Mr. Abbot Is a proffessional @sshole. Ascosted me in the store for bringing an item back, in new condition in less than 30 days, and says " whats wrong with you, get out of my store". No problem. For $20, he just lost a lifetime worth of business. A rude and disgusting sub-human.

Staff very helpful and knowledgeable, prices are same as bigger stores, and far more choices for farm supplies. They also sell plants, I didn't purchase but they looked very healthy and not beat up like at other places. They seem to take care of them very well.

Great farm store with a bit of everything. Love that they have gotten in different varieties the new bagged soils and nutrients for my plants needs. Love the coast of Maine and daddy Pete's lineup of soils and amendments. Only place I can find vermiculite in the off season.

Well just went in to check them out and ended up buying a new .410 for snake control. Not the brand I was looking for but I am very pleased with my purchase. The employees are super friendly and will help you find what you're looking for in a jiffy. Definitely going to go back in the spring to get the farm seeds. We've been having bad luck with the ones lately over the past few years so need to try a new supplier. They have a lot of items to look at and choose from. Unfortunately I was pressed for time so couldn't get to look much but will go back for sure.

I enjoy shopping here, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat and are like extended family. I have repeatedly bought from them, as opposed to lowes or walmart, as their prices are good, and their plants healthy, and their customer service is just delightful. Nice selections. Nice people.

I get all my plants for the garden from Abbotts. They are always healthy plants.Have good bargains on soil and amendments. Staff always nice and easy to talk to. If there is a particular seed or plant you need that they don't normally have ask them they will try and find it for you.

I had an not so great experience today with a simple request of placing tags on dog collars that I purchased online for a specific reason. County is mailing tags so no rivets were obtained. I go in to Abbott Farm Supply to see if they could attach the tags to the collars for me and an older woman somewhat rudely implied they don't normally unless I was a regular customer but they would and they would have to charge me which never crossed my mind that they would do it for free. The rest of the staff was OK but nothing friendly or inviting. This is the problem with supporting local businesses, smiles and friendliness is what gets regular returning customers. Definitely made me not want to return.

I went to Abbott's for the first time yesterday and Bill stopped what he was doing to help me find what I needed, gave me some helpful tips, and looked up on the computer if he could order something for me they didn't have in stock. I'm so happy I finally stopped in and will be returning!

Have worked with Abbott's plants for years. The quality cannot be beaten. Plants Thrive when you get them home and get them in the ground. I also get my chicken food and occasionally dog food there. Great store for hunters too.

Great, locally owned farm/garden/hunting/fishing/trapping business. And good prices to be a local business competing with TSC, Lowe's, Walmart, etc. I bought 1/2 supplies for garden here and it cost $30. When i slept in until 12 on a Saturday morn, I had to buy the second half at Lowe's because Abbott's closes at 12 on Saturday (closed Sunday). The second half of supplies cost me $85.... Basically the same items but not nearly the same price! Only local place I know of that sells Traps as well. Employees are always very willing to help out and extremely friendly!!
