Wide variety of different foodstuffs from around the globe. FOODMAX has the best veggie selection in town. The selection of instant noodles is huge! The absolute best butchers, fish mongers, and meat selection in town! It's not crowded, and the air conditioning works. This place is AWESOME! The staff are always friendly and helpful.

We love this store. The selection is amazing. I bought an entire Asian carp last week. Where in the world do you see that? Best tortillas anywhere. The whole place smells weird but I have a feeling that has a lot to do with the selection

Worst place ever, mainly because of an Ethiopian girl who doesn’t have respect towards customers. She falsely accused someone of stealing while she was the one who did not pay attention on how the item was scanned. The customer was innocent.

Great selection of international food. Pay attention to the use by dates though. Good selection of fish which kind of permeates the store with the odor. Not bad one you get used to it. 5 out of 7 stars for a perfect score. We will return.

I went earlier today on April 29th and bought these yams from Food max International market in Harrisonburg, VA. Came back excited to cook it and this was what I ended up with. These 3 yams cost me $53.21 and I can’t believe they selling rotten foods in their store. It is ridiculous because their products are really expensive but to do this to people hard end money is uncalled for.

I can only say I've been nothing but impressed with the wide spectrum of choices. You might not be able to find pickled seal bladders. But pretty much anything else.... it's here. LOL

The place smells terrible once you walk in. Many of the products on the shelves are expired. The cashier offered me a lower price to buy expired cheese! Some cookies I bought expired last year!!!! Not to mention that everything is so overpriced!

Fantastic selection of Korean foods which is what I was looking for. Wish the selection had been a bit wider. No one beats their noodle or ramyeon collection lemme tell yeah! They had pork belly too. I'll be back again and again.

I have always really loved this place. From the great customer service to the fresh fish in the back. However there is a huge very important issue. The carts are destroyed and desperately need replaced. As well as no mobile carts for the handicapped community. Since these are such important things i am sad to have to give 3 stars.

Not a place to shop for lots of bargains, but the variety of foods available here is astounding. Fresh, frozen, canned, dried... Find some international recipes you've always wanted to try and bring your shopping list. You won't be disappointed.

I visited there twice a week just for fish, they have fresh fish and almost all the sea food products. Despite off they have all kind of international food, I like the place, but it could be cleaner if they care more about the housekeeping.

I gave four stars for the selection. Basically you are on your own navigating the isles. Selection of International foods would dazzle your eyes! Exotic produce selections and fresh seafood (on ice) if you desire to purchase. Prices are reasonable. Good selection of beer too. If you shop here hope you get to enjoy the hip tunes played throughout the store.😎

I love visiting international markets and searching for food and ingredients that come from places I want to visit. This go round was gyoza and steamed pork buns. An amazing selection of thinly sliced meats that are perfect for hot pot and a section perfect for any fish/seafood lover.

Great selection of international foods! I can usually find anything I need to make authentic dishes. The only down side is the funky smell which is understandable with all the fresh fish and produce they carry. I usually have to wait in line to checkout since they rarely have more than one or two lines open, but that's common everywhere these days.

Wonderful source for so..many..different...foods! Also reasonable prices on flour used in so many different cuisines, and everything you need international cuisine at home. Just right up the street and there are very few things I can't find there (sometimes only bc I'm not looking hard enough).

Great place for finding all Goya products. They even have Medalla beer from PR. Nice selection of fish, variety on rice brands, coffees, and sodas. Good produce section and fine service facilities.

Love this place! Associates are always helpful and each time I go I find a new favorite food. Not to mention it is close and they have fish and seafood. Eating makeral today. Don't forget to tip the deli associates when they clean your fish

This international food store has much to offer. Vegetables are fresh and there is a wide exotic variety. Sausages are expertly made and scrumptious. There isn't a better fish market in the area. Many countries are represented in this store.

For those of us who live where the variety of "not so normal" food items are not available, this is a great resource for that odd ingredient or meat. If you are from a big city then you will not be impressed but in a world of Wal-Mart, Target and the standard local grocery store, this store is a great resource. Having said that, it is not cheap or inexpensive. The prices have gone up noticeably over the past year, seems like more than the regular store. They have a wide variety of meats, [organs, feet, heads] and fish. The produce is also varied. A lot of variety in the Asian, Middle Easter, Hispanic and Island i both produce and grocery. Just expect to pay a bit more for the availability.

Aside from the awesome produce selection I love the overall variety in the store. Having worked in grocery stores before I put this one higher than many others!
