Best veterinary hospital I have ever taken any of my pets to, hands down. The staff goes above and beyond and our vet is so compassionate. I had to take my cat for surgery and everyone there was beyond accommodating. They made me feel at ease and were very thorough in not only examining him, but explaining everything and what proper next steps should be. They now have clients for life. Thank you to everyone for their kindness during a very difficult time.

I have a diabetic cat that has been so well looked after and monitored by Pouncey Tract Veterinary. Can’t thank Dr. Frank and Abby enough for their expertise, kindness, and patience towards my “sweet” calico kitty. She is doing very well under their care. The front office staff are wonderful and always helpful!! Pouncey Tract Veterinary Clinic is the best! Thank you all!!!

My fur baby was in need of help. We went to her old Vet, Urgent Care, and ER, with no relief for my baby. We gave Pouncey Tract Veterinary Hospital a try; desperate for help. They were all so friendly and helpful. They ran test and gave my baby some much needed relief… Finally! I am so grateful! We had all her records moved and will now be going here. Our new Vet.

The staff was friendly, efficient with checking in the fur-kids🐾🐾Gracie (my cat) and myself met with Dr. Frank. She took her time with us and listened to my concerns about Gracie. Gracie also came in for her yearly checkup & they also removed some mats from her fur. Great visit!! I highly recommend them.

Wow, this Vet is amazing. Amazing customer service. They were able to see my dog same day and all the staff were so sweet to her. We saw Dr. Krista Morris and she was amazing. They even followed up the next day to check in on Rosie. A++.

I’m heartbroken to share that our experience was drastically different than other reviewers. We just moved here last year and fur-baby was elderly and ill. We had been going to PTV for a year. We called Saturday informing them our beloved dog had a serious seizure and that he had to be resuscitated at home, we begged to come in and they couldn’t see us. He could not walk, eat, etc now. We said we would call on Monday for an appointment and they said that would be fine. He deteriorated over the weekend and when we called Monday to end his suffering, they said they couldn’t see us for a week due to staffing issues. They said they would send us home options to end his suffering immediately- NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN! We decided to drive 2 hours away to our previous vet, thank goodness they could help us. This is all after they did the wrong procedure on him 6 months ago. Do not trust this vet, they will not be there for you when you need them. Rest in peace to our beloved family dog and shame on this practice. Will be pulling our other animals too.

Dr Frank was engaged and seemed genuinely caring about my dog’s health. She was forthright and transparent about the next steps, and it made me feel fully informed and comfortable with the course of action that we landed on.Space was clean, front desk friendly, and they even called to check on my dog a day or two later. Love the staff and Dr Abby is kind and has always taken great care of my dog! (Only reason it’s not 5* is that it’s pricey, but to be in Short Pump area business’ almost have to be).PTV is a Really good place.

When we found Dr Morris and PTV it was unfortunately during very challenging times as our little shorkie was extremely sick and passing. She was so kind and understanding. She helped us understand our options guided us through the remarkably hard decisions that lay ahead. When our dog did pass in the emergency room of a hospital, she was the first one to reach out with her condolences.You have since adopted a new puppy, and they were one of the first stops we made. They are empathetic, understanding, and thorough. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

The staff goes above and beyond to ensure our dogs are treated with compassion and dedicated attention. Dr. Frank has a high level of expertise in biological science but her down to earth communication is what makes the difference. She keeps you informed and educated throughout the process but most of all has a tremendous amount of genuine care.Remember to dig dip and research your local veterinary hospital before you decide to bring your loved one there, they are not all equal. This location is the benchmark for exceptional animal care.

Everything about Pouncey Tract Vet Hospital is 5 stars. The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. They follow up with us just to check on our pup after visits. We really have enjoyed getting to know them. The techs are wonderful with our rambunctious girl and take the time to show us what we need to know.I can’t say enough about Dr. Frank. This is my first time owning a dog and she has been amazing from the start. You can tell she really cares about her patients. She is so kind, caring, and thorough. We feel completely at ease knowing Dr. Frank is caring for our girl.I highly, highly recommend Pouncey Tract Vet Hospital for all your pets!

We’ve been going to Pouncey for about 15 years now. I truly can’t say enough great things about the entire staff and all of the doctors. They go above and beyond. One staff went home and cooked chicken to try and get our sick dog to eat when she was boarded there. They have the utmost compassion for humans and animals alike. I always feel like they are treating my dogs as if they were their own pets. We mainly see Dr. Morris but Have seen others when necessary. It is worth the travel distance for the peace of mind we get knowing the quality of care our pets are receiving. We truly LOVE everyone there.

It's would be a lengthy summary of why I will never darken the door of this facility after 42 yrs...I lost two dogs within 2 months. Condolences card is supposed to make up for the damage and pain done? Abby who said " not my fault ( I hesitate to call her a doctor, she didnt catch cancer/wobblers/enlarged liver, the emergency vet did). My poor girld sent home with pneumonia and a partial lung collapse...no pain meds what so ever...oh gagpentin and we all know how well it works...it's akin from keeping pain meds away from a dying cancer patient due to worry of addiction. I would like the money I spent the entire year of 2023...that sounds a bit fair not enough but fair. For 42 years this was a stand up business...but they're more worried about cutesy credit cards I never used and up charging everything..high rate of turn over with employees due to Mrs.z overbearing attitude. Have a great vet now at half the price...so long...farwell...you could have done better for my best friends.But you failed on the highest level.

I took my little man Milo there after calling around trying to find some one to see him asap. The emergency vet doesn’t open till 3 pm and he wasn’t doing well at all and I was terrified. This hospital took him, treated him and kept me informed the entire time! He was there over night and came home about 30 hours later. I am so impressed with them and will recommend them to everyone!

It's always so wonderful going to our vet's office. The front desk ladies are friendly, the vet asst is happy to see my kitties and we LOVE Dr Morris. When she is in the room with us, she takes all the time we need to manage my cats' health. I never feel rushed and she takes my questions and concerns seriously. She's reassuring and a great Doc!

Everyone is so nice at this veterinary hospital. They are gentle with my dog. The exams are thorough, which I really like. Dr Abby is very caring and will see the things that I miss or don’t think are important. I am new at this office, having rescued my sweet dog just last fall. Such a wonderful practice! After working in the veterinary field, I am happy to say that I trust my pups 100% under their care! Dr. Frank is wonderful, caring, and patient! My lab is always apprehensive when coming to the vet and meeting “new” people, so when he did NOT growl or care too much when she was around and gave him vaccines, a physical exam, and treat his ear infection, I was AMAZED!! I wish I could give them more stars! Also shout out to the great assistants and vet techs who have helped us! Keep up the EXCELLENT work!!

Dr. Jade is very knowledgeable about the issues our sweet fury baby has. He has a history of seizures, after making some changes in his medication, he has gone a year without any!!! She shows great compassion towards him! She explains things in a way we can understand and feel comfortable. The staff is very professional and welcoming!
