Everything was well stocked in many varieties. The bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking spots and easy to spot entrances. Customer service was very friendly and polite.

Why none of the women’s bathroom doors lock properly or adequately is beyond me. I normally don’t care enough to leave a review for a Walmart but this just seems like such a fixable error that was 100% obvious to whoever installed the lock, but they chose to overlook it and not fix it anyways.3/4 stalls were not able to lock adequately. If you’re wondering about the fourth stall, it was out of service/clogged.The only stall that locked at all was the handicap stall, which most able-bodied people avoid so as to not take away that stall from those who need it.

Sick of this place. No one speaks English, so don't ever expect any assistance while shopping. You have to check yourself out and be your own security so they can check your receipt smoothly. Don't forget, you have to be stared at by 2-3 "employees" while you scan your items. Every time I come here I feel like I am living in a 3rd world country. The last thing keeping me here was my dog likes a specific brand of food. We'll figure it out somewhere else, y'all can keep it.

Extremely poor customer service in the pharmacy and overall in the store. If you call, you can count on the phone not being picked up. If you go in, you'll get an earful of complaining from at least one employee about how awful the store is. I don't mind self-checkouts and I prefer to have my items undamaged when I get home. The last time I used a cashier, she had to inspect and judge every item I purchased. Forget finding fresh fruits and veggies stocked up or undamaged. If you need help, your on your own. This store is closer to my home, but it's a waste of time to go here. Burgess isn't the best, but it beats the Dayton Walmart hands down.

Refused to honor a $12.00 battery core charge at the Harrisonburg Va store because it l bought the auto battery online. Walmart gave me a run around and wasted my time then told me I can sell the core elsewhere.That’s fraud in my opinion .😡

I was there today doing my weekly shopping and when I was about to leave after paying with a cashier, the lady at the exit stopped me and for the receipt and check every item and told me that something didn't match. I told her, ok let's ask the cashier we went back to him with another Walmart employee right behind me and the cashier told her that everything was OK and still she asked him, are you sure? I talked to a supervisor, a lady that looked from India, and i told her if this is happening because I'm Latin?It was horrible, I felt completely discriminated for the first time in Harrisonburg.

I have back issues. I do not like your self cashier machine 's. I'm very upset about that. I'm not suppose to be lifting. I questioned this!! Why are workers standing up along the walls just talking? It looks like to me, if the cashier's are back up with lines of people waiting, they should be on registers to check out people instead leaning up against a wall watching others work. My opinion only!!!!

It's Walmart everybody knows Walmart. This store is typical of any other Walmart except for the fact that it might have a few different items here and there. If you catch it on certain days of the week you can find clothing items in other miscellaneous items on clearance right at the entrance doors for like a dollar. I've never had a bad experience here but I don't shop at this one regularly and that's probably why.

Bought a vacuum in store. Next day walmart app notifies me that vacuum is 50 cheaper. Called customer service and was told don't honor app. So how do I get my grocery pick up if you don't honor app?!! Not happy!!!

Store has gone to hell the past few months. Despite making it LOOK like they're busy inside by rearranging the entire store, the only thing they're really accomplishing by doing this is confusing customers and employees alike. None of the workers know where anything is. They'll have 20 people working in the mornings with no human cashiers, the automated checkout will be broken/glitched out/unusable and despite having workers everywhere: no one is actually competent enough to help.It took nearly 15 minutes for the couple in front of me the other day to check out because they had an error on their machine and zero reps to help them. The workers here literally CLOSED automated lanes even though the computers in them are on (unlike the other closed lanes where they're actually shut down). There was zero reasons for the lane to be closed down, because guess what? The computers on that side were working, there were no spills, no malfunctions, no clean-ups needed. Nada. How do I know they worked? Because myself and others had to open the lane up ourselves to check out because there were no employees to help. And what did they do once I checked out? Closed it down again for everyone else despite the other lane's computers not working at all.I know the store has been going through different management and having manager issues the past few months, but whoever was put in charge needs to re-prioritize because they're not doing a very good at their job so far. There's a difference between being productive and looking productive. Get yourself together, mate.

Did grocery pick up after work and a young gentleman comes out then next thing I know there is 2 other boys with him goofing off when got home to get my groceries out my chocolate milk was upside down on its lid leaked in the back of my car and my bread was under everything. This is very disappointing.

Significant renovation is ongoing at the Eye Center. There is good parking and amenity for wheelchair ♿️ users. The shopping experience is quite good with well-articulated labeling. It was good to see that they still offer wipes toward a germ/ virus-free shopping experience.

I found most of what I was looking for. The small container of chocolate ice cream tased lovely as I drove two and a half hours alone in my car. I replaced my phone which had a cracked screen for thirty dollars. In this store the phone setup wasn't quite clear, but I found what I was looking for. But the clothing item I wanted was nowhere to be found. Unless the style I wanted is out of style, I did not see anything even resembling what I wanted. So, I will have to try a Walmart near home. Workers were nice and the restroom in the back, because the front was closed, was passably clean.

The customer service there is one of the worst experiences. They never have enough people at the registers. You'll see the associate standing around on their cellphones. But they expect you to shop there and work for free by using the self checkout. Smh.Update.... as of 31/12/2023, this store is still lacking the customer service aspect, very, very poor customer service. I am not sure if Walmart still has the secret shoppers' reviews...

Awful customer service. "Assistant manager" (middle eastern lady) was extremely rude and needs a lot of training on how to treat customers. She was rude, nasty and her attitude was unnecessary. I can't believe she is working at customer service where it is obvious she shouldn't be.

Well I have already posted this but I guess I'll post it again, there was absolutely no ripe bananas in the store at all, and two other products that I could not find. So I changed my mind and went to food Lion where I could use my MVP card and find what I wanted, I spent $260 at food Lion but it was worth it.

Waited 30 minutes to have an item handed to me out of a locked case only to have the gentleman at the register try to charge me 30 dollars more than the advertised price. Wal Mart customer service has taken a nose dive in the past 5 years. This trip only reminded me why I hardly ever stop at a Wal Mart. Shop local as much as you can, small business appreciates your money much more then this mess.

The walmart on Burgess rd wouldn't help me in the electric department with my phone. Their was 3 guys that worked with the phone section only not with walmart but they just stood around taking to each other and said they didn't work for walmart so they wouldn't help me with my phone.

In my opinion, Supercenters earn 3 stars or less. Staff is usually rude since it seems that the majority of stocking occurs during business hours. Plus the employees who are working on the online orders makes getting thru the isles a real chore.
