elsewhere.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I got an appointment for a Covid vaccine and they told me that since my insurance didn’t cover it, i had to pay. I asked them 2 days ago and they said that it’s free. It even says free Covid vaccine outside.

Went to pick up a prescription at drive thru, they asked to scan my id. I gave them my id along with payment card. When handing back the cards and prescription I took it back and had to leave. When I got home noticed that they did not give me back my id, I called them back to ask them to look for it. They just said they don’t have it without even taking a minute to look. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal to just take someone’s license like that. CVS i need accountability before I pursue legal action.

The CVS Haymarket pharmacy and photo department are lacking to say the very least. Unfortunately this is the only option for a CVS in my area especially for photo services. The pharmacy has one cashier and is constantly backed up with orders and customers. The photo department constantly tells me my photos and specialty gifts are ready for pick up and when I arrive they are invariably not ready. It is inconvenient and frustrating.

This is the slowest pharmacy in the area. I just called at 5 pm regarding picking up a prescription that was sent over by my doctor at 8 am. She informed me they are severely understaffed and working on prescriptions from 6 days ago. She then very sarcastically said I should call corporate and ask them to send help. Hoping "corporate" sees this and not only "sends help" but provides remedial training in customer service.

This pharmacy is a mess. Several of th pharmacists are rude. They are working frantically at their station and do not seem to care about the patients…very very depersonalized. Also, my doctor mistakenly ordered an incomparable glucose monitor to the sensors she ordered and they didn’t catch the problem!! I ended up paying cash for both items and couldn’t use the $100 monitor!! The pharmacist blamed it on the doctor!!! Another time a topical nsaid was ordered by my doctor, which was not covered by my insurance and they told me to use a coupon. I did the research, found the coupon and they would not accept it…and made me feel embarrassed for attempting to use a coupon. The same pharmacist totally embarrass my friend who was undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer and lost most of her hair. She presented a coupon while buying minoxidil…obviously very fragile from chemo and the same pharmacist announced across the pharmacy that the coupon was not accepted. She did not have the decency to take her to the consultation area. Final straw was ordering my husbands blood thinner refill on the app and took the option to ship it. Not only did they not ship it, but they held the prescription and did not notify me. Not a phone call and not a text or an email. I waited a week before I realized it wasn’t coming. There is no excuse for them unilaterally holding a CRITICAL medication without informing me. This is flat out malpractice.

The service at this pharmacy gets worse every time I come. Workers are rude and prescriptions take forever to fill. Expect to wait at least 45 minutes in line both inside and at the drive thru.

I came through the drive through on 11/14/2022 assuming my prescriptions were ready since my doctor assured me first thing that morning they’d be ready by EOD since I’m leaving to go out of town the next morning. After the lady gave me 2 out of 3 prescriptions I told her there was one missing and I was told by my doctor who called and spoke to the pharmacist that morning and was told they would be filled today with no problem only to find out 5 minutes before they close it’s on back order. I asked why wasn’t I told this earlier in the day that way I can find another pharmacy who had it and she didn’t know. Another extremely rude red head with an attitude gets on the phone and tells me the same thing then tells me to have a nice day and hangs up the phone to laugh at me thinking I didn’t see her!!!!!That person is a complete joke to be in this damn field helping people and should be fired!!!I will be calling corporate management!!!!!!!!

3 years ago- This is one of the best CVS' in the area. The pharmacy staff is great.Now- the worst CVS ever. The turnover in the pharmacy is astonishing. They are rude and dismissive. I called about my RX and the lady was not helpful. I will never step foot in this place again. I will go to Loudoun Pharmacy.

Going to this CVS is like going to an amusement park. You have no idea how long the lines are or what you are going to get.I would say at least 1 out of 5 times when I refill my Rx online and go to pick it up, it 'never made it. Try again!' If I call, I am on hold for a bit and sometimes they answer and sometimes they pick up the line and hang up. I guess they are just clearing the lines so they can hang up on more people. Must be a pharmacy game or something. Again, like an amusement park. You never know what you are going to get.The problem I have is I take my fair share of meds. Changing Pharmacies is like changing banks. It a pain.

The worse!!! Made appt for Covid booster and I’ve been waiting for about an hour only 2 pts have been vaccinated in an HOUR. Really ? Only one nurse for the injections and every time he applied one he goes back to the pharmacy dept and take about half hour having only one shoot ready. Incredible!!! I don’t understand why you have to make the appts when you still have to wait over an hour for a shot. This CVS don’t get any better always short no enough employees and a manager??? Who know where it is. Employees don’t even care because they are exhausted already and don’t have any help from management. Same if you need to pick up your medications waiting and waiting and waiting …. Crazy!!! I will definitely change pharmacy

I’ve been using this pharmacy for years, beginning of this year they hired a new girl named Jasmine has been working there for the past few months. She’s rude, unprofessional and extremely insulting. I understand that everyone’s short staff, but we should still have some standards in hiring.

I think everyone there is super nice! The manager Susana is the sweetest person I ever met! ❤️I just started lerning how to couponing. So i get nervous when i check out. I guess im not used to paying less or even nothing. I feel like people are always going to stare or judge me but when i came on Saturday and the young Asian boy( sorry I didn't catch his name, but I think he's Korean) was very nice to me and super helpful, he was so kind. I did seft check out and the machine won't take my coupons. He said next time go to him and he will help me check out my items. Super nice kid. Well the self check out that I did forgot to add one of my CRT plus I wanted to do a return. I came back Sunday thinking it's not going to go well because a lot of people don't understand the cvs couponing system. But I was wrong, the manager Susana was so nice to me and very kind. I think she is the sweetest person. Last but not least Anwer the cashier was very patient with me and help me with my check out. I'm very grateful to meet such good people. Thankx guys sooooooo much!!!! You all are awesome!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My prescription for my son was called in at 3:30. Went to pick it up at 8:40 and stood at the counter being ignored for 10 min(not long) just rude…when I was finally helped it wasn’t ready and was told I’d need to wait a while. 8:50pm store closes at 9pm.

I have been using this pharmacy for years. But they now have a staffing shortage, turnover issues. Frank and Ann, the pharmacists, have been great and Tim is terrific at the drive-through, now closed off. Frank is gone and I haven't seen Tim. He might still be there. But you can't get them on the phone in reasonable time these days. The bottom line is that service has deteriorated significantly of late, a problem in several places. I really miss not getting someone on the phone in a timely manner, so a drive to the store is often necessary for questions to be addressed.

Horrible pharmacy. We tried for months, but after many prescriptions not filled on time we won't be back. Warning, they will confirm the filled prescription through text and online but when you arrive they may give three different reasons for not having it! I was also told to have a request sent to your doctor for a refill you need to come by and tell them in person even when submitting online.

This is a review for the pharmacy only. Drive up window during a pandemic closed due to lack of staffing is what I was told. Ridiculous! Average wait time on the phone when calling in is about 15-20 minutes (or longer). Constantly out of prescriptions and they must be ordered. They often forget to text or contact me when they finally arrive. Hire more people and beef up your stock.
