They have The BEST & Freshest Daily Baked Bagels in The Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Locations All around just Use Google Maps to Find Them. I Love The Restaurant on Virginia Avenue in Harrisonburg VA. Very KIND Staff there!My Favorite Bagel is The French Toast oh it's So Good toasted and lightly buttered. A nice little bagel restaurant. Emphasis on breakfast but also lunch bagels. Heated and cold sandwich bagels. This is the third local location of this pleasant little place. Quite a bit of seating in this location, a mix of tables and booths, but carry-out trade is also active.

Delicious and fresh. They offer cage free eggs, natural ingredients and a large variety of options. Most offers take under 5 minutes and are cooked to order. Service is always given with a smile and the restaurant is always very clean. Even the restrooms are clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast although their lunch menu is very good as well.

Superior bagels and coffee! We have breakfasted here at least once a week, sometimes more, for the past fifteen years! Amber always welcomes us by name and the kitchen starts preparing our order as we walk in the front door!

I love the Harmony Square Mr. J's bagel shop! Cashiers are always friendly, the service is reliable and quick! It's a real family atmosphere where they get to know their regulars and make it a comfortable place to come often.

Hands down one of my favorite places to grab food to go in the ‘burg. Even after moving away I still make a point to stop by when I am in town. The staff is always willing to modify a sandwich to make it unique!

Love, love this restaurant. They have the best pasta salad ever. The workers are fabulous and they are all super friendly. Samantha is the best! Couldn't ask for better customer service or food! I would highly recommend this restaurant and location to everyone.

I don't often get to visit Mr J's in person, but my family often orders by phone for a delicious breakfast pickup. We live nearby and they still have our orders ready and waiting. The staff are also very flexible for minor (or major) modifications as your taste desires. What a treat!

My wife and I visited this morning and had a wonderful experience with Greg. He gave us great suggestions and we left with fresh/delicious bagel sandwiches and drinks.We liked it so much we went back in the afternoon to pick up more bagels. The French toast bagel is a must have. Definitely a place to check out

Super nice people in front, but one of the worst experiences I’ve had as far as food from this chain. My cheesesteak was doused in pepper, skimpy on the steak, and weirdly chewy. The OTHER 9 dollar sandwich was so poorly filled that I thought they had simply given me an untoasted bagel, in reality what I received was well topped but that was mostly salt. These two 9 dollar sandwiches were an instant regret, 4/10 will not return

Some of the best bagels I have had! Great sandwiches- especially their roast beef. It is super rare and has fantastic flavor. Very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend their everything bagel with their veggie cream cheese. It is delicious!

Stopped at Mr. Js while visiting a friend. Selection of food is vast. The service was prompt. The location was spacious. I only have to give 4 stars simply because I found a fiber in my biscuits and gravy followed by what looked like a pet hair. I’m not too picky about this as I know it’s totally accidental. However it definitely soured the meal.

The best bagel place I have ever been to! I go everytime I'm in town, more than once. Their bagels are fresh! So many flavors to choose from. A simple toasted bagel with cream cheese is good or if you are really hungry a bagel sandwich is always a good option. The chicken Charlie is my favorite! Their home fries are amazing too. I always get a coffee. The hazelnut coffee is amazing. The bagel bites are a perfect little sweet snack. I also often pick up a bag of day old bagels for a discounted price. They last a while or I'll freeze a couple to save for later. ♥️

Their bagels are the best in town, hands down. Try their potato salad! This is a great place for breakfast with friends or a quick lunch. I often get a dozen bagels for weekends with friends, and though the bagels are made fresh (no preservatives like the ones you buy in stores), they keep well for several days.

Awesome fresh bagels a must to take home. Variety of sandwiches on the menu. I was at the Harmony Square location. Prompt service, nice and cleaninterior. Fresh hot cup of coffee and a bagel with cream cheese was a treat.

Grub hub cancelled the order because they didn’t have enough drivers but blamed the restaurant. The manager at the EMU location already confirmed my order prior to cancellation. I called the store back and they had made the order. I went to pick it up and the manager was gracious enough to give a discount for my troubles. Excellent customer service! Thank you Mr Js!
