I’m kinda ticked off the we purchased a fairly big ticket item that went on sale the next week and they wouldn’t refund the difference in price. Guess I’m just used to businesses that are more focused on keeping treating their customers good instead of just selling stuff. We’ve changed our purchasing decisions to a retailer that’s more focused on what’s fair. We now drive by TSC to spend our hard earned money elsewhere. It’s not really about the money, it’s the mindset.

Sat in my van waiting for someone to help me with 2 bales of straw. While 2 employees were in front me hanging out with friends, I sat and waited. After several minutes, I finally called the store to ask for help. Another employee came from the store to help me, while the other two were still hanging out with their friends.

Customer service is always good here. My complaint is about the upkeep of the ducklings when they are there for the season. They are ALWAYS out of water,their food is covered with wood chips and their pine bedding is so wet and compacted it has turned into a wet solid mess. Each new batch its the same lack of care and they are shivering and too many to a pen. I bring it to an employees attention every time I am in there ( several times a week) ...get creative with the waterer so they cant spill it..even though its their natural instinct to do so. There should be one employee committed to the care of the poultry round the clock so their needs are met and it does not get so so bad. Or better yet stop ordering so many at a time. Not maintaining these animals in a healthy happy manner means your selling damaged goods. I honestly cant see this anymore so I will shop in YorktownHere it is 3 months later and Gloucester tractor supply is still allowing their baby chicks to live and deplorable conditions. Five employees within a 20-foot distance of the chickens hadn't checked on them for 20 minutes. And again no water access. I'm going to now complain to the corporate offices and any animal cruelty authorities

What great customer service they have. We talked to Diane last fall about needing another pecan tree, she took our name . 5 months layer, she called to let us know the store had received one. She made us feel that we were important customers. What a memory. I highly recommend this store. They are the best. They are assets to the store and community, too.

Usually very friendly and helpful but I have to knock a star because they don’t have very clear communication. Store hours on Google are not the same as what is posted on the door, and shockingly the Google hours seem to be the most accurate ones.And then the pet wash hours online and on the app say open until the store closes; obviously I wouldn’t want to show up at 8:59 and hold everyone up, but I keep getting mixed messages. Twice we’ve shown up at 8:00 and the first time it was fine, and they even sold another pet wash after us. The second time they had to radio to the back if it was okay to sell a pet wash at 8, and then at 8:30 one of the staff members came to tell us we needed to finish up (we were done anyways, but still). Then last night we showed up at 7, since I had the idea that 8 was too late, and the lady at the register sold us the pet wash, but a male worker came up while we were waiting for the person in there to finish and told us he had to “check if it’s okay” because they usually close the pet wash at 7. For context, all of these nights they were closing at 9:00, and when the employee approached us after we bought the wash it was only 7:05. Not sure why they can’t just post some consistent hours, I’m not trying to hold anyone up, I’m just trying to wash my dog.

We have been going to all of the tractor supplies in our area recently to see if we could find a hat that we had bought some time ago and subsequently have lost. It was Orange camo that said tractor supply. My husband really would like to have it back but we cannot find where he lost his or where to buy a new one. If you can find us one that would be great.

Love this branch. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The always have the items I need and the coupons I get in the mail are great also. I also enjoy the vip pet services they offer and that they do a lot for the local shelters. We also attend the chicken swap they have in the parking lot. This is am overall great place to shop for all my animals needs.

Today I used the Pet Vet vaccination clinic and the Gloucester location. They were quick and efficient with registration. They were polite and gentle with all 3 of my dogs. I will definitely use them again.

