I can’t say enough good things about this facility and their staff. I am a local firefighter and I have to board my dog 10x a month while I am at work and she absolutely loves going here. The staff is so friendly and they take such amazing care of her. She is a nervous dog and they have cultivated such a loving and nurturing environment that she just opens up when she goes there and stay with them. I would not trust her care to anyone else. Highly recommend to anyone

We all need more patience with the pets. Mine is one, Buck ( 67.7 lbs. Pitbull) He is like a toddler, trying to do stuff quick without you knowing it. They are good with Buck. It's Buck being Buck!# Thank you for what you do!!Be Blessed!!💜

This is the second time that we have utilized this establishment. The staff is great! Supper friendly and serious about taking care of our fur buddy. We will continue to utilize them. The price per night is very reasonable. I would suggest reservations for your fur buddy. Then, go and enjoy yourself without worrying.

My dog gets boarded there on average 2 weekends a month due to my work schedule. He loves them and they love him. The excitement that they have when Bentley comes in is rewarding to me, as a dog owner. I recommend them with no hesitation. Matter of fact, we are on our way to pick him up now.

We boarded our Aussiedoodle here for a week while on vacation. They recommended we leave an old t-shirt with her so she could still smell us with her while boarding, great idea. We left her with a chew toy also. We got everything we left with her back when we picked her up. She was in a great mood when we picked her up. She seems like she was well taken care of. Staff is very friendly. Other customers there with their dogs very friendly as well. We will board again.

My dog boarded here for a few days. They checked her hurt leg and put her on anti-inflammatory drugs and she was not in pain. Set up x-ray for day after I.returned and my dog is herself again personality-wise and will get surgery soon.Dr Jones and Drs Silky really care about animals.

I have boarded my 70lb lab mix here twice. the first time for 8 days, the second time for 9 days. The staff is organized and caring. My dog comes back happy. Very reasonable prices. Each dog has a small outdoor space. The staff is accommodating to special needs like keeping them in a quiet inside room for 24 hours for dogs afraid of fireworks. Only downside is they don't have doggy daycare, so not any playtime other than once a day in the yard. The environment is safe and they are well cared for.

I’ve only taken my dog once so far but the service was immaculate and the prices were the best I’ve found in Hampton Roads. The included bath after boarding was a nice touch that I haven’t been offered at other boarders nearby.

Came in there total time spent with no service an hour and 45 minutes waited 35 minutes to get into the room and sat there for the remainder of the time with no one showing up I think they fell asleep or something that isn't the way you do the public I know you might be the only veterinarian local but that's not the way to operate

We were only in town for a day and were able to drop our dog off with limited hassle and for a reasonable price. She was perfectly happy when we picked her up. We would definitely use them again if we are back in town.

We have a toy Australian shepherd. She is only about 10 pounds and she's a nervous little thing. I hesitate to leave her anywhere. Due to a family emergency we did a last minute board at Armistead Animal Inn. I could not have been happier! They treated her super well there! She was happy when she came back and even seems to be doing a little better socially with strangers since she's had a couple of visits. They are extremely well priced also! Highly recommend.

both of my dogs that are medical ADA certified stayed for 5 days. We paid for both to bathe... they came out with black spots over them! They said it was from the newspaper that they lay on to dry off! They also said it would come off after bathing them twice!One of dogs I found 3 ticks on... never had ticks before!I took there own bucket of food and didn’t look like much was eaten. They look so thin! I literally cried!!!

My dog was boarding for a little over a week and once I picked him up he had knots/bumps on the top of his head and had a big open wound on his nose. I had called in to check on him several times andwas told he was alright. The Vet wanted to speak tome about the knot on his head and nose wound. She said she didn’t know if he had the knots before he came, which he did not. He was given antibiotics but I didn’t know any of this until I picked him up. This was all new to me, no one called and told me anything or told me anything about this when I called to check on my dog. I will not be using this business again
