I was drawn into the shop because I saw a sign outside for their March flavor - mint chocolate chip. What a unique set of popcorn flavors they have! We were allowed to try whichever we wanted, and ended up getting the mint chocolate chip and the dark chocolate caramel. I honestly think that the prices are reasonable for the amount that you get.

It has just enough HEAT!MY favorite flavor is the afterburner because I love spicy foods. Luckily for my girlfriend it's not too spicy, so she can enjoy it also. At first we used to add in the white cheddar just in case it was too hot, but now we know that we don't have to.

Great popcorn and all kinds of flavors, sweet, salty, chocolate, caramel, cheddar, etc. They will let you try samples in the store if you ask! On the pricey side though, even if you have the refill tins.

We stumbled upon Shirley's popcorn a while back and have now always made it a point to go whenever we are in Harrisonburg. There are many flavors to choose from whether it be salty or sweet! There are also one or two new flavors each month.T he caramel and dark chocolate popcorns are always so good! Anything with the white chocolate drizzle tends to be a little too sweet, but good in moderation. I love that you can mix and match and pay for the more expensive item! The staff are always so friendly and kind. Originally we didn't sign up for the rewards, but we kept coming back so we decided to sign up. Good thing we did because we managed to use our $1 off coupon! I saw a small repacked bag of pina colada flavor and I was interested so my husband asked if it was for sale. The staff member let us know that it wasn't, but since we were rewards members, she gave the bag to us as a sample of next month's flavor.

This popcorn is the best! Im vacationing and I stumbled across this establishment while takinga walk after I left a breakfast spot. They offered samples which was helpful since they have quite a bit of choses. DeeliciousssssIt’s pretty pricey. Worth every $1

Was talking about Garrett's in Chicago on a whim this past weekend, drove into Harrisonburg for errands and found Shirley's - kismet! Bought the largest tin and have to say it's better than Garrett's! Tried spicy, cheese Cinnamon Bun first - latter two are perfect together! The sweet are like little pieces of candy...with fiber. The cheese is soft and buttery...amazing flavor and texture. Excellent service too!

I enjoy going into Shirley's and getting popcorn. I think it's worth every penny. You do get to try samples before you buy. The first time you go, buy one of the tins. It will cost you a little more but, you can get a better deal the next time you come in when you reuse your tin. The popcorn is half price or close to it when you bring in your Shirley's tin. Staff are always nice and helpful and the store is always clean. Definitely recommend.

Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn is prob one of the best places to buy popcorn! The staff at the stores have always been helpful and very polite. They also have a website where you can purchase and send popcorn gifts that works very smoothly and the popcorn makes wonderful gifts! Can't go wrong here and I would recommend it and will buy there always!

As always, I had kind and efficient service at the Harrisonburg Shirley's Popcorn. I decided on the Carmel Nut Cluster popcorn, and it is always a winner! My husband likes it, too!

Lots of options with a cool establishment.I will admit our visit was at a odd time (8:30-9pm on a Fri night), but staff did not seem to be very friendly. You could tell it was near closing and the employee was more interested in his evening plans than serving popcorn.Over all the food was amazing, but the service was lack luster at best.

This is a great joint that should be a staple for anyone visiting downtown. They offer many great flavors with their fresh popcorn. They have a sample size with a drink for three bucks.

Love getting popcorn here! Lots of variety, and a nifty reward program. It's also really cool that you can reuse your tin and get a discount! My only complaint is the popcorn occasionally tastes stale. Maybe I'm a little picky but I like a little more crunch.

Due to COVID they aren't offering samples .. we ended up with a bag of something that we were not big on (jelly bean) so that was unfortunate... but the employees are friendly and the other flavors we purchased were really good.

Stopped by at 1040am this morning on our way out of town. Door was locked. Two male employees looked at us, not once but twice as we tried to enter the store. No attempts to open it for us. Pretty bad customer service 😕 we will not be giving our business here.

Loved it, and the only negatives are the prices. $16 for a 20 ounces. But you get reusable tin, so that's cool.
