Absolutely gorgeous, both the buildings and the merchandise. The cafe inside is wonderful as well and has incredible coffee and smoothies! The burgers were fresh and the onion rings were crisp and delicious. The vendors are incredibly friendly and there is so much to see! There's also a small produce market outside of the main building. The location is around a number of other services and interesting locations as well and not far from town. Overall an excellent day well spent and the prices are quite good too!

We loved this place. It was similar to one we would go to in PA. The cafe was cute; friendly staff; good food! Too many options to choose from! The stores were filled with many goods and products. It's a great place for buying gifts.

Great little pit stop while out roaming. We had lunch at the little place in the entrance, great food. Wish it had been more dog friendly we would have stayed longer

We love visiting this place whenever we are close. There is a kitchen store that has about any kitchen gadget you might want. There is also a toy store, a fabric store, a country store, an antique store, a gift store and a military store where my husband almost always finds something that he wants. There is also a candy and snack store that has about any kind of candy that you would want. My favorite is the Country Canner. They have so many varieties of jams and jellies, including many varieties of sugar free. That is where I always stock up on sugar free jams and jellies while we are there.

Very fun place to visit. We only had about about 20 minutes to explore before it closed for the day. All my kids hope we will visit again to be able to do more shopping and browsing. Did not get a chance to try the food yet.

This place was so cool it had little stores inside of it owned by individual people. There was one that had military style clothing and other accessories. And two different stores that had pantry goods that were made by the Mennonite people there on site. We also enjoyed the mini craft and reclaimed furniture stores as well there was an old timey toy store. They have beautiful Koi fish in a pond at the front entrance.

The highlights in the large building at the market featured Grandma's Oantry with some fine cheeses and candies, & The Country Canner with an amazing assortment of jams and jellies. The second building features the fresh produce. Upon opening the front door the sweet aroma of fresh cantaloupes washed over us. Of course we took one home. If it tastes half as good as it smelled, we're in for a treat.

We buy our 50 pounds of flour here. It's a great price plus there's a lot of other interesting stores to wander around in as well. Great place to find gifts for everyone. Plus, who doesn't love a bridge over a giant koi pond?

Very neat, clean, and visually appealing indoor (and sometimes outdoor) shops. Food options, antiques, horse and tank, canned foods and much more. I recommend the Reuben Sandwich!

I very much enjoy going to the Shenandoah Heritage farmers market in Harrisonburg Virginia because they have multiple places to go and explore and Shop. They have a very nice toy store with hundreds of toys to choose from and a fabric shop with tons of fabric to choose from to make whatever you want. They have a store that has a lot of leather made things especially belts and saddles along with cowboy hats and boots and shirts and many other Cowboy things along with some Civil War things. I really do like looking through the antique shop at old things for sale and I do enjoy eating at the food court restaurant with food and pastries. They have a shop that includes hundreds of things for your everyday needs in a kitchen including utensils pots and pans and many many other things in a kitchen you'll find. And last but not least I love going to the store call Grandma's Pantry where there is a ton of different candies and chocolates including lots of different types of cheese and different drinks. I promise you will not leave unsatisfied even if you are diabetic because they even do have sugar free candy. They also have hundreds of pictures and are on the wall for sale that are very beautiful. When you enter or exit I guarantee you that you probably will buy some of a fresh kettle popcorn that smells and tastes fabulous!

This is my favorite market to go to whenever I visit. There is something for everyone here. I love to wander through the antique mall and the candy store is equally fun. Found some nice gifts in the kitchen store. Kids toy store had a nice mixture of toys that reminded me of my childhood.

I personally did not walk to half of the shops. I looked around after I got some food from the Hungry Farmer. I had a sweet tooth. I bought the jumbo red velvet cupcake and the Italian peanut butter cup gelato. The cupcake had a strong cream cheese flavor but the cupcake was too dry to me. I didn’t eat it all. Plenty of tables to sit down though. It was its own little section. They had regular food too, breakfast items, lunch items, etc. They had other flavors of cupcakes, cookies, pies, etc. There is a big antique store in here. I did not visit it but my friends loved it. They said they had a big selection of cast iron items and he loves cast iron. They spent half of their hour we were in the market into the antique store. This place had quite a bit of items but to me not as cool as the Dayton Market. They had antiques, furniture, candies, homemade and store-bought cheese, milk products, souvenirs, garden flags, greeting cards with other stuff like cat pillows, baby socks, word sayings on blocks, home décor, etc.I liked going into the Country Canner because I got to sample a lot of the jellys and jams they had on display. One of the jellys was a Lolli-pop flavor so I had to give that a try because it was very different and I liked it. Great prices. They had a bunch of places here but my favorite was Grandma’s Pantry. They had a bunch of food items and I am a foodie. They had several samples of items. They had towels, soups, spices, cheese, meat, chips, sauces,The market is pretty cool looking inside. It is big and open as well. They did also have a kettle corn shop right outside the main market entrance/walkway which was cool. I took some pictures of the pond where the fish were and there was a little waterfall which was cute.A ton of parking. You will never have any issues finding a parking spot. This place is easy to find as well. It is worth stopping into. I just prefer the Dayton Market over this one. I think the prices are much better at the Dayton market too for the items that I wanted to purchase.I did use the restrooms here and they were clean. Nothing fancy but they did the trick. Toilet paper, soap, and towels were stocked so that is what mattered to me.

This was my first visit to Monticello since the new visitor's center was opened. In short, despite loving the property I was underwhelmed by the "new and improved" management. It's my opinion that a $32 admission fee to allow me to enter the residence is excessive. A $25 ticket would've affirded me the "privilege" of walking around the grounds but excluded entry into the mansion itself. I got there after 12:00 and learned the guided tours in the mansion that were part of my admission fee were only in the morning. We were directed to self guide ourselves on only the first floor. We were not allowed on the upper floors. This "new and improved " policy stinks! Staff shortage was said to be an issue but the ticket prices certainly didn't reflect it. This is a rather long rant but despite my fondness for the property and mansion, the experience was very disappointing and over priced.

I love these little collectives of shops and this one is a favorite and we stop by every single time we are in the area. From the koi pond and kettle corn out front to the homemade treats, to the AMAZING collection of thousands of antiques from furniture to books to kitchen wares. There are bear traps, old textiles, antique knives, many, many serviceware sets from different eras; SO many more things than can be listed! There is also a homemade cannery there with apple butter, jams, jellies, and a store with fudge, candies, and SO many delicious treats! Your family will LOVE every second of being in this market!

Fantastic place to visit if your in the Harrisonburg, Va area. Great place to purchase handmade furniture, rugs, quilts, in house jellies, chutneys, and pickles. Huge selection of antiques and southern collectibles. Check out the restaurant for great southern dishes and homemade pies/ice cream. Huge candy shop and deli. This place has something for everyone. The thing that puts this on top of my list is the employees everyone is so friendly and so helpful.
