This pharmacy is among the most poorly run. My recent harrowing experience came when I received 4 phone calls to pickup a prescription. After several attempts with no success, due to demanding wait times, was forced to leave empty handed. Finally, today was the day with a short line and all would be good. WRONG. Upon passing my DOB to the most disgruntled employee of the century was informed there was nothing for me and was abruptly dismissed. I asked Ms. Disgruntled how was I to know the difference between a call with a prescription and a call without a prescription? Her professional and caring response was "I don't know, the system does this all the time." Here's an idea, fix the problem that you are obviously aware of! So that my time, energy and gas aren't wasted in the future.

This is the most pathetic excuse for a functional pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The pharmacy staff will let the phone ring through several times and then after getting tired of hearing it ring they will pick it up and hang up. You can never get a hold of anyone and when you go and experience extremely long wait times in the drive thru or at the counter in store the excuse is always “we’re understaffed “ it’s been like this for years now and nothing has changed. They also do not call or send an alert anymore when your prescription is finally ready to be picked up and then always say they called the number on file (no they didn’t). Some of the pharmacy staff is very rude and unprofessional and talk with a condescending attitude. If I could give this zero stars I absolutely would and shut this establishment down myself to save the community their time, money and hassle. It’s fun and games when you don’t want to properly do your job because you’re lazy or understaffed but you are effecting peoples medications and their lives. Don’t let the reason someone perishes be on your conscience because you didn’t care enough to do your job. Don’t waste your time coming here folks.

My doctor called in a prescription for me on Thursday. I was told it would be available on Friday. I called on Friday and now they are saying It's on back order until at least Monday. I'm sick now, and need this medication now. This is not acceptable, will not use Rite Aid ever again! Unbelievable!

More like wrong at every turn. Street corner junkies provide more reliable service than this place. They repeatedly run out of medicine, they miscount the number of tablets (curiously never too many though, always short) most of the staff is wonderful and kind, but unfortunately these wonderful kind people work at a drunk monkey circus. Worsted pharmacy ever!!!!!!!! 🤮

Pharmacy manager was rude and condescending. Have had a lot of issues with this pharmacy and stuck with them because of convenience but with medication delays and the attitude switched my medications to Kroger. They take care of their patients. This pharmacy is annoyed with your business.

Nice store, but the Pharmacy is ridiculous!! I am surprised the reviews are as high as they are. As many others has said; I would give 0 if I could. Just now contacted my Doctor to transfer my "scrips" to another Pharmacy and will not go back, Good luck dealing with this location.

The pharmacy is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! They all have disgusting attitudes and acted as if they hated their jobs. The wait time is horrific and they claim they ordered my medication which was out of stock and then they said it on back ordered. They NEVER ordered the medication. This store should honestly not be allowed to have a pharmacy, which is disappointing because there are not many available pharmacies in the Fox Hill/ Grandview area to choose from. The pharmacy is constantly late on filling prescriptions. They never answer the phone no matter how much you call. The pharmacy staff is rude and seems to be in constant chaos even with a full staff. The physical store is also poorly maintained with many empty shelves. I miss Walgreens.

Mrs A is straight rude! She came close to pulling my card but I didn’t allow her! If you want respect give respect! She is short and cuts you off when you are speaking! Mrs A if you don’t know how to deal with the public, maybe dealing with the public isn’t for you! The outcome could have been ugly! People are picking up their prescription and often times are not feeling well. You are in a form of patient care. Please keep this in mind. Okay so there are 1440 min in a day Mrs. A you got 5 of mine! I claim the rest!

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and stayed with them up until this past week. They never answer the phones, the staff is extremely rude except for maybe two people, and they constantly don't give me my medication I've already been notified is ready and acts like I'm crazy. I had enough this past week when I had multiple prescriptions not get filled and it had been days past the due time and I was requesting the refills many days prior and then I tried to turn in a paper prescription and the girl just told me "no" in the rudest most condensing way. She told me to find a new pharmacy or another rite aid for it. So I did. Do not go here even if it is close to you. I'm choosing to drive further.

