I was here one time about 3 years ago with my mom, sister, and nephews, we went to the Gloucester beach park right near by to have some beach fun by the York River, then afterwards, we came here to try their ice cream!! Very friendly staff and clean, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere! I was daring and tried a flavor that not too many people have heard of, I had their special Avocado ice cream with chocolate chips, I'm not going to lie, it was actually very good! Also, I got to try a sample of this Old Bay Crab one that they had, which seemed a little strange at first, but it was good also!! This is a great place to get ice cream if you're in the Gloucester VA area!!

A 5 star ++++ experience! This ice cream shop is amazing! First off, the shop is uniquely and beautifully decorated in delightful 'antique and ice-creamy' nostalgia kitsch. There is a really great layout inside and outside for relaxing on-site and enjoying your treat. Clean counters, tables, bathrooms, all! Second, the staff is so friendly, amenable, and courteous. Last, but most importantly, an abundance of flavors are available with some of the best waffle cones we've had. Generous portions AND delicious product for an amazingly reasonable price. Who knew? Well, now you do!Parking: AmpleWheelchair accessibility: Really nice ramp and good accessibility at counter and main floor tables.

Fantastic ice cream and service. The young lady that served me apologized when a payment method didn't work, even though it was my phone, and proactively offered a cup when my ice cream was in danger of falling over while shuffling hands for my wallet. Plus offered very pleasant conversation during the transaction. I eat ice cream approximately 52 times a year and this is hands down the best experience I've had in an ice cream shop!

Have driven by several times and finally stopped by this past weekend - ice cream is homemade in many flavors with tubs to-go available. I had the seasonal eggnog and peppermint mocha flavors and both were amazing. My daughter loved it, too. It's in a cute building with lots of antiques, and has outdoor seating if you are traveling (as we often do) with your dog. Will definitely stop by again when we are on Route 17!Parking: About 20 spotsKid-friendliness: Great for kids. Bathroom was clean.

Found this ice cream shop several years ago and never fails to hit the spot on a Summer night. They make homemade taste ice cream. If you are in Gloucester; then you must stop and grab a scoop or two.

I got the non dairy option since I forgot my lactaid pills. The Peach Sorbet? Amazing. My friend adored the Honey Lavender. Other friend loved the Oreo Cheesecake ice cream. I also got a ham and cheese bagel sandwich and it was SO GOOD. The dough for the bagels is homemade and is on point. Friendly staff. Be patient if you order a bagel, but it’s so worth the wait. I forgot to take the pic of the sandwich until I’d already eaten half, and the ice cream was devoured before we thought to photograph it.

I went to shortline ice cream on 4/14/24; for the first time after seeing it a few times on the food Network and passing it for years. To my surprise the ice cream was amazing and so was the service. We've been here a couple times and it always pleases us. I have tried the peach, blueberry cheesecake, and the honey lavender. You can tell that it is made with real ingredients by the taste. It can get pretty busy in high season, but it is worth it. There are also lovely antiques to admire while you wolf down a cup or cone of ice cream. Best creamery in the area!

I really enjoyed the cozy home feel of the ice cream parlor. The staff were very friendly and they have a great outdoor area with corn hole and adirondack chairs to relax in. Great place to meet up with friends!

Ice cream spot located on the main highway of Gloucester in an old converted home. The flavors are all made in house. And there are unique options to choose from.Because of such unique flavors it would have helped if they provided samples. When I arrived mid-afternoon I was informed they were no longer offering samples (due to running out of spoons?).I opted for the birthday cake which was described as "Cake Batter with rainbow sprinkles" and the mocha coffee. I've had more flavorful cake batter ice cream at a different ice cream shop, The mocha coffee was alright, ... actually it was good; however, the chocolate overpowered the coffee flavor which was barely there.Bathroom: There are two single use bathrooms. One for males the other for females. The trash was overflowing but generally the bathroom was pretty clean. Also there was NOT a changing table in the women's.

Very good ...lots of choices!! They offer their filtered water at no additional cost...... Google has asked me to update my review so this is as of 3/16/23 still amazing ice cream. lots of choices of flavors of ice cream and now they have added prepared food like pizza, sandwiches etc as well, menu is in one of the pics I posted. great service as well! 👍🏼

While exploring Gloucester and Mathews counties my wife & I stopped in for a treat. We got a couple of double scoop cups with their Butter Brickle, Banana, and Candy Bar Blast. All tasted really good with the banana & butter brickle coming out on top. The ladies behind the counter were super nice to us also.

My 2 aunts, 3 uncles, cousin , daughter and I make it a point to come at least once a week! They make the ice cream in house and it's creamy and super delicious!!!! Many flavors to choose from, even dairy free ice cream. I recommend the all American sundae I got mine with red velvet w/ chocolate chip ice cream!!!!

Fantastic! Excellent service and delicious ice cream. (Who knew there could be 3 different varieties of blueberry ice cream?? Traditional, which was still unique; blueberry goat cheese--wish I had tried it; and blueberry pancake!) The line was all the way to the door when we arrived, but they are a very efficient bunch in there and moved us through quickly with big smiles. No photos, we ate it too fast! 🙂
