The store was really clean and did not have overstock throughout the store. The employees were quite respectful and friendlyThe parking lot is not in the beat conditions. It has large pot holes and crack.

I visited here recently before arriving to Buckroe Beach for a family outing. This store was a lifesaver because we were able to get the kids all the toys and gear they needed to have a great day at the beach. The store is very clean and the staff was very pleasant. Perfect location and life saver.

Word to the wise for truck drivers coming here to deliver for Family Dollar. Do not go around the building on the end where Hunan's. It is extremely tight, If there is anybody part in the handicapped spaces you are not going to have enough room to swing wide enough. Go to the other end of the plaza and come around the back there is enough room to spin around. I asked Uploaded photos of the rear entry by Hunan's.The other end is an actual street that you're coming off of to get behind the building.

Went in Sept 3 2019 to do my regular shopping and was not greeted when walking in. Manager has a very nasty attitude. This makes the atmosphere of the store unbearable to shop. You need managers with a better attitude to work with customer.

This is my local store and I've shopped it for years. Lately the store is not very well stocked Overall it's an okay store with a FEW pleasant employees, however today I had a very bad experience with the check-out woman, and it's not the first time a member of the staff was unprofessional or rude. First off she didn't smile the whole time as I watched her in line (maybe home life is bad, but you can't bring that to work with you). I was treated badly and (sad to say) it felt like racism. I feel like if I was another 55 year old woman of her race, that my request would have been accommodated, and during the process, I was make to feel like I would steal a pair of $6 shoes, even though I was in the checkout aisle with a whole basket of items (I simply asked would she remove the security feature, so I could slip the shoes on while in the line and she refused to do it until they were paid for). I have spoken with the district manager, who was very nice and said he would address these issues today, and hopefully, this store changes. I am interested in the development of Buckroe Beach area and the Phoebus area and employees like this will not go over well with vacationing shoppers.

I visit the store because it is a local shop in my neighborhood. It's hit or miss whether or not they will have what I'm looking for. It seems like they are constantly doing some type of reorganization. They have really good prices and sales on certain items, but other items seem to be overpriced, while other items seem to be constantly out of stock.

The employees there are nice, but some are not TOO professional. So if you need to "zip in-and-zip out", you're good to go. But to do actual shopping...well, if you're an "old-school" parent, don't bring the kiddies lol.

The current Management is amazing, other certain employees are unprofessional but the regulars are outstanding, they go out there way for so much. Shopping here has made a difference to a young adult going through times.

Employees are always helpful and very pleasant at this location. Prices are great. I perfer to go here for a quick item versus going to Walmart.
