It had been years since I had been to Bass Pro shop! I went to pick up an online order of an item I couldn’t find anywhere else at such a last minute! I was shocked at how beautifully it had been decorated for Christmas! It made me want to go take pictures with Santa, but I didn’t! 😂 Next year I will definitely take my little ones there!

This store has something for the whole family!!! Our favorites are the gun, fishing, and grilling sections! They are well stocked with everything that you could possibly need. The staff in each of these sections was also beyond helpful and made numerous quality recommendations that we tried and loved.

So I went in for a purchase and found it quite interesting here…..I sent my Grandson the pictures and most will be able to fill the blank he was very eager to go☺️☺️ so much so Sunday morning he calls I go and pick him up….he loved it everything about the store(animals,fish tanks, archery,cowboy boots,fishing poles,atvs, mini kids shooting range) needless to say we didn’t just pop in!!! It was like a sporting goods amusement park😉he made some friends while there and he and this lil boy named “Will” became inseparable so much so they’re supposed to have a play date at his house to shoot his air rifles….in a perfect world we would strive to be like the kids in this picture who didn’t see color but saw playing together and having a damn good time😊😊😊😊

The store is a little bit better than it used to be. It's actually stocked up pretty good compared to the empty pegs and shelves from years ago. It was so frustrating that the locals didn't even bother to shop there anymore. On sale items there would be literally only 2 baits come in on shipments which is crazy to the locals who wanted the products on sale. Employees always been helpful and nice. The store is always clean. I love having the store here in my city!

Great selection, especially in firearm accessories and hot sauces. But much of the equipment is wildly over-priced, but this is a great place to come and check things out in person, then purchase the same item for far less online through Amazon or other retailers.

Ok seriously who doesn't LOVE Bass Pro Shop. They had already started decorating for Christmas and the tree is lovely.My husband was looking for a particular item and after the hour long wait he was finally helped.It wasn't the busy part it was lack of help, (number of employees to customers.) The sales staff are very nice and knowledgeable, just a busy day for that department.

My recent visit to Bass Pro was to look at and price guns. I was pleasantly surprised to be helped and educated by a professional, active-duty military employee with many years of experience and knowledge. It's refreshing to have authentic encounters with people like Justin who take pride and still genuinely care. Thank you, Justin!

Went to “Bass Pro Shops “ for ammunition. They weren’t very crowded at the time. The store was clean and everything was on the shelf. I found the floor sales people rather distant and unhelpful. The pro shop has a very large selection of products, so it was hard for a first timer in this store to navigate through. In the end they still didn’t have the caliber of ammunition I needed. Thanks for reading my comment and a helpful thumbs up 👍🏻 would let know others read these reviews.

2/17/2025, absolutely lousy experience! ZERO star rating, but you can't post a review without selecting a star!!!!!! Customer service was horrendous! Refused to honor store voucher and medical discount. Lack of open registers, only 2 open with lines extending into the men's clothing! This is the second visit in 1 month were I've left my purchases and walked out. For a "fishing store", you should realize that fishing is YEAR ROUND and keep the store stocked.

Nice clean store, lots of stuff, great selection. Looking for 12 ga, ammo.Can't figure how, why the ammo is arranged as it is. Couldn't find 12 GA. #6 Light 1 Oz game loads. There were #7.5, and #8, but no #6.

Jon in the guns department was exceptionally friendly and patient with our gun purchase this past Sunday. I was waiting with my husband, and I made a comment about my feet hurting and Jon said “hang on one sec” and he went to the back and came back with a stool for me to sit on! We’d been running around all day after just moving to the area so this gesture was just so appreciated.

Bought a Browning safe earlier this week and had a great employee that helped me. Because of the good experience I can back today to spent about couple thousand dollars on new firearms. I stood at the desk for a solid hour while the employees took an obnoxiously long time with other customers and then proceeded to get passed over for people that had just shown up. Finally they began reading off a waitlist (that the other people weren’t on and they hadn’t been using so far) and skipped right passed me again. So I drove 30 mins to the store and stood there for an hour for no reason at all. This experience ruined the positive experience I had earlier this week and now someone else and a different business will have my business.

Nice store it is a little small compared to all the other bass pro stores I have been in but still has a selection of all things. Some items on sale but not a ton. Camping section was small and the fishing section I thought would have been bigger due to being fairly close to everything. I was worth the stop in when it was raining and checking it out.

Drove over 45 minutes to come to this store and the queue for a firearm purchase was a laughable 3 hours. On a Monday evening. They had only 2 people on the counter. This place is ridiculous. Every time I come it is super busy and no one is around to help or managers are shooting the breeze while the staff scrambles. It is Christmas time so I am shocked they didn’t think they’d need more than 2 people. Poor planning. Do better bass pro!

I love this BassPro! We go here all throughout the year for our outdoor needs, boating, clothing, Christmas gifts and visits with Santa. This store is clean, organized and theres always a kind person when we need assistance.

I went in early to beat the crowd and long lines. Found a pair of shoes and entered a long gauntlet "a long passage way cordoned using displays with lots of stuff they would like you to buy" line with about 30 people ahead of me. There was only two checkers available. I spent better than twice the time in line then shopping. "I had one pair of shoes. With that said, I think the gauntlet was designed to show customers all of the cheap candy and stuff they could pick up while in line and they made sure you had plenty of time to shop.

Oh gosh I’m awful with the name, but thank you to the woman in customer service when I called asking about a balaclava. She went above and beyond to help us over the phone, and I just realized that they’re close to closing time. Thank you so much!

Bass pro shop / Outdoor world is more than a shop. It is an experience in itself. Good selection of everything you can think of in hunting, fishing and outdoor life.The prices seem somewhat high compared to other competitors.

I went to bass pro to pick up a rifle that was shipped for me. I went to the counter and was told about the new protocol where I was to SC as n a sign and would be placed on a waiting list and would be called in two hours when it was my turn. To me, this is a waste of time and its done to make the clerks feel self important since there was virtually no one at the counter being waited on and the clerks were just standing around. This protocol should be abandoned as it causes frustration with the customers. Aside from that, it's a nice store.

Bass Pro Shop is a good place to shop for outdoor gear, but I would not recommend the ship-to-store option. I recently placed an order for powder, and it took over a week for it to ship. When I contacted customer service, they were unable to tell me when it would ship or when it would arrive at the store.This was very frustrating, as I needed the powder for a hunting trip that was coming up soon. I ended up having to cancel my order and purchase the powder from another store.I would recommend that Bass Pro Shop improve their ship-to-store process. They should be able to provide customers with a tracking number and an estimated delivery date. Otherwise, customers should be aware that the ship-to-store option may take a long time.Overall, I would give Bass Pro Shop 3 out of 5 stars. They have a good selection of products, but their ship-to-store process needs improvement.

Very cool store. The fish tank is always a hit with the kids. Whenever we are passing through Hampton we have to stop by and let them check it out and grab a snack.

Love the store and the setup. Was a little disappointed with how unorganized the firearm section was. Waited in line for over an hour and was skipped over numerous times. Lost out on the gum I wanted because the last 2 were sold to someone that showed up after me.

I was so crazy about being there. I loved it was in Hampton VA. Took some pictures hope they look good. But it was just an awesome place to walk around seeing as much as I could in the time that I had.
