Tam, in the pharmacy, is so exceedingly kind and helpful. The pharmacy speed of service is also great! Apparently vastly improved since other reviews from years ago. I was in and out in five minutes during lunch hour.

Kroger has a Nice Staff!! I Love their Deli - Best Fried chicken ever!! Rotterssie Chickens too and All the meats to Choose From are Wonderful. I love the Seafood Dept and Everything is Fresh. The Daily Specials are Great. Your Pharmacist Robert Retired and Attitudes have Developed in Your Pharmacy but I corrected the Problem. Everything Else is Great and I like your Specials 10 for$10.

OK variety. Store has been rearranged recently, so it's a bit easier to maneuver your way around. I stopped buying produce here --- the quality doesn't match the price or even half the price. The sales can be great. We always have an issue trying to redeem fuel points and lose about a dollar a month as a result. There's some super nice people who work there. The self checkouts can be a nightmare because of their size when you have a full order.

Do not like the newly arranged store. Nothing makes sense in how they rearranged it. They run out of grocery items quite often. Glad to see they replaced the small carts. Good place to buy meat and produce.

Excellent variety and decent prices, for my first time at Kroger I was very impressesd. We do not have one in my town and have always wanted to visit one. My wife was very happy with the hot sauce section.

After recently rearranging item location it took me a moment to find things, however a clean and well stocked store with friendly staff. Self checkouts work well also.

I just had to pick up a couple of things including their great Southern Style potato salad but unfortunately all they had was the small containers. This caused me to spend more than normal. Try the Kroger jalapeno mustard!

A grocery store with a nice natural foods section. I also like the store brand, especially the unique ice cream flavors they have. Unfortunately, this store has decided to go almost fully self-checkout. I had to wait ten minutes for someone to come help me. Overrated and overpriced. Horrible customer service.

Probably the worst kroger I have ever shopped at. Past due for renovations from the store to employees. Stopped in on thanksgiving. new to the area and happy I don't live in the city. Worker Danny was too busy making sure people didn't steal in self check out to assist customers at the customer service desk. I honestly don't understand why people shop at this particular grocery store. Place is dirty and dark. Worker Danny yelled at a customer to wait at customer service desk because he couldn't leave self check out. Isn't the entire point of self check out to let customers ring up their own groceries with no need of a cashier? the entire time Danny spent yelling and moving his head and hands in attitude he could of helped the customer and been back at self check out for surveillance. First and last visit due to first impression. Enter the store at your own risk.

The pharmacy is so extremely slow. I arrived at about 12:10 to get a prescription on my lunch break. One pharmacist was working. I left at 12:40 without my prescription, having moved forward maybe 3 spots in line.I returned that evening just before 5. It took me another 55 minutes to get my prescription and get out the door. The pharmacist shouldn't take all the blame (only some), because the store should better staff this area.This was probably my last time in that store for a while

Apparently 4:41pm on a Monday is NOT a good time to get a pound of shrimp! He exerted a lot more energy avoiding me than what he would have by steaming 6 lbs of shrimp.....all I wanted was 1

Came from up North. Tried their Friend Chicken, Baked Mac and Green Beans. Thought that it would be a regular supermarket platter from the store. Everything was tasty, seasoned. That was one of the best platters I ever had. 3 cheese baked macaroni was amazing.

Yesterday I was in the store with my 3 year old daughter, I was using self checkout ,the employee was helping another person and I call another one that was standing in front of checkout he tell me he can't help me ,then when the employee finish helping the other person he walk in another direction and I just raise my hand for help the employee yell at me and say I know that you need help but I need to put this (a cleaning supply that he actually carry when he help the other person )then I can help you .I feel so bad it was my daughter birthday and some person was screaming to me without any reason he just can tell me one minute please I was not desperate but that person was not nice maybe because an Hispanic I don't know

The Harrisonburg Kroger store has a nice selection of groceries and has great prices but the store itself is well overdue for a major remodel/do-over. I've been hoping for years they'd build a new store, in a different area, with a larger layout. If they built a super store east of town it would rival Martins and other stores near by that offer a much nicer atmosphere. Online pickup is easy, lots of organic options, great prices, but ai yi yi that worn out building in the oldest shopping center in town just doesn't appeal to me.
