Love it. I can go in, get a snack, Harmless Harvest Coconut Water and their bathrooms are always clean. I looked for fresh cut fruit, but didn't see any.

The customer service is ok but not spectacular. It is easy to navigate and you can find the products you want except for specialty items. Hey thats a small price to pay when you are in a small town. I take my friend that requires a scooter as she is handicapped and we can usually find one. She didnt receive her steak that she bought, on the receipt and she called them. They told her to bring the receipt and they would refund her or she she can get another steak.

I love this Food Lion and have never had any complaints. Today there was a very rude employee stocking soup. Hope she has tomorrow off.

Nice grocery store after miles of driving country back roads with not much else. They were pretty well stocked and I even got some Redmill gluten free flour!

Quick visit. Had lots of buy 5 for $5 sale. Lots of fresh food and produces. Friendly cashier and the lines were not extremely long at all. The store appeared clean. Carts were in the designated area and the lighting was pretty good. There were many parking spaces as well.

Try it, you'll like it! Offering curbside pickup now just enhances the great experience at this small town grocery store. Already a big fan because of the wonderfully friendly employees, well stocked shelves, and small town feel, the added bonus of having them do my shopping for me is the gold star on my day. They keep me up to date on the process as they're going along, and the selections, whether it's meat, produce, or other delicate items, are on par with what I would pick if I was doing it myself. I may be closer to a bigger, fancier store, but I will drive the extra miles to shop at this location. Thumbs up!

Customer service awesome there. The quality of the produce is really really good. They could step up the deli service because when you purchase the deep fried chicken tenders they are really really superficially dry and yes it is because the old is not being changed but other words the daily is good. The dairy is really good, the grocery department is always really full in the owls when you need something a manager will always guide you to where you need to be at the meat department is always very informed on what you need and if not they will help you find what you need. Overall I will give them a 4.

Since there is no alternate grocery store this is the best place to get groceries in a 10 mile radius. The site is actually decently kept up. Usually easy to find items and check out quickly. Add with every where else expect to have random items not in stock. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. We will return mainly because there are not other options.

Generally well stocked and clean, but I can't get over seeing employees outside smoking in uniform. That's a bad look for where I get my food. That being said the staff is friendly and outgoing. Just need a designated smoking area, out of sight.

Great southern grocery store, everywhere we vacation in the South. Found everything I needed without driving 10 more miles. First visit to this particular store, exceeded my expectations in every way, especially price of most items.

This was my 1st time there to get a manicure. Mia was so nice to me. She remained kind and respectful toward me when I told her the time I come in could she put the polish all the way to my cuticles. She would not let me leave. She insisted on doing it right then . I highly recommend Super Nails

I call this place "Food Kitten" because its a small store, but they have an amazing selection. Blue Bell ice cream - the national ice cream of Texas! And everything I need to make tex-mex tamales. Beware shrink-wrapped produce.

New set up is nice and cashiers usually friendly but today I overheard two young cashiers making fun of how the customers looked behind their backs. They blatantly did this in front of other customers. My family shops there all the time and I would hate for this to happen to one of them. Manager is usually easy to find but today he must have gotten pulled away from the front. Not his fault but it would have been nice to put in a complaint about this. All people deserve respect regardless of how they look or dress.

I wish we had more grocery store options here. If you get produce, only get what you need for a few days. The coolers are set too cold and it's freezing some items. They'll turn into mush quickly. I've reported this to a couple cashiers and nothing has changed. The cheese selection is mediocre and could be improved. On the upside every deli person who has assisted me has been great and the meats are good even the reduced price items.

Nice people, the store manager (older male) could care about the safety of everyone during this time! They all have masks but no one is “required” so they don’t. Speak up and wear the masks, keep everyone safe. They only work if everyone is wearing them!

I've visited the Food Lion grocery store in Gordonsville, VA a handful of times to pick up a few items when I'm staying in the area. Have found the store to be clean and shelves fairly well stocked on each visit. Prices are mostly competitive as long as you have one of their "MVP Cards", which is Food Lion's membership card. If you don't have one, then you can obtain a "MVP Card" from the service desk at the store.

This Food Lion has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how much money I save with the MVP card and Food Lion app, too! The combination of these things make me want to continue to make me want to be a Food Lion customer!

I found everything I wanted to buy, and was in and out in a jiffy. This Gordonsville store is always well-stocked and clean. The fruits and vegetables are kept in a cold room, which I haven't seen in other stores. I would recommend shopping here!

I went to the Gordonville Food Lion on my way home from Vet visit . What a difference from Louisa's Food Lion.!! It was clean with plenty of supplies and open cashiers vs. Self check out !!! This is sad. Every 6 months or so I stop on my way back from Charlottesville/Ruckersville to the sad realization. Corporate needs to get Louisa that same supplies, services and training. I thought that it was the Covid and supply chain shortage , nope - it is that Corporate thinks it can ignore Louisa. This is rude.