Is anyone reading these reviews? I'm not falling for the response everyone else has been given because it's clear nothing will be done until we get to corporate. Trust me the higher of the highest person will hear about how bad this location is. Your doing nothing because I guess you don't want the pharmacist to quit and you have no other options. So you better get this crew into shape because I will also file a compliant with the board that oversees pharmacies and when the board learns about your errors dispensing medication and how you store your medication incorrectly. There is no excuse for patients having to wait days to get their prescriptions filled. Shape up or ship them out. And to the person they so called apologizes for the experience and ask to call some number your job might be in jeopardy because you fail to see the issues and are not concerned enough to escalate the complaints to someone higher up. You see the one stars, you read the complaints people don't want a generic copy paste answer. The people demand that these problems be addressed and solved. I'm sure you have your medications and I'm sure there filled on time. Put yourself in our shoes and do what's right break the chain of command and go higher up the ladder so these problems can finally be solved.

Consistently on hold for 20 -40 minutes at a time, hung up on, medications are always out of stock or not ordered. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m changing to an online pharmacy delivery service to meet the needs of my child.

They should figure out how to give no stars or negative ones. This store is trash. Everyone of the pharmacy workers are rude and unprofessional. They never have prescriptions ready. They have zero customer service skills. They need their license pulled and need to be fired. Terrible!! Stay clear of this store if you can help it.

This Rite Aid has very piss poor customer service. Now don't get wrong, the people seem to be cool but the service really sucks. I filled 4 prescriptions at about 9:20 in the morning, after calling about 4 times with no answer. Then the person who answered, I know him to be a nice Indian gentleman. I put in my prescriptions and he said he would have them filled. Then I go there about 8 pm looking to grab my stuff and go, only to be told I needed to wait for 30 mins for it to be filled or come bk in the morning, which i will be at work. Then I get the prescriptions, get home and find that they are missing one of my prescriptions. So what do I do, call them bk only to go thru the same thing of no answer from the phone. I'm so pissed right now. Jus shut it down. Y'all really really suck at serving the community. 🤬😡

Store has fallen to mismanagement. Always our of of everything, management blames the warehouses but talk to honest employees and they will even tell you the management refuses to keep a proper stock. No reason to waste your time coming here they'll be out of whatever you need.

I called the pharmacy IN LINE and they never picked up the phone. They just walked by it. I did this to confirm my suspicions why they never answer the phone at all hours. This is the most despicable store pharmacy, and the techs' licenses should be revoked.

I've never been treated so awful. They messed up my prescription. Instead of fixing it, they had me stressedout while jumping through unnecessary hoops w/ the Dr. It was 100% their fault, not my Dr.s.Going w/o our medicine should never happen. They should listen & pick up the phone also.

My rite aid store recently closed and the willow oaks store is where my prescriptions were transferred to. This is the WORST pharmacy I have every had to deal with. The phone is either busy or no one answers. I went up there and waited in line to hear that they do not keep my prescription medicine in stock and had to be ordered. I was told it would be ready Wednesday ( today) I have not heard back. I have attempted to call there all day with no answer. I have exclusively used Rite Aid for over 10 years and this is absolutely unacceptable. I have been out of my medication for 4 days.

They should have closed this rite aid and left the one on pembroke at least the people were helpful and very nice and this one everyone except transfers are rude and NOBODY especially the pharmacy knows how to answer a phone my mother who needs her prescription not to go blind hasn't been able to get thru them for a refill and I've tried all day myself. Y'all need to do something because this store is the worst even worse than CVS

