If you’re going to listen to any of the reviews listen to the bad ones. I brought my 12 year old Cockerpoo here because her usual groomer is out of state. She’s usually wonderful with grooming and then here she got cut in each ear, on her legs and feet and somehow managed to cut her toe NAILS too short, enough to DRAW BLOOD. The owner said it was Mimi’s fault and that she was bad with grooming (she’s not ). We’ve brought her to many groomers before, even ones with less experience than this guy and she’s never been cut like this. Upon referencing the fact that this store has many reviews about cuts and scrapes he replied that HE DIDN’T CARE ABOUT THE BAD REVIEWS. This was carelessness, neglect, and a hack job. $96 too for the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen! This guy says he’s been doing this for 15 years, I’ve brought Mimi to people with 3 years of experience on gotten better care and service. Mimi was even used as a practice grooming dog for a family friend for YEARS. DO NOT COME

Rosie is a rescue from Afghanistan and has a difficult time with strangers. The groomer was patient and took time to make her feel comfortable. He cuts/trims her exactly as we ask and she look amazing.

I’ve been taking Mookie The Morkie to Mike and Hi Puppy for over a year. He is the absolute best! It is obvious he cares for each pet and treats them with love and respect! He’s always good but hit it out of the park today. I had an idea of a new style for Mookie and he made my vision a reality!

He did such an amazing job on my two out of three dogs! The third one he clipped her nails and expressed her glands but these two needed a full makeover 😅 he was so patient with both since one of them is young and the other is a cranky old boy. Definitely recommend and will be visiting more often!

Very disappointed. I’ve been going to HiPuppy for months now and haven’t had any issues but today I had an appointment and was told my dog was “too matted” and that I need to take care of my dog better, before a grooming appointment. If I wasn’t taking care of my dog he wouldn’t be at the groomers. I have had poodle mixes my whole life and I know was a mat is, if he is not capable of simply detangling hair (as a groomer should)- he could have said that. But instead my time was wasted and I felt as though he was implying I don’t care for my dog. This place has never been amazing, I suggest you continue to look for groomers!

I was refused service by PetSmart because my Husky doesn't like their cages. I get great service here and he tells me exactly what he's done and what is needed to keep my house less hair covered!

The man who runs the place is extremely caring and gentle. He treats them as his own. That’s enough for me to keep coming back. I’ve heard countless PetSmart and PetCo horror stories so I never wanted to go either one. It’s pricier to go here, but it’s beyond worth it. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

I've been going to Mike for probably around a year now, he always does such a great job with my poodle's haircuts and is so sweet and gentle with him as well! It is probably a bit pricier than your typical chain stores, but still fairly priced overall for the quality

I have been taking my Morkie to a chain store grooming salon and have never really like the result and felt like my dog was just another in a long line of dogs. Hi Puppy experience was different from reservation to pick up. I felt comfortable leaving my dog because there seemed to be genuine care and compassion for him. The service was great and fast! What normally takes 2-4 hours was done in 1.5 hours. I highly recommend Hi Puppy!

I am SO HAPPY with the services my dog received. He is a rescue and has a hard time with strangers, this wonderful groomer took the time to meet him the day before his grooming appointment so he could build some trust. My dog came out looking amazing and absolutely happy. I am definitely going to be using this place on a regular basis.

I had just found a dog with no chip or collar and she was in serious need of a grooming. Her nails were curling around her feet, her hair was matted and she was covered in fleas. They took her immediately and showed so much love and care for her that they were wonderful enough to tell me she needed to be taken care of better (they didn’t know I had found her only hours before). He was kind about it but worried about this sweet dog. That’s a hard thing to do to a client that has come to you. You risk offending them and then not returning. But it made me so happy that he cared enough to express his concerns. When I told him I had just found her he did all he could to set us up for the day with poop bags, picked her out a collar and sent us with a treat that would be easy enough on her stomach. I cannot express my gratitude enough for this man who showed so much care for a little pup who really needed some saving. 💕

I just had my corgi here for the first time and she came back in a better condition than any other grooming she's had. I have had a number of bad experiences places because corgi are often not trimmed or bathed/brushed in a way they need to be that handles their problem areas and undercoat. I was so ridiculously happy when I saw my Xena afterwards! I'm really glad to finally find a place I'm comfortable to bring Xena. Mike was so stellar too. There are some people you know are good with animals and love them, and he is definitely one. Can't sing praises on my first visit enough!

I’ve taken my golden doodle to Mike 3 times now. I am very impressed! Great haircut and service! Mike is very kind and knowledgeable.It only took 2.5 hrs for a summer cut and the works. Usually takes 5+hrs at chain store.

Mike fit me in last minute for a bath and nail trim for my Rottweiler. From the moment we walked in, he was attentive and welcoming. He greeted my boy with some rubs and a treat for good measure. Afterwards, he looked and smelled much better. Very pleased and we will be back. Thanks for taking good care of my boy 😊

I have taken my dog there twice for grooming now since I moved to Hburg. The gentleman there does a great job with her, cuts her just as requested, and discusses any questions I have. He does a wonderful job.Thanks HI PUPPY! from Emma & her Mom :)

brought ny 25weeks shihtzu mix on Nov 24th 2021 for the 1st time .1st of all he wanted to charge me full price for face trimming and bath we are talking about $62 which was fine with me i mean he seems to be very nice and kind and I trust he was gonna take good care of my pup on Nov 27th my pup start shaking his head like something was bothering him and I checked his ears he had pus on the right one and a very bad odor plus it hurts because he cried when I touched it I brought him to the vet today Nov 29th and and paid $112 for visit and treatment and vet told me if I shower him recently and I explained that I brought him to this place and she stated that he got a very bad ear infection on the right ear and the reason is because excess water get in the eardrum so I do not recommend this place.First charging more than a very known place as petsmart which I didn't bring him there because they were full and I don't know how they treat dogs there my pup is now scared out of nothingHigh price for a bad job no I don't think so I will never come back there

I have been taking my 2 pups to petsmart grooming. It's always a Hassel but thought that was normal. Went in and there system was down and I couldn't been seen.. IM SO GLAD THAT HAPPENED!! I went on Google and looked at similar places near me and HI puppy was actually right around the corner from my house.. I had called several places before I called hi puppy and they were booked or just rude and rushing me so I called hi puppy's. Mike was awesome. No Hassell was seen immediately. He did very with my 2 pit puppies who are hyper but he calmed them down without a problem. Got some dog toys at a great price and some treats that the dogs loved. Will def be going here from now on its 100 times more personable and better than petsmart

I’ve gone here a couple of times. My dog hates getting her nails done. He definitely takes them time to talk to the dog and calm her down to help with the anxiety. I’d recommend anyone to come here. I’ll definitely always come back here

I took my havapoo, she came back bold, she also came with ear infeccion i had to take her to the vet, she also looks frightening i dont know how she was treated but she was a happy puppy now she just stays on the corner of the house looking scared, Do not bring you puppys in this place

This is the second time we’ve made an appointment and both times he’s come back bald. We’ve specified and explained how we’ve wanted it and for it being expensive it’s definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend going there whatsoever.
