My review is only for grooming. We brought our dogs in to be groomed by Courtney and she went above and beyond to make sure my pups we looking great. She was patient and had very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Courtney. This was our first time there and we definitely will be back for services with Courtney.

My apologies to the grooming ladies in there as my dog Boi tends to be quite loud mouthy.. hes the rusty brindle pit / G.shepherd. and it be the shepherd in him that makes him believe he's a winning contestant at America's got talent for best singing voice! ty so much for putting up with his loud screams!!!

We just recently got a puppy. She's a miniature schnauzer took her to get groomed. Rachel was her groomer whose personality is wonderful. She was very good with Lady. She explained everything to us that would be done and how they took their time as not to stress Lady since it was her first time being groomed and they want her comfortable and not stressed. Rachel was excellent and we have already scheduled to take Lady back to Rachel. The other groomers working that day seemed nice as well.

I was looking for some cat food in my favorite brand and found just what I was looking for to try on my finicky boy. It was easy to find and he likes it. My checkout went very well. The clerk was friendly, efficient and polite.

Brooke and Courtney are absolutely amazing!! I’ve been taking my dog there for almost 5 years and would never trust anyone else to handle him other than them! They treat him like he is their own dog! He is always happy to see them and leaves looking good and happy!

The selection here is superb. I've only ever had two things that I was looking for not in stock and they were both pretty random things and I had them in no time. The staff is very knowledgeable when they are available. Sometimes they are very understaffed and it makes getting advice and checking out difficult at times. Overall great store with great employees.

Don’t recommend getting your dog groomed here. Courtney was my dogs groomer and she claimed my dog was too aggressive and she couldn’t completely finish grooming her. My dog has been groomed multiple times before and she has never gotten one bad complaint. My dog is not the aggressive type so I’m highly disappointed that my dog was viewed in that way. Not to mention, my dog wasn’t bathed, her nails weren’t cut, and her face wasn’t touched at all. But they still made me pay. Another worker mentioned to me that Courtney is afraid of bigger dogs so I definitely don’t recommend Courtney or PetCo in general. Highly disappointed.

Petco is NOT where the pets go. Tried to take in my sweet lab this morning for grooming. Once we had already made and came for the appointment they informed us they couldn’t take her due to a pain medication she is on. They were rude and snappy with me with informing me of this policy. I reviewed the website, and could not find where this information was accessible. They did not make policies accessible and were not friendly when telling me of this policy after I was already at the appointment.

please do not take your dog to get groomed here. i’m not one to complain at all but i definitely feel like i need to. i brought my 8 month old puppy in here for her 4th groom ever, she’s big for her age but is the sweetest dog ever. when i got there the groomer was very dismissive and unfriendly. she told me she was going to have to shave her completely and that she “was going to look weird”. i hesitantly agreed and dropped my puppy off. not even 20 minutes later i got a call saying i need to pick her up and they were unable to complete her groom. the groomer said that my dog got aggressive with her during the groom (which i find SO hard to believe, i’m not exaggerating when i say she is the most docile dog ever). the only scenario in which i can believe she got aggressive is if the groomer hurt her in some way. she haphazardly shaved her body, leaving random tufts of hair throughout, didn’t even touch her head or feet, and left her unbathed. my dog has been to several groomers as she has long hair, and has never ONCE been told she has bad/aggressive behavior. on top of that i still had to PAY for the terrible shaving job they did. the manager was very apologetic and offered to refund this. but i am just very upset about the way the situation was handled by the groomer. how many bad reviews need to be left before action is taken?

hello so i went to petco on 12/20/23 and was looking for a pac-man frog and shelby helped me, she was very well educated on reptiles and i was very pleased with how helpful she was and had an amazing time getting the supplies i needed. i didn’t get the actual frog that day and i only got the cage substrate watering dish etc that day because i wanted to get everything i needed before getting the frog. i then went back 12/21/23 and was helped by sam who was again very helpful and i’m so thankful for him, he helped me get my frog and got me a discount on a heat lamp and uv light like an absolute goat. overall the staff is amazing and i’m a very happy customer, thank you guys.

