I don't know about the extra low prices, however the store is always well stocked and clean. The employees are extremely helpful, professional, and polite, especially the curly hair guy at the front (hope your wrist heals quickly). There are plenty of carts and handbaskets available every time we visit, and the parking lot is clean.

Fully staffed, very neat, friendly people.Food Lion has stepped up their business to a new level. The amount of associates working whenever I go in makes you feel good knowing that the store is neat and orderly, if it's in stock it's on the shelf. All retailers have an in stock availability on different items sometimes and the FL here is no different. You can't have your cake and eat it too, so get over it. Kudos to them for making the best possible experience.

Watch the dates! Buy the produce if you are going to use it today. Great place to run in & grab one or two needed things, but not for a monthly shopping trip. Went 18 March 2018 for gravy, wanting mashed potatoes & gravy.... I found gravy that expired in 2016!

I had a wonderful experience today. I was being rang up by this very sweet man. I asked him his name and he said Santa Claus haha. I went a dollar and some change over what I could pay and he paid it for me then even tried to give me the change. This man deserves a raise!

I love this store! I can always find what I'm looking for, I can buy in small(for just the two of us or a single lunch), medium or large quantities, they have the sourdough bread we love, the produce is wonderful and fresh, well maintained and displayed so that its easy to find what I'm looking for. The staff are helpful and know what customer service is including keeping up on their products quality.

This is a very good store, I briefly lived close to this store just over a year ago and it was ran very well from a customer's perspective. Registers we're always opened when lines were beginning to lengthen and the isles were well groomed as well as cleaned! Having worked for the company before I notice these things!

I feel like there's been some changes in management or leadership at some level because the store doesn't seem as well organized as it used to. I used to run into a manager named Gerald who I havent seen recently, and wonder if he was the glue holding that together. I hope this store figures it out.

The Grottoes Food Lion is always well stocked, clean and the staff are always pleasant and professional, and there's never a staff shortage that I can tell. I've been shopping there for 6 years and will continue to do so.

Clean organized store my 3 stars are for seeing produce that is definitely bad still out and also bad lunch meat clearly needs removing. The meat department does not cut their steaks evenly so you buy a ribeye that is 1 inch thick on one end and barely a quarter of an inch on the other side!! how can you cook this right! Please get your help trained better! Cannot sell expensive steaks like this and expect people to be happy....

Food Lion is my go to grocery store. The attendants are friendly. Unlike other grocery stores they do not expect their customers to work for them. Thanks to their leadership I appreciate their service.

Prices not visible in many areas, frustrating, never have Gatorade in bottles in the dark blue, or purple, lunch box can't hold the next size up, this is scary because we have 4 kids going back to school in 2wks. gotta find our basics to pack lunches, some days it will be 5 lunches to pack. It's a food lion, not sure what else to say. The prices are good and you can find most of what you want there, so long as it's not too exotic. It can get pretty crowded during rush hour times, but that's to be expected given its location. Overall, never had an issue, the shelves are always stocked, and the cashiers are as swift as they can be.

I like this store, has a small town feeling even though it is a large company. They have a limited meat selection compared to their other stores.They are going through a renovation in the store. Should be a great improvement with the new displays.

I have been in many Food Lion store's, but this is the only one that will make you feel so uncomfortable, go thru the register not a hi how are you today and forget about them Smiling. If you can't find what you're looking for and ask a employee they will quiz you saying did you look down this ile and if so and it's not there we don't have it. I have drove 15 miles just for a more positive and pleasant shopping experience with nothing but happiness!.
