This was a cute old house turned into an ice cream shop. As you walk in, you smell the old wood then the cookie smell hits you. We enjoyed out cookies and cream ice cream and also tried vanilla bean and monster. It was all really good. It wasn't the best I've had but if you're in the area, you should certainly stop by.

This is a great ice cream shop and the perfect stop on the way back to DC from hiking around the Shenandoah. The staff is friendly and helpful with the enormous selection. There's a Pac-man arcade game, although at the time it was broken. The atmosphere is very cool with plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The shake I got tasted great! I really wish I could give them 5 stars, but unfortunately my last bite included a piece of plastic which I believe probably fell off the stirring machine.

If you ever find yourself in Haymarket, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The shop is in a home they moved from the town. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of seating inside or out. They serve a variety of Giffords ice cream. Giffords is an iconic ice cream shop in the DC area. Yes, you can really tell the difference. You can taste the quality with every bite! They do offer shakes and cookies among other things on their menu. The Mint Chocolate Chip is always good!

We've been coming here since we moved to Haymarket in 2020 and have always enjoyed it! We recently held our daughter's first birthday party in the front rooms and it was a great experience. The planning was easy Stephanie was lovely to work with. Highly recommend for a traditional, small town scoop shop experience!

What a great local spot! The shop itself is somewhat small but has plenty of seating outdoors (and some indoors). Their prices match the large portions they serve and they have an excellent ice cream and sweets list to select from posted on the wall. Kid friendly, dog friendly (outside seating), and right off the main street in town.

Cute little ice cream shop. Very friendly staff. Excellent portion sizes. I thought my ice cream was a bit too “gummy” and strangely enough almost too cold! Like, I couldn’t get the spoon into the ice cream bc it was too hard. I’ll give it another try to see if it was just a one-off bc the flavor was very good and the place was cute.

We went in because we wanted cookies. We asked if any nuts in the cookies? 5 minutes later, she comes back to say no one knows. Please tell your employees to know what allergens are present. So we ended up getting ice cream. My husband got an Italian ice (sour apple) and found a piece of plastic on it!! I don’t know why this place has such great reviews, the ice cream was just ok. Brusters up the road is so much better.

New management. Was our favorite. We gave it a few chances under the new team, but no thanks. Crazy, haven't been back in 1 year now. Sad.Took away flavors we liked and the drinks. Even the sugar cookies got changed. Don't fix what ant broke! Should have left it alone.

Service was great and so was the ice cream. I love that I can order an amazing chicken sandwich through Ghosted Concepts, which is my son's new favorite. While it was busy it was still a quiet relaxing place to sit and talk. Great place to take your family and enjoy the charm of Haymarket.

My husband and I stopped here for the first time today and ordered a two-scoop sundae. Halfway through eating it, we found a 3" hair in the sundae. I went to the counter and showed the person who served us the hair. It was clearly not mine nor my husband's. I did receive and apology, but no offer of compensation...my money back, another sundae, a gift certificate? We will not be returning to this establishment.

We have enjoyed Cookies & Cream for many years now. It is the perfect small town treat shop with a fun and cozy atmosphere. The owners are so great about hosting many community events and we even used their shop for our sons graduation party! My favorites are the lemon cookies, Thursday cinnamon rolls, and the Mrs. C drink. So many unique menu items! Many family memories here for sure. This is what Old Town Haymarket is all about.

I cannot say enough great things about this establishment and the owner, just really great ice cream, and great food from Ghosted Concepts. Today I went back for seconds of the s’mores ice cream because it’s 🔥, the owner seeing me in line again asked if everything was alright, and I told him I just needed another scoop and he was like I got you and went and grabbed me another scoop! Great guy, great service!

Our family loves the s'mores ice cream! Also, super convenient that you can order food from Ghosted Concepts too. Get a chicken sandwich and an ice cream! Yum!
