Rude employees. The place is a disaster more often than not.My 7 YEAR OLD said "have a nice day!" To the cashier after she cashed us out and the lady rudely LOOKED at my daughter and did not say a word!

Good Location, Well StockedThe only negative things I can think of is that the store is not organized sometimes, they have stock blocking aisles.Some of the Cashiers are rude to the customers. This last time we a wonderful young man to help us.

I enjoy going there for the great prices and easy to get in and get out fast. I like the lil things they have for my garden and great discount on my cleaning products with our coupons we get on-line. The ladies and gentlemen that work there are very nice....especially the young lady that helped me with all my products. &.she also shared and area I was not aware they had at this store. I know they have great items for sure but also now I know to make sure I go to the ( $1.00) dollar area.

Prior to their recent renovation, Dollar General was my go-to store for just about everything. Whether milk, soda, holiday decorations, toilet paper, party supplies, or a new outfit, I would pop into Dollar General and grab just about anything I needed.After their renovation, I’ve decided not to bother unless absolutely necessary. First, the cash registers are the worst things to navigate. I always end up in someone’s way trying to leave the store. Maybe it’s just me. There is no longer a clothing section and minimal pharmaceuticals. The emphasis appears to be on cheap home decor. The middle sections are devoted to metal buckets and artificial succulents.I’m sure I would get over how hard it is to locate items and employees who didn’t stock the store & have no idea either. I’m sure I would; I just don’t want to bother since my previous major purchases are gone.

Literally can’t even shop in this store because they have so much junk piled up through the isles. Took my daughter to look at the fall and Halloween items, can't get to or see any of it. The employees are not very friendly. There’s nothing on the shelf’s because it’s all in boxes on the push carts, in the middle of the isles. Can’t get a shopping cart through, god forbid someone in a wheel chair try to shop in this store. Those carts have got to be a safety hazard.

It wasnt even 7:30 pm when i walked in and the cashier said i had ten minutes to shop.I picked up 3 items went to pay and waited in line at least 10 minutes due to there was only one cashier in the store and he eas having issues that he could not handle.Me and another customer put ourvstiff down n.eslked out.They always have a long line and most often one cashier!

Store is always Messy , and cannot get around for cartons and merchandise everywhere sitting. Shelves are unorganized , Young staff if not people friendly . Only go there if absolutely have to . Really Need New Management That Cares About The Business !

Aisle's are extremely narrow. Every time we passed someone with a cart, we either went down the next aisle and backtracked to where we were. The other option was to Ross "scooch" around someone. It's like that at every DG though, constructed to pile as much merch as they can in a tinny space. The toys were neat but placed here and there in four different aisle's. Only one cashier and we got stuck behind a lady that bought 84 items.....other than that, love the place🤣

Omg... There was a younger man in here working the first and only night I had been in this store. He saw me running around back and forth and did not ask if I was finding everything ok nor did he offer any help.When I finally asked for help he was very disrespectful.

Used to be nice but now it's just always a mess. Boxes in the aisles etc. All the time. Stopped going there and switched to Family Dollar.

Dollar General is Dollar General. Always short staffed, slightly messy and usually filled aisles with truck items to be put away (Which takes forever because you are always short staffed) but the one in Grottoes is filled with nice people and less messy than stores in bigger areas.
