What a beautiful and serene place. I loved strolling the grounds and seeing the animals. I like that they aren’t forced to interact with people and they seem super happy. Their gift shop is amazing and they have so many lavender products. Loved their golf and garden balm. They have live music and have recently built a stage. I’d highly recommend this as a must see when visiting the area. It’s perfect for visiting with friends, kids, families and even alone.

My family and I were here for the weekend from DC & while we were looking for attractions nearby we came across this place. We immediately wanted to check this out since they had small animal encounters where you can pet small animals. The animals were adorable and the place overall was just beautiful. You can walk around and see the bigger horses, rabbit and chickens. The place was so relaxing and peaceful. We stopped by the gift shops where they have so many products with lavender. We also stopped by the tasting room where we tried a lavender strawberry slushy. It was amazing. I can’t wait to come back into town and check this place out again.

Had such a great and relaxing time here! The lavender fields weren’t in bloom yet however there was so much to do with the tasting room and petting farm and gift shop! Loved the vanilla lavender ice cream and I’m upset I didn’t get any of the cilia lavender to go 😩😭. Please stop here when you are in the area. Thank you to all the lovely ladies that work here!

The staff are super friendly, there is a lot to do at the farm, and they have an extensive amount of great lavender products, but for the wine. Though I adore how they set up the tasting, I didn’t like any of the wine, sadly. My friend liked the beer though. I did not try it.

Our group of 8 came to the farm as part of my friend's bachelorette party weekend. We knew it was a great place when we were greeted by chickens in the parking lot! Despite the rainy weather, we had a blast enjoying the grounds and a wine tasting in the enclosed pavilion. The Chambourcin wine was one of the best that I've ever had, and the lavender infused ice cream was delicious! Can't wait to come back again to experience the farm in another season!!

A very cool place. If you love sweet wines as my wife does, don't go here. I hade the beer flight. I was impressed by 2 out of 4. That's about par as we all don't like everything. Very pretty environment with animals like donkeys and goats. Games for kids and plenty of seating in and outside.

Nice winery with friendly staff and family owned. Check out their event list as there is a nice stage for music events, fire pit tables, and their is even beer and ice cream they make. If you are visiting JMU or Harrisonburg this is super close. The garden is well maintained and lavender everywhere.

Very family friendly. Had things for kids to do.Very peaceful place.Wine flights were priced well. The advertised ice-cream cups, while helpful to keep the kids busy, were very tiny considering they were $3.50 each. They didn't taste much different then store bought ice-cream.All but one staff person kept the peaceful atmosphere.

We stopped by for a bit close to closing on a Sunday. What a great place. The gift shop was really cute with a variety of merchandise. We got some lavender ice cream and it was really good! Stopped into the tasting room for a flight of wines and a beer and enjoyed everything. Every person we met while there was so nice and we felt very welcome. Extra points for the horses!!We weren't there for long but it was such a nice experience.

Pretty neat place - hard to describe it because there's so much to see and do. There's the winery part, the wonderful store that is basically lavender-everything (never knew lavender pepper was a thing but now I wanna try it) and the farm side which let's you pet the horses and alpacas and sheep and goats! They're even a monarch butterfly migration stop. They also do weddings! If you are driving through as a tourist or are a local and want to have a full day out, look to go here.

Looks good, smells better, and they have drinks! Great place to hangout, try some wine and beer... several lavender products like soups, creams, etc. Ice-cream for days like today... animals around the property... whoever put this thing together did a fantastic job!

I just left and couldn't wait to leave a review. I loved this place! The grounds were stunning, the shops were quaint and has so many options of things to choose from. The smell was AMAZING. I spent way more money than I had intended, but it's worth it. The wine selection and sampling was great, and they had samples of other products, as well. They had some activities for children, and the parking was accessible for the people I was with who have walking issues. Great experience all around!

White Oak was such an amazing find! The farm was beautiful and everyone was so kind and Knowledgeable. We learned so much about the different kinds of lavender plants. They also offer some really good wines. You can't be anymore relaxed than being surrounded by lavender while enjoying a glass of wine!

