Great place, highly recommended! Checked this place out for a dirtbike trip and was glad we did. Awesome singletrack ranging from novice to expert. Stayed in a yurt which was very nice, well equipped, and central to miles upon miles of great riding. Kudos to Jared and his crew for taking time to show my group around. We returned the favor by teaching them a thing or two on how to hill climb ;) Skip the Hatfield trip next time and check this place out instead!

WOW! This place is top notch! Yurt was really cool very clean and had everything we needed. The owner took the time to show us around on the singletrack and they have mild to wild. Really liked that the trails are right there at the campground and didn't have to ride on the highway or double track like Hatfield's. Thank you for all your hospitality!! Will definitely be coming back!

Our wedding was held at Kairos Wilderness Resort in October, and it was an absolute dream! We rented all four yurts for family to stay in while in town for the wedding, and it was perfect! The folks that work the venue side of things are fantastic! They were always super helpful! The coordinator (Sylvia) made wedding planning stress free. She also catered and the food was delicious! Not a single complaint! I highly recommend this place for your wedding! Did I mention the views are perfect?!?

This is the perfect place for off road vehicle adventures, quality family time and camping. The trails here can accommodate practically any off road vehicle and there are some sections that are quite challenging! The entire property is beautiful and well maintained. It's rural location makes for a real escape from everyday day and is well worth the effort to get to.

Didn't stay in the campground, but the facility is great, good people, and great riding. Looking forward to many return trips. Couple of notes, the entrance road is steep, but I had no issues driving my 75 foot long Toter/Trailer combination in and out. Plenty of great parking in the main field. The bathhouse is clean and plenty of hot water to get cleaned up after a fun day of riding.Safety: There was an injury during our event that required medical services. The Kairos team did a great job of assisting throughout the situation to make it go as smoothly as possible.

Kairos is a great place to explore on a dirt bike. Everything from wide SxS trail to single track. Trails range from light intermediate to very tough. Wet weather can be tricky as there is a fair amount of red clay...gets a little greasy in places. There is a little store, running water access and a bathhouse. If you have to travel a way to get there, do yourself a favor and plan a couple days to explore!

If you want to go and have a good family fun time DO NOT go here. We booked Friday night through Monday and after our group being verbally assaulted at 1130pm, at night by another guest, who came into our campsite, we were the ones asked to leave and not the aggressor. We were also asked to turn off our music at 10pm when quiet time is displayed and listed on the camp rules as 11pm to 8am. This camp grounds miss use of the WV police services was also astounding and uncalled for. The police officers, who were called by the owner, were asked to drive 3 hours one way to ask us to leave early, when all the camp ground staff had to do was come talk to us. We would have left, why would we want to stay where we are not wanted. They even let our kids think they were going to be able to ride that day, giving them undated passes for their bikes knowing we were going to be asked to leave.

I just came back from my fourth trip to Kairos. Over the years whenever I get the opportunity on social media to brag about this place I do so. I love the trails and campground. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. They do a great job of tending to the bathrooms. All off road parks have a major obstacle of keeping up with the mud the customers track in. Some of the campsites are snuggly packed together but the lower numbered sites are ideal.

I have been here twice now, (driving all the way from Erie, Pennsylvania.) As someone who loves hard enduro, single track and big hill climbs, this place has it all. One of my favorite places to ride and camping here is nice too. First time we stayed in the Yurts which are super nice, second time I stayed in my camper van. Owner is very accommodating to dirt bikers.

Awesome off-road resort. They have everything for dirt bikes from single track, creek trails, hill climbs and beginner trails. It’s a big resort so you never feel like your running into anyone. You’ll often see sxs’s and 4wheelers. The resort itself is amazing and family friendly. The campground is clean and the bathhouse is well maintained. I’ve never ran into a issue with it being muddy, and that’s impressive for an off-road resort. The resort feels secluded as your traverse up a mountain to the resort. You’ll often find deer on your early and evening rides which is really cool! The staff are all amazing and helpful. The office has some basics like wood, ice and snacks. I did notice some tubes for dirt bike tires in case you had a flat. I’ve always enjoyed my stay at Kairos and they’ve treated me great.

We love Kairos! They have some of the best dirtbike riding on the east coast. There is everything from flowy single track to hard enduro creeks and big hill climbs. The campground is great , there is ice on site as well as some snacks and bike parts. Everything is upkept really well. There’s dumpsters to throw your trash in on the way out. The wildlife is unreal , deer will walk through camp as well as other critters so hide your bread!! We rode for two days with one of the owners Jared and still didn’t get to see everything. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will be back for more !!

Definitely take your time getting to the top where the campground is, it's not the easiest entry for an F350 hauling a 44ft fifth wheel, but once you get to the site it is AMAZING. Clean, well spaced sites set between trees with plenty of room to relax. Mike, and Mercy the dog, was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We only stopped to stay one night on our travels but we are already planning a trip back to spend some time exploring. The New River is a short drive down and looks like it would be perfect for fishing, and there are trails for ATV and dirt bike riders. We cannot wait to go back!

This was the first place my wife and I went when we started riding. The customer service was amazing. One of our atvs broke down on the trials and they came over and fixed it on the spot! Definitely planning a n coming back soon. The Small yurt we stayed in was also super cozy and nice!

All the previous reviews are true....wonderful place for outdoor enthusiasts. Beautiful scenery and wildlife everywhere. However, no one tells you about the 2 mile trek straight up a one lane, gravel, pothole filled road you have to take to get to it. Your camper will be covered in dust as well as anything you leave outside. Noisy all day long. We only picked this place because we could not find a place anywhere else. Thought we would give it a try. The wifi is only available in the office, so we could not use our TV for streaming. Bathhouse showers were covered in mud or no shower head. The staff is very friendly.

I had an amazing stay in a yurt at Karios resort. The yurt was beautiful, and had everything we needed to relax for a weekend. We traveled with two Tesla’s, and the owner let us charge the car with the RV which was super convenient. So one car would charge, and the other one took us up to the yurt. They had a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous wedding venue area that overlooked a mountain, and they were having Amish builders build a reception area. It was incredible to see how the building was being done. The owner was a real salt of the earth man, and his kindness really stood out to us. He was so thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I can’t say enough about this place. Also, the yurts are decorated very stylish. I loved everything about this place.

We visited labor day weekend and it was an awesome trip. Trails were fun, good mixture of rock trails, mud trails. We brought our 36 foot camper, rented their side by side equipment all weekend. Even though there were hundreds in the parking lot, it was rare to run into anybody on the trails. I was very impressed. Staff was very nice. Can't wait to go back.

Phenomenal stay in the 6-person yurt at Kairos over Valentine’s Day weekend. Mike who helped setup the reservation and checked us in is simply one the best people you could hope to meet and is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had to cancel our trip earlier in the year and he helped me rebook for no charge. The yurts were very comfortable and well kept and we had a great time hanging out around the fireplace and walking around the nearby trails. 5/5 would definitely recommend staying here.

The owners are fantastic and are always making sure that you are having fun without being intrusive. The campsites are nice and fairly level, hookups are easy. The trails are well made and really fun. There isn't much single track yet, but they are making more, and what is there is great and flowy! This is a perfect location to set up camp for dual sport rides. The only thing missing is a small general store on site, but there is a gas station at the end of the road, so not a big deal.
