One thing I hoped for was a better door to enter and exit..... other then that I love the remodel and employees. Always nice and helpful. I tried to do the survey on the receipt. I know how helpful they can be for management. However I have never taken one so long! It seemed to ask a bunch of irrelevant questions like my household size, income,etc..... I simply want corporate to know these people are working hard and it shows!

When I walked into the store there was no greeting. After I made my selection and proceeded to the register there was still no greeting, why because the cashier had his head phones in. After I said hello how are you he said he was fine. He then finished the transaction handed me my receipt and before I could gather my things he walked away without saying a word. Customer service is very important to me and this was by far the worst

This store has a little bit of everything at reasonable prices. I was shopping with a friend. Dollar General helps her get what she needs without going into a big store where she would spend more than her budget.

At the Hayes location in Gloucester Virginia I have experienced nothing but the best service from the managers Sierra and Kimmy the assistant manager and Bobby they are so sweet and kind I am elderly and I am handicapped and sometimes they're the best part of my day just want to thank down and Dollar General know what dedicated people they have that work for them they need to have their backs thank you for this opportunity I go there almost everyday and I have yet to be treated unkind or not helped nothing in fact I feel like I'm a mother going to see my kids I would be very proud if I was there boss I have done that kind of work before thank you Dollar General for the employees that you have at the Hayes location in Gloucester Point sincerely Tina Turner

Feeling a bit rushed.. had 25mins before closing, but I guess the employee felt the need to inform me of the minutes I had to get my stuff an get out... so I did!! Saved myself money 😀 but didn't make the store any moneyMaybe its become a corporate thing!! Oh well either way I got my laundry detergent, oxiclean and was OUT 😂

I'd rather drive to the Lacassine store than go a mile down the road to the Hayes store!!! Rude and discourteous employees- maybe they learning from the "manager"!? There is even a sign posted by someone saying boycott the store because of the "manager"!

I can always find some cute seasonal things here. And some good prices on household supplies, first aid and food items. Its always a good idea to check here for good deals.

Nicely organized unlike some others I've been to. Had sales posted on the stands which was very helpful. Staff is friendly and polite!

LOVE these stores. Go there first before going to Wal-Mart, etc. Usually have whatever you need, cheaper. The staff at this store are very pleasant.

The ladies there are always nice. But there always is stock items in the middle of the isles. They need more help in there. But the place always has what your looking for.

I normally love dollar general, but the cashier that waited on me today was probably the most rude, impatient person I have dealt with in a long time. I will continue to go to my regular Dollar General near me and skip this one from now on

We shop here weekly for the Saturday deals but the store is in what looks like a state of disrepair. several either missing or damaged ceiling tiles.

My favorite store...I am here weekly to get all the discounted name brands. I probably save least $5.00-10.00 each week buying here compared to getting same items at the grocery store.

My wife and I went in dollar General to shop and I had to use the restroom.I was told to go all the way across the highway to the service station.that doesn't make sense.I will never go back to dollar General again.poor rating