Awesome store!!!! I live in Hampton & called 3 other stores, trying to find an insecticide called, 'Demon WP' & even tho all 3 stores I called showed that they had the product in their inventory, they actually didn't have the product in any of the 3 stores I called.... then I called the Gloucester location & they had it, FINALLY!!!! They even offered to hold the product behind the counter for me until I could get there to pick it up. Before this, I even tried to order it online to pick it up from the store that's closest to me thru the "free same day" order option & my order was canceled. When I called the store to find out why, I was given excuses & basically told to either get it from another location or pay the extra $10‐12 to get it ordered to my house, which would take at least 3 business days. I even tried to ask the associate if I could come in to their store & pay for the item to have it shipped to their store for the free pick-up & was told that it wasn't an option. The only thing that location could offer me was a rain check & that I could buy it when ever they got this particular product in on their truck but that he didn't know when that would be b/c they can't order any specific items to come in on their next truck order... which is ridiculous to me.Sooo, props go out to Gloucester for their help & for actually having the product that their inventory says they have.... plus offering to put it aside on hold for me behind these counter until I could come pick it up. Obviously they have awesome staff & their store was very clean & efficient. I would recommend this store to anyone & will be a repeat customer in the future, even tho I literally pass by another Tractor Supply store on there way to the Gloucester location.

I am in TSC on a weekly basis as I own a small farm. Spend about 700 dollars per month. This morning I had to unload 300 lbs of feed so cashier could scan items, reload items to the cart, take items to my truck and load my own truck. No customer service.

First time going to Tractor Supply. We bought a pair of boots. Very nice boot selection for men and women. There were cowboy hats and clothes. Supplies for animals, tools, and many other items for yards and farming. I liked the prices for pet food and will be going back for some. The cashier was really friendly. I cannot believe I haven't shopped here before.

The associates in this store are always so helpful, but today a young man with long hair (I'm sorry I was so excited I forgot to get his name) made my day, and especially son's (and Granddaughters)Christmas!Last week I ordered a go cart, and he had to call me to inform me that although the website said they had it, they didn't. Today, after the store received one and got it put together for display, he remembered me and called me! He saved me a drive to Mechanicsville tomorrow, as well as having to figure out how to put it together. What he didn't know, was that last year we lost my children's father, my husband, so all that he did for us is such a blessing! I cannot say Thank you enough!I almost forgot to add that he and another young man loaded it up in my elderly FIL's truck for us! Thank you so much!

Perhaps whoever is managing this location should try to hire people who actually want to do their jobs and serve their customers in a respectful and courteous manner instead of making excuses about why they can't do something when it's been done at this location on multiple occasions! So many people need Job's, if the individual I just dealt with doesn't want to be there and do their job, then find someone who will appreciate the opportunity to serve the community that they are located in!

Eclectic array of pet supplies and farm supplies. All your gardening needs. The staff is friendly, when I needed boxes they saved them for me. They have a poultry swap that offers an array of livestock. If you don't plan to purchase, it is still a great experience especially for the littles to see all the animals. They offer a spray clinic as well. All in all a great local store to support and purchase all your garden, pet and outdoor supplies.

Nice store and friendly, helpful staff. Only complaint is that they are often out of stock of the most popular sizes of much of their men's clothing. The only sizes they seem to have in stock all the time are XXL and XXXL.

The black chic at the front end (sorry, I don't know her name) and Ford, a rock solid, farm raised kid...they are the reason that we will come back again and again and again! I never knew buying a cattle gate was such an ordeal. But these 2 exceptional young people truly made it easy. I don't want to sound cheesy...so just go for yourself. Oh and they have a travelling vet on Sundays.

I love a Tractor Supply. The Gloucester store is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. It's a great place for me to find v- belts, pulleys, and welding supplies. Looking forward to the new Yorktown store.

This place is great. Everything you need is here all in one location. You need some nuts and bolts, it's here. You need a new jacket and hat, it's here. You need to get medicine for your dog, yes it is here. Chainsaws to bird food, fireplaces to horse supplies. Get your kid a mini bike, get your dog some food. Buy your wife a scarf, get some bird seed for your feeder. As far as that goes get a feeder for your seed. This place is great you'll love it.
