My boyfriend and I came here about 2-3 times while in Virginia on vacation and we had pretty pleasant experiences all 2-3 times we’ve been there. The store was always nice and clean and has a great selection of food and other products too. Will be back!

Does this store really has only 1 public toilet or are there other public toilet. Used the bathroom located near the pharmacy, and there was no toilet paper, and not clean. Just horrible. As for the shopping experience, middle of the road. Find myself having to check the expiration date on food, especially the bread yesterday. Bread with expired dates were still on the shelves.

Haven't been to this store for awhile. It's usually a pleasant visit at the Hampton, VA location; the store associates are pleasant and helpful. Today, I was looking at the bakery goods. A lady from the bakery dept asked if I needed help. It's refreshing when people ask if you need help and engage in a conversation instead of being glued to their phones or ignoring you. Keep up the great customer care/service. It makes a huge difference!

I had scheduled a second interview with the store manager at this Kroger, and I arrived on time, ready and excited for the opportunity. However, I ended up waiting for over an hour as the manager failed to show up. This was extremely disappointing and a complete waste of my time.To make matters worse, during the first interview, I felt that the manager showed favoritism towards another candidate who was also present. It seemed like he was more interested in their conversation and completely ignored my questions and concerns as a candidate. This experience left me feeling put off and uncertain about the fairness of the selection process.I have actually worked with this store manager before at Farm Fresh, and I had a negative experience due to his micromanaging and dismissive attitude. Despite that, I decided to give it another chance, but it was clearly a mistake.I believe that open and respectful communication is crucial in any hiring process, and the way I was treated during these interviews was highly unprofessional. I value my time and expect the same level of respect from potential employers.Based on these experiences, I have decided to withdraw my application. It is important to me to find a work environment that values and respects its employees.I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the store manager and helps them improve their hiring process and treatment of candidates.

We drove 30 minutes out of the way to this location but some of the staff decided to close 15-20 minutes early. We were told by them to try tomorrow. We called afterwards and was told that shouldn't have been the case and to come back. We were going to but with the doors locked we just decided to go home. On most days this is a 5 star Kroger but not tonight unfortunately.

I would only come to this store for the fresh salmon, as everywhere else around here only has trash pre-packaged salmon. It is good, and the selection of products here is vast, however if you value customer service do not go here. Every time I've needed to visit the customer service desk for one thing or another, like a question or cashing in lottery, it has been a terrible experience. The line for it is always long. There are 3 registers to help but only one is ever utilized, and the one person helping people always has a scowl and is slow as hell. I went yesterday and with only one person ahead of me in line I thought it would be fast. I stood there for legitimately 15 minutes only needing help with a stuck lottery ticket. There was a second person behind the counter, but she completely ignored the couple of people in line. No eye contact, no "i'll help you in just a minute", just filling out paperwork instead of hopping on to help the couple people in line so they can stop waiting for so long. Another person came back then, talking to this person who was ignoring us and the conversation revealed she was almost done with the paperwork. He said to her "oh, I don't need that yet." So good to see they have priorities straight. She shortly thereafter walked out from behind the customer service station and just left. Leaving me and another still standing there waiting for 10 minutes at that point. Absolutely amazing. No sense of teamwork or urgency or care.So if you want a great selection of fresh seafood and cheeses, go here. But don't go here if you value customer service and your time, because they certainly don't.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT order anything from their bakery. They WILL cancel your order on the day you are supposed to pick it up. Not the day before...on THEEE day you are supposed to pick it up. They have done this multiple times to me an others. Don't believe me ? Scroll down and read the other reviews about canceled orders. Their management is unorganized and unprofessional above all. For some reason they just cannot get it together when it comes to this. They have ruined not 1 but 2 birthdays for my son over the span of 3 years. Thats along time to still not have it together. Get yourself together Kroger! Fire the Bakery Manager !

The store seems great (my wife's the expert) - but the dining area where I eat sushi, serves as the custodian's closet. It could be more inviting. Not a priority.

They have a good selection but no customer service. We came on a busy Saturday morning and they only had 2 cashiers working. Wait was over 20 minutes! This was a first and last time coming here.

Went to this Krogers for the first time today and honestly I was not very impressed with the seafood selection. I felt like this area was also a little understaffed. I did appreciate the produce section. I usually purchase my fruits at the local Foodlion but today I purchased grapes and apples here. Produce looked fresh and the staff in that department was very friendly. Check out was quick and simple and they even accepted my online coupons! Definitely recommend

I was in this store last Thursday night. 4 employees were talking and having a good time while ALL of us were forced to use the self checkout. Not one single cashier was open. Ridiculous! I won't go back

This store is literally the worst store to have anything delivered from. They will lie to you on the website and tell you that there is a specific time frame it will be delivered, along with providing a confirmation. They will take your money, but yet you will never get the items delivered. They will keep pushing the time frame back, even until the next day. They don't care, you're nothing to them. You can call them and complain, but it gets you nowhere as their customer service skills are horrendous. Save yourself from having to argue with a company that does not care about you as a customer. I strongly suggest you order from Walmart or Publix. At least then you can guarantee you will receive your products.

