Southern States - Gloucester Store

Been doing business with Southern States since my parents built their home in Gloucester. Purchased their professional Shade Park seed, time release 18-8-8 fertilizer and time release lime to reseed the parents home place. Last time I did this was when we planted the first yard in 1981 using seed and supplies from Southern States. Photos attached.

The staff is super knowledgeable. Especially the woman that takes care of the garden center, she was super helpful! There is a shop dog here too! Store is clean and organized well. Lots of selection of seeds at affordable prices! You won't go wrong stopping in! Enjoy!

Had a problem with a Stihl trimmer. Was expecting a 2 week wait. Was informed probably 1 month wait time. I told them I didn't want to take it elsewhere because I had purchased it there. Being a small problem, they fixed it while I waited. Would highly reccomend. I know I'll be back.

Used to carry a more diversified inventory, still carry the basics for the home farm and horse lover. Tractor Supply is their closest competitor but in general they target different needs and Southern States is less expensive on most items.
