Tony was excellent, completed everything quickly, and for a bigger job that took most of the day, the price was extremely reasonable. We had the old copper lines that were leaking removed, new shutoffs put in, studs that had to be cut and replaced, and new fixtures for one of the bathrooms put in as well as new lines run for both. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again for any future issues!

Although the appointment window came and went without any sort of notification from the company, a quick call helped to relieve the curiosity of if help would arrive that day. That being said, the technician who arrived by the name of David was an absolute breath of fresh air from the previous plumbers that I had contacted in the past. First and foremost he treated me like a person, he kept me informed about what he was doing as well as his thoughts along the way as to what the issues could be, and he left after completing the job without the need for a follow-up.My favorite quality of David is that he did what no other plumber even suggested -- look underneath the house for a possible issue. Brilliant. This resulted in locating the clogging problem that I was experiencing (a bowing pipe, or as David musingly and accurately said the pipe "had a belly". I felt like my dad was teaching me how to take care of my home which meant the world to me. Thank you so much David!This was my first time using R.J. Tilley Plumbing & Remodeling, Inc. and it will not be my last. Definitely recommend for reliable, quality service. As a tip: take the full day off instead of relying on the window time provided, but overall the quality workmanship and kind technicians are more than enough to make up for the wait. Had an emergency clog on Friday. Decided to hire this company to fix the issue on Sat. David returned calls promt. When he arrived he was professional, easy going, down to earth guy that tried his hardest to correct the issue we had. We have an extremely small crawl space and David made his way thru it and came back out extremely dirty. When the clog wasn't fixed after numerous attempts he tried something different. Eventually the clog was fixed in a timely manner. David gets 5 stars and r j tilley has a repeat customer now solely because of David's work ethic.The answering service people were just a typical call service. I want to start by saying thank you so much to everyone at R.J Tilley. I’ve had a huge string of bad luck with my home plumbing and it felt like every week I was calling. Everytime I’ve called I’ve always had genuine, professional kind responses to fix the issues that has occurred. I want to thank everyone at R.J Tilley and those who came out to fix the issues with the plumbing at my home. The prices are great, the care they take for your home to rectify the issues are phenomenal. Thank you to Dave, Dave, Cindy, Tony, and Mark. Also want to say a huge thank you to the President of the company Steven. When I had no way to turn off the waters main at the street, he came out his way to help me find another way to turn the water off. I had the fire department with about 8 guys who came to try and turn the water off and we was unable but Steven came out to help me find another main in the home and was successful. Any issues that wasn’t fixed was promptly fixed. Thank you to everyone and thank you Steven for being so high up but so down to earth and caring for your customers/employees. Verizon drilled a hole through a drain installing internet into my home. Called R.J. Tilley to help fix the damage and they scheduled a plumber to come out the next day. The plumber that came to repair the damage was amazing and the price was fair. Would recommend them to anyone and I will be using them for future services.

They quoted me a price of $18,000.00 to put in a 4 foot by 3 foot tile shower. Nothing fancy, nothing special, just a nice middle of the road tile shower. Yeah, I'll be doing it myself.edit: Just spoke with the owner(?), Steve, who was a very nice guy and was extremely knowledgeable. We talked over all the costs, the how and whys. Unfortunately it's just more than I can afford.update: I had some contractors in from a competing renovation company to patch some drywall and we started talking about the shower and the quoted price. They were in shock. One gentleman who was an accomplished contractor for the last seventeen years told me flat out it shouldn't cost more than $6k-$7k (after having seen the space and measured it himself).

Just before Christmas, the main water line from the meter to our house burst somewhere. We had no water and after many phone calls and requests for service, R.J. Tilley showed up to give us an estimate and were prepared to fix it for us the same day! Yesterday we had an emergency backup at our office that was a total nightmare. I called several other plumbing services and they said it would devastate at least 4 business days before they could come. But then I called RJ Tilley I couldn’t be happier! They sent a knowledgeable and friendly repairman to my office within the hour. He singlehandedly blew out our drainage system, fixed the back flow issue, and even mopped the bathrooms in less than two hours. Seriously, left both bathrooms looking better than they did before the incident. And best of all was the fantastic pricing! I rarely write reviews, but no one beats them! Yesterday evening a pipe burst open while I was attempting to loosen the water line to our kitchen sink. I called RJ Tilley and someone actually answered the after hours line. I was put in touch with the on-call plumber (Tony), who made it to our home in about half an hour. Tony is incredible! He immediately assessed the damage and was able to solder the pipe with a new valve. He had me turn the water back on and waited to ensure there were no leaks. This was done in less than an hour. Tony was kind, courteous and professional. He also gave me a few pointers on handling the copper pipes. We are so grateful to Tony snd RJ Tilley. They are now our plumbers. Sewage backup in my home since Wednesday. Called them on Wednesday and made appointment for Friday. They called at 2PM Friday to tell me that since my septic tank is private and not public that I need to clean my septic tank first before they come. That's fine and all but they wait all day to call and let me know that plus when I made an appointment they should have told me then. So here I am at 2:30PM looking for a septic service. R.J. Tilley came out and installed a new Toto Drake toilet for us and we could not be happier with the process. The installer that came to our house was professional, knowledgeable, and conscientious. He was able to answer all of our questions and explained everything that he was doing and why. After he had completed the job he made sure that any mess that was made during the installation was completely gone. He basically mopped the bathroom floor. I had used R.J. Tilley for jobs in the past and would not hesitate to contact them again for any job large or small.

We have been waiting to become empty-nesters before remodeling our guest bathroom that also served as the children's bath.From the beginning we knew RJT was the right choice. They were responsive to our request for quotes, honest about the pricing and flexible with the scheduling. The project came in on time and within budget. Lisa is a wonderfully talented designer who opened up on a Saturday (they are closed to the public on that day) to spend a couple hours with us selecting materials and fixtures. I had a horrible sewage line blockage last week that caused a mess in my basement. I calle R J Tilley and they sent two plumbers out. They had a big job getting into the pipe and getting the blockage cleared but they stayed polite and professional the whole time. They cleaned up when they were done and gave me some helpful plumbing tips. I’m so happy with the quality of service that I received and would recommend them highly.

From the moment we first walked into their showroom, we felt we were in capable hands with positive suggestions being made and allowing us to make decisions without being pushed into something we might regret. I had the company come out on Friday to evaluate for a high water bill. The representative was there for just under an hour conducting the inspection during normal business hours. There was nothing found and no repairs were made. The service bill alone was $113.00. Upon calling, they said that is their cheapest service charge. I do not believe something should be free, however i do believe it should be a more reasonable fee.They recommended another company American Leak Detection ($450) just to come out and they DO NOT do the repairs, only locate.

I was charged $120.00 for 20 min of nothing. RJ Tilley came to my house looked at the leaky pipe took a picture and left. I called them back and told them it must be nice getting $120.00 for 20 min. I consider that being robbed with out a gun.