I went to Kroger today before 6 pm and they stopped selling chicken. I just don’t understand why that part of the store closes early. For a person like me who doesn’t get off work until 5 I shouldn’t be subjected to this kind of treatment. To make matters worse I asked the lady if there was any leftover chicken and she stated no, but I saw some containers in the warmer behind her in the kitchen. I don’t know if she was saving it for herself or what. I would really like the company to change the hours of that department especially on the weekends. If it’s a staffing issue then hire more people and pay them better so you can stay open later at least until 7pm.

Do not use grocery pick up at this Kroger. It has been getting worse with excessive wait times, last evening in had to wait for an hour to receive my order and when I got home I realized that they didn't give me half my order and still charged me for it.

They didn't have any corn muffins, and the cherries had mold on them, but my shopping experience as a whole here was a good one. My favorite thing was that the line wasn't long. I was annoyed by the self checkout I was using because it kept insisting that I needed help from a clerk and making me wait for them before I could go any further(the clerk was annoyed too😭😂😂).There were no spills or messes anywhere and the workers were all nice.

I was in the sushi department picking up an order for Uber eats. No one was at the station but noticed when I arrived a woman at the dinner station right beside them. I asked her for the order and she looked at me like I spoke a foreign language mind you she is a mature black woman. So I go and proceed to wait for the sushi people. I called the store so I could be directed to them heard it over the loud speaker but no one arrived still. I go back to the woman in the dinner department and she literally stood there knowing no one was back there and just watched me wait. I ask if she could go back there and see she tells me no because that’s not her department after I question multiple times how will I get my order if no one is there to make it she goes back there with an attitude. So first she lies and says she can’t go back there but ends up doing it. Just seemed like she didn’t want to do her job. I have my kid with me and I hate dealing with crazy stuff when my child is with me . I go up from to the floral department to request a manager to complain about the poor customer service. The flower department woman ( white woman long blond ish hair and glasses tall slender ) literally walked from her department to the sushi and started making the order for me. The lady on the other department told me she couldn’t do it because she didn’t work there. Good customer service goes a long way I hope that woman with the bad attitude ( black woman heavy a little bit wore glasses ) gets fired and gives herself a reality check. What she should’ve did was done by someone else. She literally could’ve just helped me and got me out the way but now you had me go off on you in the store and now writing a bad review and i truly hope Kroger sees this. SHE NEEDS MORE TRAINING

The workers there are very nice & friendly, and go out of their way to help!! I had a superb experience there, and if the prices were a bit lower, this would be where I always would shop! Whenever I need food that's tailored for my allergies (milk and wheat), this is ALWAYS where I can find what I need.

"Fresh" baked bread was as hard as a rock. Deli guy said there was a 40 minute wait for them to slice cold cuts. Apparently there were orders. Why would a store prioritize people that are not even here. I made the effort to show up at your store and I'm less important. Ridiculous! Threw back all of my impulse purchases and walked out.

Big store! I loved looking around. The cute Valentines gifts at the front door caught my eye today. They have a pharmacy, a Starbucks that seats at least 32 people, a salad bar, great selection of cheeses, and much more. Prices were pretty good.

I will never order from Kroger again. I ordered groceries for delivery. I ended up cancelling because they changed my delivery time to a later time. It took them .5 seconds to take the money off my card but it has now been 2 days and I still haven’t received my refund from that order. It’s RIDICULOUS!!!!

I love this store! The chocolate chip cookies in the bakery are some of the best I have ever tasted. The fried chicken is the closest facsimile to Chic-A-Sea. The Boost program also saves you a lot of money.

Placed a special order for a Frozen cupcake cake TEN days prior to my daughters birthday. I call the day I’m supposed to pick up just to make sure it’s ready. They didn’t make the cake and completely forgot about the order “because my order got placed in the wrong stack”This is so not okay and I had to go out and rush to find a birthday cake for my daughter THE DAY OF HER BIRTHDAY. Ugh. So disappointed

This Kroger with out a doubt is the most frustrating I’ve shopped at. Barley any carts to use, granted they have cart attendants walking around. Their frozen vegetable freezers are 50/50 always broken or empty, with no notice nor apology given. I find myself having to go to the Kroger in Yorktown because this one never has any spinach much less anything else, granted I live across the street. When you ask anyone do they have any or when will they have any, they always look lost or confused. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the team members at self checkout are always pleasant.

Most of the staff is friendly. Price and selection is good. I find numerous out of stocks on same items, so ordering needs to improve.
