Where doers come to waste their time.Purchased a wood splitter online for pickup at this location. Got a text saying my order was ready for pickup. Drove 45min out to pick it up. Stood around for an hour waiting for them to take care of other customers. After that they tell me it's sitting in a giant box and won't actually be ready to take home for another 5 daysI would suggest calling ahead to make sure your order is actually ready, but something tells me that whoever answers the phone would see the same "Ready for pickup" status I got and say that it's ready. Maybe just try Lowe's instead.Edit: A month later, to make this even worse, they still have not refunded me the ~$1700 for the wood splitter which I cancelled the order for. Had to call corporate and they told me I needed to go back to the store to have the refund processed through the register. An order that was originally placed online and now must be processed through the register in the store. The store that's 45min away that already wasted hours of my time earlier this month. And keep in mind they NEVER informed me about this. I checked my bank statements and noticed the money never came back in from the order and had to call corporate to see what went wrong.Go to Lowes or buy on Amazon or something. Check your statements and don't let them steal your money. This place sucks.

It's 2021, I brought a Roller AC Room to Room from Home Depot. A Friend picked it up for me.I must say I love it. It was Terribly Expensive but it's Holding up Well.My adventures in & out of Home Depot with Your Sales Reps. haven't been good ones but Your Products you Carry seem to Work Fine.

Closed registers 5 minutes before closing and went to do a return and they refused to accept the return equipment. If you are closing early change your time to 9:55pm. Very disappointed. Will not be working with Home Depot in the future.Harrisonburg location!

I hate this company with a passion. Every time I try to go and buy something, the employees are clueless and zero help. On top of that, the wood is always warped and out of shape. Don’t know how they stay in business when this is how every store operates.

I had a lot of trouble getting the gift card online and through calling home Depot when in and the customer service desk fix the problem and I was able to use my card and got a home Depot gift card

The worst customer service!! I ordered 1 window online for in store pickup. Online it stated 4 were in stock. At 9:30 pm I got a call from a private number stating sorry we don't have that in stock we canceled your order. They gave me no options for help. They didn't offer to order it for me, they didn't offer a similar product. I asked why I wasn't offered any additional help. They said "because we didn't have it, go online and order it". Really??? Thank you... I will NEVER use this store again.

The Home Depot is a hardware store that offers everything from construction materials to appliances to a decent garden center. Prices are usually slightly less than their competitors. Customer service is much better than many larger department stores. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to buy home appliances and all kinds of tools. I went there to get a white basecoat for the walls and tried to get a little bit of advice but I didn't find anyone to help. I ended up getting one by myself and ran away.

I only go here when I have to. Sometimes because I'm Already in the parking lot but I amost always regret it. They never have enough people working. Those who are working are never informed or knowledgeable enough to help. Because of the owner of Home Depot's choice to "Go Green" they strive to only carry environmentally safe products which is a problem when choosing some cleaning, stripping, plumbing, and such things. Don't care for the layout of the store at all but that could just be me. Honestly your better off going to Lowes. The one thing I do really like about home Depot is the lumber department. They will always mark down any warped or damaged boards like 70% off. They are a little harder to with but with the price of lumber and on small projects definitely worth it. You may not always find these boards in the size your looking for but for instance need 8ft 2×4. Find a 10 or 12ft damaged at the end cut it off good to go

Home Depot does it again. Shopped around for a fridge, but I only had 24 hours then back to busy work week. Got me a fridge at 1/3 the price and Ken Smith was SO NICE. He even noticed I got a free freezer and added that to my purchase! I didn’t notice it, but he wanted to make sure I was provided with the highest customer care possible. He gave me all the information I needed to know and made sure I had everything I needed to know to prepare for the delivery. I really appreciate the step beyond that Home Depot appliance department goes for their customers! Thank you!

I had a good experience here. They allow dogs to come if they’re on leash. I brought my dog and we walked around the less busy aisles to get her used to being in new environments. I also wanted to buy rope to craft some homemade dog toys. Staff were easily able to direct me to where it was. Self check out was smooth. I’d go here again.

I rented a tool that (I realized when I got home) was in an unusable state. I returned it and a manager told me I would get a full refund, but it would take a few days to go through. After several weeks of no refund, I called and a manager told me the problem was my fault and I would get no refund.The ONLY helpful person was one manager Devyn who was very pleasant to deal with and when I explained the situation to her in person gave me the refund.I have been a loyal customer for years, but that’s the last time I’ll patronize them. Hours of time wasted and unnecessary frustration. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to Ace hardware—they have a knowledgeable staff who ask you the second you walk by them how they can help you. Most of the HD employees don’t seem to know a single thing about their products and aren’t interested in helping you in any way.

Fairly good experience.. the appliance guy we had was ok. He had to call the supervisor over, he couldn't get the same price I found online. Took a little but we managed to get the bundle we wanted. Now we wait until February. Word of advice if you need appliances order ahead of possible.

The Home Depot is a fantastic place to go and most of the employees have a great manners and great customer service. If you go to Home Depot and don't find what you were looking for you are probably at the wrong place and in my opinion Home Depot is better than Lowe's because they had what I wanted that Lowe's did not have

Do not order appliances via delivery from the Home Depot. We bought a nice dishwasher and paid an installation fee. It was late the first time and they missed us so we had to wait another few weeks before getting the appliance. A third party contractor came to install it. When they left, the dishwasher was not working electrically and it was leaking. We have been working on it for two hours and are unable to tell if it is the product or installation that is the issue. We have been unsuccessful in getting help from the company, other than them telling us we could have it replaced and installed by the same contractor if we call within 48 hours. Now the water is shut off in our kitchen because we have a pool and no support.

I don't know if I ever had a positive experience at any Home Depot. Today, just like the few other times I have shopped there, nobody ever wants to help you. Employees just ignore you, never make eye contact or ask if you need help. If I wasn't paying with cash, self checkout is card only, I would have been able to not interact with any people. One positive, I used the app and it was very helpful directing me to the correct aisle.