This is the worst Rite Aid that I have ever seen. My daughter was sick with double ear infection they called in a prescription after about four hours. I tried to call them with no response and then I went up there and they told me that prescription would be ready in 30 minutes, so I went back about two hours later to give them a little bit a more time and I still had to wait on my prescription. I don’t know if this all ride aids, but it seems to me that something needs to be done

this is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life. the pharmacist tried to tell me I gave him the wrong birthday when I have been a rite aid pharmacy customer since I was little (over 20 years ago!) and then told me I was wrong when I said he must have entered the wrong information. I had my dad call the pharmacy to fix the issue and the pharmacist ended up raising his voice to my father and telling him he couldn’t help us anymore. never coming back here, ever again.PS had to pick up another prescription here, and I got snapped at by the pharmacy tech for pressing the call button. What else am I supposed to do?!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I dropped a paper rx off and was told they had the medicine. Went to go pick it up, they said they had to contact the doctor for a refill. (When I used a paper rx). Then they found the paper copy, and I was told they did not have the medication. These people are negligent and don’t know what proper patient care is!

It has been 5 days since my doctor submitted a prescription for high blood pressure to the Willow Oaks store and I still haven't received a notice for pickup. When I called for status it took over 20 minutes before I was able to speak with anyone. I was told they are busy, with only two people on per shift and they were over 1,000 prescriptions behind, so they would notify me when it's ready.This has been going on now for several months, and I have had to continue to follow up on a few other prescriptions that they were unable to get and fill in a timely manner.I have been to many pharmacies in the last 40 years and this is the only pharmacy that does not seem to give their customers any priority. It is not like prescriptions are toys, makeup, soda or food: really, prescriptions are for medical purposes and some are life saving. I would think the management would do anything to correct this situation (i.e., hire more staff or Temps, have the current staff work overtime/after store hours to catch up)Eventhough, I live very close to this pharmacy, I think I'm going to have to start going elsewhere.SignedAn Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed customer!

Switching pharmacies. My son’s pediatrician has ALWAYS given paper scripts, and I would drop them off at this rite aid with no issue. Today I tried to do that and was told they weren’t taking paper scripts! For what reason?! So stupid especially when that’s what the doctor has always done.

I've been regularly using this pharmacy for the last year as I had issues at other pharmacies in the area being slow to fill the prescriptions and I had not had the problem at this location until yesterday.I had surgery yesterday before I left the hospital they called my prescription in about 12pm, around 4-4:30 pm myhusband went by to see if it was ready, they told him they were still working on it and it should be ready in about a hour.Well at 10:30 this morning I still hadn't heard anything so I decided to call, after about 15 minutes on hold I finally got through to someone and they told me they were still working on it and it should be ready 12pm. I finally got a text about 12:30 that my prescription was ready.We're talking about pain medication after a surgery. Not some prescription pills that won't run out for a few days! Pain medication after surgery!!I called riteaid's corporate number and filed a complaint, they asked if I wanted to be contacted by "upper management " to discuss my complaint and I told them sure. It was the pharmacists from the store. Same guy I've spoken to a dozen times in the store. He asked if I received my medication today or yesterday and as I was trying to explain to him that it was today and I full 24hrs after I was sent home from my surgery he cut me off to tell me that they are training a lot of new people. He did apologize but it didnt seemed insincere. I completely understand that everyone and everywhere is understaffed currently. I've worked and food service and retail myself so I understand how difficult that is, but we were told initially the meds should have been ready at 5pm yesterday because they were working on them at 4pm yesterday and yet they were still working on them at 10:30 am. Come on, I know for certain this pharmacy is open incredibly late compared to most, so what actually happened yall forget about it?

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m going to first say that this review is for the pharmacy ONLY. I’ve had no problems with the store clerks and management. The pharmacy, however, is the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. I just had a major abdominal surgery over a week ago and I still don’t have my medication filled. I’ve been having to use medicine that a nearby family member has. I’ve called numerous times only to get patched right back to the main menu EVERY SINGLE TIME, so I can’t reach anyone in the pharmacy by phone. My husband has physically gone in to the pharmacy (this was 4 days after my surgery) and they told him they still hadn’t filled the prescription and that they would call when it’s ready. Well, it’s been 4 days since that interaction and we still haven’t received any notification. This is insanity. Anyway, I would never in a million years recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
