Stand up for what you believe in. I believe in fairness. At this organization I was not treated fairly. Because I make efforts to treat people fairly, speaking up about this is important. I hope there will be a change in leadership at this organization in order to have staff members who are willing to engage lovingly and respectfully with the wonderful clients who make the effort to come by and give Goochland Cares their business.

I feel like Goochland Cares only cares about numbers of client they claim to help so they can get donations for to pay the top people lots of money. The donation of money suppose to go to helping people but it really don’t. The items that’s donated it’s priced so high that the credits that they claim to give you is not enough to get what you needThere is racial issues that goes on behind closed door that people don’t know about. I was trying to bring people of color together so we all can be able to get along together and not feel like a number. If I had my way I would take donations and put every penny in helping the community not put in my pockets. You can get volunteers to help with everything instead of paying people who thinks they are so much better then others

Moving from cali and hearing about this place was a life savor!!!! Allison in the medical department is an angel sent from above when it comes to returning calls reaching out sending email and EVEN RESPONDING! Anita is ALSO GREAT!! Only person that can find a vein to draw blood without any pain! BUT DONT GET ME WRONG EVERY ONE IS HELPFUL! But these two ladies made things easy not stressful and always have a smile when I see them!!

I can’t put into words how grateful I am for these folks. I’m a new client and relatively new to the area. They have been so patient with me as I’ve had a lot of questions and have been adjusting. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been extremely helpful and professional. The kindness and care they have given me is very much appreciated.

On November 13th while I was there shopping for my brother, Kim Parrish. I became dizzy and faint. The volunteers came to my rescue and helped me by giving me water, sitting me down, getting their nurse and watching over me like a flock of ANGLES..I must say my brother and I have been going to the Care for several months and they have been been wonder and the food items have the best

Had some spare t shirts I donated...when am I going to have the time to clean and use 3 extra shirts someone might have use for? You can donate right at the front desk...staff was courteous
