I have went here for years and always loved it. But the last time was terrible! A nasty green BOOGER that was dried onto the salt shaker. We get our food (chicken) and it had weirdest smell. I still tried it but had a bad taste as well. I sent the food back respectfully, and was going to order something else. But the elderly waitress was so rude when I told her it had a foul odor, and then wouldn't even come back to take our order again.

Wanted to have a nice supper with the family. We received our cheese dip and it tasted burnt. We sent it back and that one also tasted burnt. Most of the food we ordered had cheese dip on it. They acted like it was us and said that all of it would taste like that. So we canceled the items with cheese dip and go the one dish to go. There was no apologies no discount for us leaving without over half our food. Didn’t even discount the $3 sodas that we only got because we thought we was eating there. Highly disappointed and will not return.

I stopped in for lunch. Great food! Great friendly service! Good value! It felt Mexican inside and the owner was serving and he's Mexican so very authentic. I would happily stop in next time I'm in the area!

The food is amazing.However I was a bit taken back when I saw a sign posted at the door saying their staff is not paid and the only money they make is their tip money. Surely that can't be right. Can it?

My son loves this place. Their service is great but the food isn't spectacular. It is bland and doesn't seem made to order. They did mess up my wife's order and fixed it quickly with no complaint. The salsa is fresh. The interior could use some attention and be better lit and appear cleaner.

Love, love , love this restaurant! Our family has been going to El Burrito Loco for several years and I don't think I have ever experienced a meal that wasn't great.One of if not THE best Mexican restaurants in the area!On the rare occasion that they were a little short staffed, they still did a great job. I've never had to wait for a ridiculous amount of time to get served, which happens frequently at large chain restaurants.Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

My family's go to Mexican place. Can get busy with Emory and Henry college close by. Weekends are usually busy nights. Can accommodate large parties. Food is consistently good. Service is great too. They do have a small patio of the side of the building. Never had any problems here.

This is our favorite Mexican in the area. They are occasionally slow when they get a huge Emory crowd, but family owned and very friendly. Our kids get Spanish lessons when we visit. Nice people and consistently good food.

Salsa was great. Fajitas good. Queso was a little cheese on a very sogy tortilla. Slow night and service was very slow, and long wait for food. Margaritas were excellent. Was concerned about cleaning of place. Probably won't return.

We ate here before and it was much better but our supper tonight was cool and bland my wife and I both had burrito grande's and the cheese wasnt even warm and the rice was really dry and over cooked. Our kids couldn't even finish half of their meals due to the fact they said it wasn't good. It absolutely was not worth the $42 we spent there and it will not happen again!

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! All their food taste amazing and fresh! All the employees are friendly and care about the quality of their food. Don’t forget to ask for the cheese dip when they bring you the chips and salsa!!!