Lady up front was super rude and would not help us with getting crickets. There was no one in the back to help with the crickets. I have never had this issue before at this petco idk what her attitude issue was for.

I’ve taken my dog here for grooming 4 times and haven’t gotten a good vibe from Brooke, the main groomer at all, but decided to keep giving her chances. Today was my last straw. My appointment was for 8:15AM and I arrived at around 7:55. There was another woman waiting by the door as well with her dog. When it was 8AM, I said we could probably go inside since they’re open and she said “No we can’t they’re ALWAYS late.” Sure enough, the manager and Brooke showed up at around 8:10. They both walked in and didn’t acknowledge us at all or apologize for opening the store late and being disrespectful of our time; just complained about the traffic loudly. When we got in the grooming area, Brooke was very short with me. I asked if we could do a haircut, since they had a lot of appointments available online the night before when I made it. She just said “I have two dogs back there and I don’t have time to do a haircut. Do you want to rebook?” I said no and just do the bath and trim. They later texted me saying my dog was ready for pick up. In the past, I’ve picked him up 1-2 hours hours later since I work full time and have to wait till I’m out of meetings, but this time they called and left a voicemail saying they were “out of kennels” and to pick him up now. When I got back, Brooke again was very short with me and rude. In the past, she’s made snide comments about his nails being too long/his hair too matted and it just felt very nasty since I bring him in for grooming once a month. It’s a shame that she’s so disrespectful. She does a good job with grooming, but it’s not worth it to deal with her attitude. I will find a kinder and more respectful groomer.

Please note — do not EVER take your dog here to get groomed!! The associate who answered the phone was short and cold on the phone, but nonetheless I overlooked it since they were able to accommodate a last minute walk in bath. I walked in the grooming department and was not greeted or regarded at all. Instead I was handed a pen and told to sign. Again, tried to brush this off and left. 2 minutes after leaving my fiancé got a call that my dog needed to be picked up due to him being ‘aggressive’ when they tried to cut his nails. My dog has never been aggressive after PLENTY of grooming appointments. It’s honestly sad to see how lazy and poor mannered both groomers were. It’s no wonder they were able to accommodate a walk in, they probably get no business. Super disappointed with my entire experience here. Petco get new groomers, you’re better off :)

FYI- Return policy requires a receipt even though they have their cashiers ask if you want a receipt. 1) The inability to look up purchases from a credit card is inexcusable for a modern large scale retailer. 2) If your employees ask if you want a receipt, they should be clear one is required for return, given it is standard practice among large retailers to have the ability to look up purchases if the credit card is required.

I scheduled an appointment online for my chiweenie for a bath, nails, and glands. However, it wasted 40 minutes of my day since they refused to care for her because of a medical issue. I have no problem with that but let that be known before scheduling appointments. After seeing how one groomer responded when the dog she was working on started to urinate was startling to see/hear. I called our vet who referred me to groomer that got my furbaby in quickly and did an awesome job even though she was aware of the medical conditions.

We had a very good experience! My young son wanted a fish. We went to another pet store in the area and the beta fish were really rough looking (the last one we got from that store had the ick and died extremely fast). So we decided to try petco! They were very clean and the fish looked well taken care of. Our cashier was extremely friendly and checked over our fish as well. We will definitely be back!

Brian not a very nice person!!! He took my money and never book the training class for my puppy. We've waited 2 weeks for this class not to mention I had to take off work because it was the only class available. So I ask for my money back. They acted like it's my fault for not booking appointment and put on the refund receipt that my puppy was infested and contaminated. Dishonest and rude. I will be doing the best I can to pursue this false information on receipt.

cashier was negative. Everytime I come in to get worms for my little buddies the cashier is never positive. I do not know her name, she has half brown and half greenish hair. I now avoid getting my food here because of this issue.
