A great store if you just want to grab a few items quickly. The staff are usually very friendly. The aisles are kind of close together and crowded though. It would be nicer and look cleaner if there was more room between aisles and if items were not on display between some aisles.

I use the DG in Halifax, Va. Always friendly and helpful attendants. I know they have long hours, but they always have a smile. Ms Belinda makes my day when I visit that location!

The store is very convenient to be the only one in Halifax, Va. I know it's a good store because I worked at it for its grand opening years ago. I went there this morning and got professional help looking for what I needed due to an emergency of my own personal values. I highly recommend the store because they have cleaned up a lot in the past year or so because of bad reviews. I can say I'm proud of the owner and the company and the people that run the store.

Not sure why anyone wouldn't feel safe in the parking lot. I've never been afraid there.Their store always neat and clean. Their store brands are often way cheaper than big box store brands. The cashiers are the best!

Store clerks are clueless. Store offers almost no diabetic friendly items. Aisles are cluttered, and basic items are often out of stock. Prices are the most expensive of any area retailer. Computerized registers often malfunction. I do not recommend this store.

Excellent location and since the remodel things are organized well and more stuff to choose from. The staff have always been kind and helpful. Great place to shop!

I stopped here for the first time yesterday on my way from Halifax to Lynchburg and I will never stop there again. They had the rudest, most unfriendly employees (2) I have ever had the displeasure of being rung up by. They were more interested in talking to each other than me and when I mentioned it, they both looked at me and went right back to their conversation.....and it was not about work. Terrible customer service!
