First time visiting this place and it was during the Daffodil Festival 2024. I am from the area and my wife loves popcorn so we were quite excited to see what the hometown gourmet popcorn store had to offer. When we walked in, it wasn’t too busy, even one of the ladies behind the counter said it was the most down time they had all day. We were in awe of all the flavor choices, and since they offered samples, we wanted to try some of the ones we had never seen before. There was one staff member assigned to help us, and she looked irritated the whole time. She did not have the answers to prices and when we ask to try a sample she seemed to feel very inconvenienced in retrieving it. As we were trying flavors, another customer walked up and asked to sample something. The staff member said “I’m trying to get to you, but I can’t” and motioned towards us discussing our choice in the flavors we wanted. When we decided on one, the staff member took from the bottom of the bucket, and mixed two other flavors in an attempt to make the flavor we requested. Once home, we tried the popcorn and it tasted nothing like what we sampled. We felt rushed, and as if we were an inconvenience for being there. Highly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Update: 2023 a lot has changed since our first stop here. I've been back twice. I have regretted it both times. The staff is usually teenagers who either don't know information about the store they work at or don't care. We understood that Christmas just passed and y'all were low on supply, but when asked when do you think the flavors will be back in to have a reply of, "I don't know, but I'm not on the production staff" the way she said this was she either wants to be on that staff and is resentful or doesn't like the production staff. Just void of the friendly vibe it use to have. Also, no one wants to go to a small town shop and have rap/dance party music so loud you can't hear the person you came in with. Also this is the 2nd time that the price of our bucket refill was NOT RIGHT. This was a nice hometown place, not anymore.What an amazing place. The staff was SOOOOO friendly! This is a pretty cool place that the better half could just get lost in for days (she loves popcorn) they let you try whichever flavor you want so stop by, say hi, chat with friendly people and have some popcorn 😁

Love the popcorn here, and love that they have dietary accommodations - gluten free, vegan, dairy free options! You MUST try the cinnamon roll!

Popcorn is outstanding but...pricing keep going up and it's becoming unaffordable now. One 3 cup bag is almost $5. Shipping is also way too expensive. I will not be ordering online. If I'm in the area, a few bags are OK for a treat but I won't be ordering online as I did before. It's good but it's not worth the prices they are charging now.

Maggie is so amazing and awesome I love her energy and I got four snack sizes on sale for mini size price I got banana bread, flavors and daffodil mix flavors and cold brew caramel flavor and cookie monster flavors. They’re on sale that’s awesome thank you guys for being so amazing. These four packs costed me $10.

Always friendly staff and of course great tasting popcorn. My dog, Bailey, will literally ONLY eat NNPB popcorn … she will not touch microwave, store bought nor air popped lol

My only complaint is that there are too many crumbs if you buy a flavor for which the bucket is less than 1/3 full. I think you should find a way to separate crumbs from whole popcorn.

Love, love, love this place. Patty is a sweetheart! The flavors of popcorn are outstanding! Sausage gravy and biscuits?!?! Who’d have thunk?!?! LoL Do yourself a flavor and stop in and pick your favorite!!

Very good customer service and thePopcorn was excellent. Their tasting samples were quite large so you can really get the taste of the popcorn. They have online service and shipping. Try it out if you’re in Gloucester, VA.

We love going to NN popcorn. Our recent trip was to purchase popcorn for a family trip. As always, it did not disappoint. The employee that helped was very sweet and patient while I made my selection.

I love popcorn and have tried flavored popcorn where ever I have seen it across the country. But Northern Neck popcorn is the best hands down!! The staff is friendly and absolutely amazing. They are the treasured find of Gloucester courthouse!

Their popcorn is fairly good and fresh. We tried the chocolate peanut butter and caramel flavors. Caramel was good but we thought the chocolate peanut butter could have been more flavorful. Definitely pricey. We had a gift certificate; otherwise, I wouldn't have purchased more than one small bag. I've had other flavored popcorn from other companies that was tastier and costs less. Not knocking it...just wasn't up to par with some others I've tried.

Rented a place in Kilmarnock two years ago. We were waiting to get food at a bbq place when I looked over and saw their shop. Love popcorn and had to check them out. Very nice people and knowledgeable about their product. Their popcorn was amazing. And since then we have been ordering it every couple of months. Love it!

Such a fun experience. There are so many different flavors and the opportunity to try before you buy. There is definitely something for everyone. During the Christmas holiday they have a gingersnap popcorn that is off the hook tasty. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very enthusiastic. I will return again and again!

So many flavors and they taste like what they say! Some of the combos may seem weird but once you taste them it's mind blowing! The staff is both knowledgeable and courteous and never shy away from letting you try anything and everything you want! Remember to bring the tin back for a huge discount!

I wish I could give this place all the stars. We were passing through town and stopped at Olivia’s for lunch. Our waitress recommended we stop by and I am so glad we did! They have a dazzling array of flavors for every palate. The two ladies were super helpful and sweet. Just go.

Spent alot of time there yesterday with my family of 4 adults & 1 kid. The flavors are amazing!! Really appreciate being able to truely sample before buying. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for and more!!
