Hartfield cares about the owners and the pets from in-person reception to communication to the conversations that happen before diagnoses, treatment, medication and follow-up. Doctors try their best to educate on the care of a pet, and to suggest, when possible, the most affordable routes by presenting quality alternatives in treatment and care. They do this with the utmost professionalism and compassion. A helpless animal needs someone trustworthy, and so does the owner.

The doctor and everyone in her office were absolutely amazing. They were able to deal with an emergency visit, an irate pet parent, AND our routine visit all so seamlessly and I still felt like we were important to them. I was seen in time and the doctor and technician were fantastic with my kitty. She got her shots and exam and they explained everything without me even having to ask. The doctor gave us good advice and guidance on how to handle my chonky girl’s weight issues in a multi cat household. At checkout time, the front desk staff were excellent in offering flea and tick prevention and being flexible in scheduling annual appointments for my other kitties. They have a great selection of food and treats, some cute goodies, and they take every major credit card. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Thanks y’all!

I had an urgent situation with my dog Luna. They got us in as soon as possible, and scheduled her procedure the very next day. They were patient and kind, and did not crowd her, cognizant of her fear and the pain she was experiencing. I highly recommend them.

Have been taking my 2 boxer babies Niki and Max, to Hartfield animal hospital for the past 6 years. Could not imagine taking them anywhere else. Dr’s Skinner and Thompson are so knowledgeable and explain everything so I can understand and make the best decisions for them. The staff always greets us with a smile , returns phone calls when they say they will and are so amazing with my fur babies. The office is always spotless and fresh. I had an emergency situation two days ago.l called Hartfield and they gave me an appt. Within an hour. When I arrived the Vet., Dr. Dallas, began examining my Beagle. She gave him a through exam. And also discovered a wound I was not aware of. She was through, asked a lot of questions and I was able to take my boy home feeling satisfied he had received excellent care. He has been on his medicines for two days and now has returned to his normal self. I have been a client of Hartfield for almost 25 years and they have always given my pets the best medical attention I could ever hope for. I just want to thank them publicly for their caring service to my pets. Great Vets, great staff. Thank you.

The staff is very professional and very sweet my pups. They have been able to get us in to see Dr Thompson very quickly when we are having an issue. Dr Thompson is so good with our dogs. Very patient with our dogs and their quirks. Has come up with some great homeopathic options to help support our old girl with a complicated breathing issue. With recently moving to the area we are grateful we found Hartfield Animal Hospital to care for our babies 💕

I've been taking my pets to Hartfield animal hospital for over 10 years and they are absolutely amazing. Absolutely amazing staff wonderful talented veterinarians and absolutely top-notch Veterinary Care. I would definitely recommend this office to absolutely anyone finished looking for a veterinarian. It doesn't matter what we've gone in for little minor things or absolutely life-threatening crisis they have always gone above and beyond to do their absolute best for all of our furry family members. Not to mention be excellent or poor and comfort that they show they're human clients as well. I can't say enough good things about them. I can't imagine how many times I've been and that office with all our creatures over the past decade and never have I had anything other than the absolute best quality care and fast service.

The doctors and staff are friendly, professional and compassionate. I’ve taken my dogs and cat to them for checkups, vaccinations, illnesses. The facility is clean and well organized. They are very responsive to email messages and return phone calls, most times responding in less than an hour (yesterday my email was answered almost immediately). Even though it’s a bit of a drive for me, I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

UPDATE...Dr. Thompson discovered that our dog may have some kidney issues. She has done everything feasible since finding the issue to keep up informed (follow up emails & phone calls) and she has explained our options thoroughly. We sincerely appreciate her concern for our pet.Just moved to area, this vet was highly recommended. Nice staff, the doctor seemed to do a thorough examination. No fluff, all business.