They had a musician that played music from era 70’s. Enjoyed the animals and the sweet little shop. I did not partake in tastings but everyone seemed to be enjoy them.

Absolutely love this place!!! It's a great visit for all ages!! They have plenty of things to do !! Wine tasting, playing outdoor games, visiting the farm animals, going through the lavender maze and so much more!! They have the best wine slushes around!!! They were so sweet and not watered down. They make a great after work treat! The lavender is also incorporated with the wine which makes a very unique taste. Don't forget to visit the shop and grab lavender locally made products ranging from essential oils, lotions, heating pads, soaps and so much more. Don't forget to check the freezer for the lavender ice cream!! Yes you heard that right lavender ice cream. A perfect dessert to relax anyone. Or if you're not in the mood for ice cream try the lavender coffee or tea that's in the back of the store ( free samples. This place also ships bundles of lavender, lavender products and of course their wine !! So stop on by and support a small local business and enjoy!!!!

1st time was 4 yrs ago. 2nd time today - love all the lavender products! Free samples of coffee & chai tea along with the lavender simple syrup. The lavender ice cream is delish. The grounds were updated with a new tasting room for wine, beer, hard cider, etc. The discovery area is nice and relaxing to walk and look around. All the staff were friendly and very helpful!! We will definitely be back for more product and relaxation!

What a serendipitous last-minute decision to visit this surreal place. We had no idea what to expect other than what's on their brochures but can assure you, there's no words to explain how peaceful and tranquil the property is. Beautifully manicured gardens, tactful decor, and animals too! Don't forget to get a sampling of some culinary lavender, too!

Surprised by the beauty and serenity of this place. Well worth the trip and paying $5 to walk through their area behind the shop. Free range chickens, alpacas, horses, bunnies all reside and appear to be well kept and loved. The landscaping is breathtaking. I was ready to move in. There is a wine tasting area which we partook of and a shop that sells amazing lavender products. An excellent stopping point that I would highly recommend. You really need to experience this little gem because words do not do it justice.

Fantastic location for a fun family trip. Inexpensive to get to discovery area. We went out of season so we were unable to pick but they have lots of gift shop stuff to make up for it. Dried lavender, bath oil, buds for tea, chapstick, lavender wine slushees, even food products like lavender balsamic oil. So happy with our trip and would come back if I didn’t live five hours away! Come here just for the wine and gift shop if any thing lol

So beautiful, relaxing, and fun! The fields were beautiful, the wine and slushees were amazing, and the animals were adorable. It was a truly great experience to slow down and have fun for my boyfriend and I. The u-pick was fun and great for mindfulness and so was seeing the horses, goats, chickens, rams, bunnies, and alpacas. A lot swings, chairs, and places to rest and enjoy.

We absolutely loved visiting this farm and winery. We visited just the other day-early January and the farm was still beautiful and peaceful. The tasting room is great and offers a wide variety of options. If you like wine slushees-this is definitely a place to stop. Their slushes are amazing! All the staff was very friendly and sweet-especially Becca! Our daughter who is almost 3 came with us and loved the farm and all the outdoor games they had around. We will definitely go back again and highly recommend to others!

For a visual and sensory delight the White Oak Lavender Farm is a must do. The grounds are beautiful with lavender and other plants growing everywhere. After stopping in the gift shop for lavender ice cream and other treats, visit the Tasting Room and treat yourself to wine slushies. My personal favorite is the peach wine slushie, but they are all delish. We got smoked Gouda and Baked in Brooklyn rosemary flatbread crisps to compliment our wine, highly recommend. And they've got horses and llamas there too.

Quaint & cute farm ans winery. Great lavendar products too including lavender tea samples in their shop! For wine tasting they have an open heated covered area with beautiful purple chairs to sit in and large tables for you and lots of friends... 6 - 10 table seaters. The wines were good too. Oh, and they have wine slushies!!
