Excellent store, amazing people all throughout from management downExcept for that deli. I bet they could use a couple of different people, and this food lion would become a five-star experience.Its obvious that a few of them hate their job and take it out on the customer.Other than that, this place kills it.

Spot on Food Lion, minus the angry old boomers who hate their lives working the deli. They absolutely refuse to shred your ham and if you ask for any help oh man it’s the end of their world. Then I go to check out and the boomer lady at the register refused to talk to me. I could barely get a “Hi”. I asked her how are you doing today and she just glared me down. Haha it laughable.Love the young kids there and all the other employees. But man your deli is full of hate, I’m going to go to short pump for my deli needs. Pretty wild stuff I bet the kids up front would work the deli, just an idea…

I'm changing my review due to the young man who works the night shift. This youngin is always a weirdo when I come into the store. God forbid I happen to come in 10 - 15 minutes before closing to grab a last-minute item. He has followed me around the store, stares uncomfortably and one time, while at the self checkout, he walked repeatedly around me an the registers, making a figure 8, until I abruptly asked him to stop. All of that would make anyone uncomfortable. The night crew is much, much different than the day shift.

I ALWAYS have problems here. Yesterday I didn't get my tomatoes I paid for, but also saw they over charged me on another item. I was told they no longer have price accuracy guarantee, because it was too expensive. Take a look at the pictures. It was on sale for $9.22 and $8.87 they didn't sell so they reduced to $9.68 and $9.31. This is a normal thing for this Food Lion.

Here's one for ya..Ribeyes on sale for the 4 July.. opened them wen home and see the best part ( rib cap) was cut out.I wouldn't have know except for the fact that I cut meat for 15years.I suppose someone there thinks they like them more than me

Quite a different experience today in this Food Lion. They had a table where they were accepting applications up front near the store. Staff seemed much less friendly & my cashier was downright rude. The meat selection (which is usually consistent with good quality) was definitely not as good. My steak package had purposely hidden a much lower quality steak in a 3-pack. I hope this isn't the way it's going to be in the future.The visit today (6/7/23) was better, but generally, the staff was still unfriendly. The overall tone seems negative in the store. Hard to describe.

Their sushi is fresh and delicious. But the Produce Dept is horrible. Rotting veggies or none that you are looking for are available. They are very short staffed in that dept. Do better.

Usually go there, near my home but it's the worst foodloin I've been in. Always out of product that I always find at a foodloin about 15 minutes or so from this location, managers aren't very friendly or visible. Ridiculous that I have to drive past this location to go to another but certain things the kids like for their lunches I find there so I go.. one star for me...

Lazy staff. Never enough registers open while employees stand around. You have to complete with employees shopping with big carts for lazy customers. I wish a competitor would open a store here

Store is always clean and is now well stocked. All store employees are courteous and helpful.. Covid 19 practices are in place, and they do require a mask. Unusually crowded on Sunday afternoons, so pick a different time if you are in a hurry!!

Why remodel and then not get a sushi bar or salad bar or fresh seafood deli? I don't understand the remodeled stores if all you're going to do is move shelving and paint. But on a positive note, Food Lion is quick shopping because of the lack of fresh market items. Easy to get in and buy blue box Mac and Cheese and get out.

Don’t be rude & call out only certain customers. I accidentally went through the “entrance” door as I was leaving & the lady stopped me & would not let me go through. I apologized & said I didn’t realize. I told her my car is right here. She still said no. So I guess I can walk back through the store and get in contact with even more people while she’s letting customers into the store not enforcing them to wear a mask. If you’re going to enforce one rule then enforce them all.

Virginia was not a very pleasant cashier. I was not greated upon putting my items on the belt. In fact, she did not speak at all. When she had finished ringing up my items she did not give me the total. I looked up at the screen and asked her if my total was X amount, and she still said nothing. I put my card in and left. She might be having a bad day but it was very off putting.

We purposely drive 35 minutes to food lion in tuckahoe village. Reasons are simple, rude, slow, horrible service. It’s worth the travel to save myself the irritability and stress when I leave this store no matter the date or time period. Do not recommend.

Food Lion has great customer service. I had to return something I bought and they stood by their quality guarantee and gave me double my money back. My only criticism, is that sometimes the quality of their meat could be better.

One of two chain grocery stores in Fluvanna county. Parking lot can be crowed. Decent selection all things considered for a smaller grocery store in the country. Store is generally well stocked and clean with friendly staff.
