Great customer service, friendly & helpful employees. This is the 1 food lion I go to, but I can't give 5 stars because their produce (which we use A LOT of, due to having bunnies), is often lacking, or the produce itself like romaine lettuce looks wilted & nasty. This then forces us to have to go to another store to find good produce that's worth buying especially with the prices being so high bc of the horrible economy Joe Biden has created.

Inflated prices everywhere, rarely a good deal, almost never the cheapest in town. There is a larger selection of generic items for less at Kroger, and a larger selection for similar prices at Martin's. Produce is fine, store is clean, usually well staffed.

The grocery store of my youth...and hasn't really changed all that much. Nice to come here now and then for some different selections. Prices seem to be right in-line with any other grocery stores around.

This morning I stopped by to purchase a dozen eggs requested by my daughter who was preparing Thanksgiving dinner. The person in line saw I only had the eggs and offered to pay for them so I could move through without waiting. Unfortunately when the clerk handed the bag to me, it slipped through my fingers falling to the floor. The customer service clerk rushed to my defense offering to go get another box of eggs. What a surprise on Thanksgiving Day to be treated with such graciousness. Thanks to all involved for your care.

Lovely coconut popcicles! Food Dog is a great place to buy everything however the carts didn't have GPS so I got lost in the cereal aisle.

I love Food Lion products. Stores always clean, staff very helpful. Go out of their way for those with disabilities. Like most stores I shop the weekly ads and purchase most of those items buying a little extra if something I use a lot of. Thank you Food Lion❤

I come here often and Always have a Great experience. Staff are always ready to answer questions and help with a concern. Thanks for being a service to the community. I just don't necessarily recommend alot of their produce (veggies & fruits). You have to really look and its always test and trial.

Yesterday I shopped at food Lion in Harrisonburg. I needed help immediately and a young man named "Michael" assisted me and another shopper immediately and was very knowledgeable about his department.Theres was also a young lady in the dairy department, I did not get her name but she was the most pleasant young lady. Lastly the cashier was kind and did exactly what I asked I told the manager on my way out about my pleasant experience,she was also very nice,I always see her working every time I'm in there, food Lion give her a day off! Overall my experience was awesome,I walked out smiling.Thanks guys you all deserve a raise.

Some shows have gotten a little bit sparse, but that is endemic. As for the Personnel at Food Lion I can't think of any place with better people. Everyone is so helpful even when they're off duty. The store is always clean and areas around check out are neat.

We like grocery shopping at this Food Lion as we get great service. The shelves are well stocked and the whole store is clean.It is also a nice perk to have Subway, Mr J's Bagels & Deli, and Dairy Queen in the same shopping center. You can dine out before you shop.

I shop here often and really liked shopping here until I got home and found out that the frozen biscuits in a bag was all stuck together. It felt like they had thawed at due to a previous customer not wanting them so they waited to late to put them back. So i decided to take them back and ask them for another bag. The customer service rep. looked at me in a weird way and said with an attitude that she would go back and see if they had any that wasn't like the ones I purchased. She came back with the same bag and said all of them are like this and tried to hand me the bag back. I told her no and that i would go look for myself. I went to where the were and there was a full shelf of biscuits that was frozen together. She told me a straight faced lie. I didn't appreciate the poor customer service that was giving to me after spending my hard earned dollars. Don't think I would ever shop there again until I see improvement in staff.

Always out of everything! Everytime I come here wanting a particular food item, they are out of it. Always stocking during the busiest hours. Poor beer selection, poor food selection. Managed poorly. I'd rather shop at Kroger but its across town.

Shop is great but people are not wearing masks inside while signs are asking for it. Additionally, staff is not enforcing the rules which makes everyone around at risk. Sad to see this after 9months in a pandemic and countless of deaths linked to it. Please do better.

Terrible customer service. Employees chatting amongst themselves while checking out the customer as if we're invisible. Employees using harsh curse words in casual conversation with each other in the store. Nothing like f-bombs flying while you shop or as young kids shop with their parents. Respond with "not a problem" when I thank them instead of maybe a, "Thank YOU!" Glad I didn't cause a problem for you today, great. Hired children that act like it.

I was not impressed and it has been years since visiting Food Lion. I haven't been missing much.The positives are the people working there. They were friendly and easily recognizable.I couldn't find the first two items I was looking for so I left to go to another store.

Shopping is good. Customer service is not so good. Can't find anyone to help to answer questions/ to help hind things. Cashier will not look at you. They do jot tell you the total of your purchases or even that they have finished ringing up you purchase. I was very dissatisfied with the service.

Clean and organized inside. I've never had issues with items being out of stock. Never had to wait long in checkout, but I tend to go later in the evenings.

They are useing way to much chemicals to clean floors while people are shopping ..I go in this store get bad headache...I cleaned for Sysco Harrisonburg Virginia when you over use chemicals it absorbs in to raw , freash , dry foods it cross contaminating ... i also worked at other jobs around foods..Spraying or whats gos on floors to clean gos in air...mask don't Keep chemicals out ..masks dont work unless it seals on face like what you wear when spraying paint ..

failed to post remodel hours on website... kicked me out prior to posted closing hours when I came prior to posted hours to buy only 2 items, unprofessional is the kindest word I can use. Manager addressed me like I should have know what was going on...despite his obvious leadership failure. Hope the chain grows up and moves past this abysmal failure.
