My mom has been going to Lena for over 20 years! She’s amazing and really cares for all the pups! Just a heads up she does only groom small breeds! I’m about to get a puppy soon myself and will probably bring my pup to her all the way from VA Beach.

Lena goomed our Chrissy Pup for almost 17 years and always did an outstanding job. She was so gentle with our pup in her last year's. It has taken us a while to get another furbaby, but we recently did and was excited to see Heads and Tails is still in business. I'm giving her a call this week and hope she will goome our sweet Izzy. 😋

I LOVE Lena!! She is like the dog whisperer!! My little Samson (5 lb Yorkie) is so anxious when going to the groomer thanks to a bad experience several years back. I had resorted to trimming him myself because he wouldn't behave for anyone UNTIL I found Lena! Samson behaves for her and she does a great job with him. You can tell she loves dogs and what she does! She treats every dog like they are her own! I highly recommend her!

Lena has been taking care of my Yorkies for 15 years and treats them like they are her own. She works with me on my oldest having skin issues and getting the right shampoo. Special Lady and daughter duo ❤️

About a year ago, I was searching around for places to get my dog groomed. I decided to give Heads & Tails a call, since it was literally down the street from my house. A woman answered and proceeded to ask me numerous questions about why I wanted to get my dog groomed there. I told her how I was interested in finding a groomer who was local and convenient for me to go to. After interrogating me some more about what my dog was like (I told her a small Lhasa Apso), she then decided to say "Sorry, i don't think I am going to take your dog as a client. My mom and I are just too swamped to take in any more difficult dogs". By then I was too shocked to say anything further. I was polite the whole conversation, but this woman really wanted to be rude and judge my dog, even though she had never met her before. This was all too disappointing, considering I had heard they specialized in grooming small breeds. I didn't know making an appointment was like trying to get into an exclusive country club!

Lena is great at what she does. The fact that she has been in business for over 25 years and has customers that have been bringing family dogs to her for that long speaks for itself.
