The groomer was very nice, but did not follow my instructions. I provided a photo of how to cut my dogs hair and that didn't help. My dogs hair is very uneven, cut shorter than we discussed, and he still has a long hair around his lips that's getting into his mouth. I think August thought it was a good cut. There was an answer for every question that I had. This was the second time that my dogs has looked worst after being cut. Ariel re-did him a month later after some of his hair grew back. This time I did not reschedule, but l feel that I should be compensated. I'm afraid he will be chopped up again. The groomers have great personalities, but no skills.

Too much back and forth. When I ask a question, groomer doesn’t give direction answer, she talks in circles. For instance, I asked about the deluxe experience, after hearing the perks, I state I want it. Then she tells me it’s an additional $50. So I made a statement, she should have led with the price. I dropped my dog off at 2:45pm, I returned at 4:15pm to pick him up, groomer states my dog isn’t finished. I asked how much longer will it be, she replies 2-3 hours. I stated wow, that much longer, she repeats 2-3 hours. About 4:45pm groomer calls me to say he’s ready, I replied—I know you’re not calling me when I was just there. I will come and get my dog before you close. Groomer verified closing time was 7pm. Then I receive a text from Michela telling me to pick my dog up by 7pm or late fees will be added. My thoughts were Petco is trying to be funny. I got to the store to tell Michela to not text me anymore, I know what time to come pick up my dog. She proceeds to tell me to get my dog and don’t come back to the store again. Very unprofessional especially when I was following the directions of the groomer.

Scheduling was easy and fast. The very nice staff led my Husky back so kindly that he didn’t even look back. And the same nice staff person explained that I should hand her my chihuahua and when I did he licked her!! They were both gorgeous and smelled wonderful!!

My baby loves his groomer and I do too!!! She always does an amazing job!!!! Laya is absolutely amazing and he always smells so good. He always comes back showing all teeth and tongue hanging (smiling) 😂😂😂 He always looks so handsome too

Cara takes really good care of the dogs. One of my dogs doesn’t like getting her nails done. Cara is patient to calm her down so her nails can be trimmed—no known nick issues.

My groomer, Rebecca is wonderful! You can tell she really cares for animals and my Bella loves her. I feel at ease leaving my baby with her. The whole staff at the Hampton location is great!

This was by far the worst grooming job or should I say butcher job I ever witness.I made a huge mistake by paying in advance, before I saw the finish product.I know one place Luckie will never get groomed / butchered at again PETCO JEFFERSON AVE. Pets beware out of control clippers inside.!!!! I could have done better than this s....t I'm just saying.

My furbaby is two years old and still very much a puppy. Our groomer Laya does an awesome job grooming, calming that shedding hair and making furbaby use her manners. Laya does an outstanding job and is always pleasant. I appreciate her service.

Took my 15 pound mini poodle here a total of 2 times. The first time she went, she began vomiting about 30 minutes after she got home from the appointment, and she continued to vomit for 2 days. I called about it and was told it may have been the shampoo they used on her. The second time I took her, she acted like her neck was hurting her once she got home. She would twitch uncontrollably if you touched a spot on her neck. My guess is they kept the collar extremely tight on her while they groomed her and bruised her neck. It took a while for her to heal from that. Each time she went, I would ask how she did when I picked her up, and each time I asked, the groomers would say “she did great!” And I even have the doggy report cards they give out where they wrote that she was calm and well-behaved on them. I tried booking her a third appointment but was told that she was banned from Petco grooming because she didn’t behave in her first two appointments. I wish someone would have mentioned this to me instead of lying to me after her appointments and telling me she did great. I would have happily given her a sedative before her appointments if I had known she needed one. It’s very unprofessional in my opinion that a company would ban my dog from their grooming services without letting me know, and without ever telling me ahead of time that she was misbehaving at her appointments. On top of this, my family member’s dog started going to Petco around the same time as me. They have the same sized dog and were charged $40 less than me the first time they went, and around $15 less than me the second time they went. I’m not sure how that makes sense to the groomers.

Did a great job trimming and buffing my dog's nails. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is that my dog was smelling not-so-great less than 12 hours later, even though I got the extra conditioner add-on package, and he's still scratching himself like crazy, which normally happens when he needs a bath and stops right after he gets one.

From the receptionist, to the actual groomers, the ladies were all very pleasant and professional, as well as patient. I'd forgotten my puppy's paperwork, and they allowed me to make the 10 minute round trip, back home, to retrieve it, and maintain my appointment. This was my puppy's, and my first experience, He was very frightened, and I was very emotional about that. The young lady was empathetic, and knowledgeable about my puppy's breed. She handled him well, and when I returned a few hours later, he looked and smelled FANTASTIC, and I could tell he'd been treated with care!

Since this was my puppy's first grooming session, they were very professional and we're very careful with my puppy's care. She didn't allow them to give her a complete cut but will try again in 2 weeks. I just hope they will be able to do it then. I don't want to keep paying for these grooming sessions if they can't do the full cut.

Cassie is always so friendly and my dogs love her. It takes them a while to get adjusted to new people but they took to Cassie right away. When Cassie is unavailable we ask for Uriah or Ariel because they like them just the same.

The front desk and groomers were all courteous and respectful and before I even left my pet they were petting and playing with her. They told me everything they were going to do right down to putting her in the crate for a while. They asked about any health issues my pet had and since she is a senior dog they told me that they take extra time for those

Cassie is the best and only one we trust With our dog. She takes the time to greet her and love on her B4 going back in salon. Our dog gets so excited when we say let go see Cassie. Dogs know who cares.

Ariel takes great care of Lucy. Lucy looked good and felt good when we left Petco. This dog has never been so clean and smelled good too! Ariel has been taking care of Lucy since she was born! We just love Petco and Ariel too!

Everyone was so nice and professional. Treated Layla so sweetly and accommodated her prescribed shampoo and even looked it up to see if it was okay to use a conditioner after the shampoo. It wasnt so the groomer told me it probably wouldnt be best for her which I appreciated. Also the groomer didnt want to irritate her skin after so she only sprayed her bandana at the end which was so considerate. Overall fantastic experience.
