Well worth the day trip to visit the store and bring home a new fishing yak. The owners were very responsive on Facebook and ready to share their knowledge and passion for kayaks and fishing. The in-store experience was the same...ready to share info and never any sales pitch or pressure to buy. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this outfit. Highly recommended.

First off, Travis is THE MAN!!! Got me and my buddy hooked up on two Hoodoo Tempest 120P yaks for a great price! Doesn't mind going the extra mile for a customer and that is a rarity nowadays! Go check them out and get your new yak asap! I won't be doing business with anyone else for all my kayak and accessories needs! Great shop, lots of inventory and accessories!! Highly recommend before looking ANYWHERE else!!

I have been in the market for a Vibe kayak for a while, and they never seem to be in stock online. I originally planned on purchasing from a local store here in Hampton, but unfortunately it recently closed down. I found this store off a recommendation on a Vibe owners forum. I first called and spoke to Travis on the phone. I was immediately struck by his professionalism. I was happy to find out that they the kayak and the seat I wanted in stock. I asked if I needed to pay over the phone in order to hold a kayak and he assured me that they had plenty in stock. A week later I came into the store and met Chuck. He is awesome. I am a retail manager myself and I rarely get the type of service I try and provide. Chuck proved that rule wrong. From the moment I walked he was very accommodating. He helped me and my wife and we both ended up with brand new kayaks. They also have a great selection of accessories. This place is awesome. It’s worth the drive for sure. I can’t wait to hook into some Reds this summer from my new Vibe Cubera.

They know kayaks, they know "Their" kayaks, they know how to listen to the prospective buyer, and match them to what they need and want. Very happy with our Vibe Kayaks. Short review: Travis is awesome. He has great customer service and replies quickly to e-mail. He opened the store for me on a weekday so that I could pickup my kayak.Long story: I had a buddy that drove out to Oak Tree to buy a kayak. With what is going on right now, they are low supply and huge demand. My buddy was so impressed that I decided to give them a shot. I e-mailed Travis around midnight and he responded quickly. I dont think that everyone should expect this because the man has a family. However, that impressed me because I was trying to sell a Kayak and wanted to make sure I could secure a new one before I let go of an old one. His quick replies allowed me to do that. The store is only open on Saturdays. I was emailing late Saturday night. After a few back and forth e-mails, we worked out that he would meet me Monday afternoon, when his store is normally closed. It was a two and a half hour drive. To show my appreciation, I went ahead and bought 2 kayaks. One for me and one for my wife. The process was smooth. Travis assembled the chairs while I loaded the kayaks. He even sent an e-mail later in the evening to see if I made it home safely. You can't get much better than that. I'm very happy with him and the store. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks Travis.

I bought the Vibe Shearwater 125, coming from out of area to pick it up and Travis with Oak Tree Outfitters was more then willing to work with me on the meeting time. When I arrived, everything I needed was set up and ready to go. OakTree Outfitters has exceptional customer service and was willing and able to answer any questions that I had. 100% Recommend stopping to check them out if you need a kayak or anything related.

Bought a Vibe Sea Ghost 130 today from these guys, Chuck helped me set it up so it was ready for the water and told me what I needed to know, and also gave me some great safety tips that even as an experienced kayaker, I learned from. Price was as expected, and even though I went in knowing what I wanted, I looked around and saw they had a good selection of kayaks and accessories.
