The clinic charges very reasonable prices which allows for even low income people to afford proper care for their beloved pets. Thanks for your kindness and level of care.

First time going today and Dr. Redwine gained our fur family for life! I just moved to town and valley view came recommended literally from everyone. Appointment was at 4 even though there was about 6 people in front of us we got in at 4:20 all the staff were professional and very kind! Dr Redwine was a truly great veterinarian, the way he explained things and his bedside manner is top notch! My dog was calm and comfortable with him which made the whole experience very good for me and Annie! Very good experience!

Pearl and I had a good experience at the very busy clinic.Pearl had a horrible cough from allergens.She is better and caught up on all vaccines.We thank everyone at Valley view and recommend them to everyone that loves their pet!❤️

My cat Sissy would have been 19 in May on March 7, I took her in for the 3rd time in 6 weeks she was not improving. That day I had to make a hard decision so I did what I thought was best for Sissy (after a lot of praying and crying) I let her go. The staff and Drs. was very compassionate towards me. I want to thank them and also my friends for being there for Sissy and me. I would recommend them to everyone that needs a vet.

Edit review: I had to change vets because they are strictly appointments only. My senior cat was dying and it was going to be a week before we could come in. She passed away under another vet’s care. They were good to get me in a couple of times, but there is never a guarantee. This is a good place to go for checkups and vaccines but I ultimately had to change my remaining 2 pets to a new vet because if an emergency comes up, they need to have a vet. They need a vet for more than vaccines and checkups.—My senior cat Lucy receives great care at this clinic. Dr. Redwine is so patient and caring with her. He keeps her in good health. She is 16 years old. It’s hard to find a doctor who will be as thorough in treating an older cat. I am grateful she has a good doctor and a good clinic to care for her.

My cocker spaniel suffered for almost two years with not only a constant ear infection but she was also losing her hair and constantly on antibiotics and ear drops. Her ear was smelling so bad . So I had made the decision to change the veterinarian and took her to Valley View Animal Clinic. They did a complete blood panel and told me her skin condition and hair loss was because of her having thyroid problems and that she could have an ear canal ablation surgery and that should eliminate the ear problem and help get more air into it. I am extremely grateful that her coat is back beautifully , no more skin infection and ear healed nicely after surgery. No more infection , no more smell and my baby is more alert and energetic since she has been on Thyro Tabs. Great Veterinarians. I I highly recommend them.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. All the veterinarians are knowledgeable and take good care of whatever your pet may be. And their prices for visits, pretty much everything, are very reasonable. Especially in the times we live at the moment. Highly recommend, and I will be going back again myself.

Staff is always friendly. But you can never talk to them on the phone they never answer it, and when you question them about it they just pretend like you didn't ask the question.!!! The phone deal is really aggravating!!!!!

Had my first experience with this vet clinic today and im so glad I decided to take my Xieva here! They were wonderful with my old girl during her senior exam! Staff was great. Prices were great. Not a single complaint. Even though they were very busy (and i could see why they are after my experience!) We were still seen fairly quickly. I will definitely be bringing her back!

I had a good review for this place, until they didn't even try to help my dog. He was a diabetic, (that they helped make him) hadn't eaten in 3 days was getting weaker and weaker. They said give him extra insulin and wait 3 days, he'll perk up and eat. Well he died, suffering in less than 24 hours. How long can you expect a small dog to live without food and can't even hold their head up to try to eat. The Dr said they had one just like him the week before and it got better. Well must not have been just like mine or it would have been dead. They could have at least looked at him before telling me what might help, patting him on the head and a good luck to you. They should have helped him die without suffering the last few hours of his life if they couldn't help him. I just had to get some of this off my heart. Haven't slept well since this happened. Good luck to all who take their pets here.

I have been taking my animals to Valley View for 30 years. Dr. Redwine has always given my animals the best of care and been very knowledgeable about their needs. Dr. Gilmer does just as well. The two issues I have are that you can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone and the women at the front are very rude and condescending and act like they are so miserable with their job!! There needs to be someone that sits up front at that desk for the full shift that they are open to take care of customers and answer the phone. I was at work today and my husband called to tell me that one of my cats was very sick. I called and called and called Valley View to see if he could run my cat over there and drop her off because this was at 4:30 pm and they close at 5:30 pm and I would pick her up tomorrow; but of course, there was no answer!! So, I had my husband to run her over there anyway. The lady out front was such a rude a** and told him that next time we needed to call and make an appointment! Well #1 Ya'll won't answer the dang phone and #2 this was an emergency so take my cat and stop being so rude!! I know they can afford to have someone sit up front and make sure that phone is being answered properly.

EDIT: Valley View Animal Clinic has placed a sign on the door stating lunch hours. I changed 3 stars to 4.The three star review is based on lack of information on the clinics hours and how hard it is to get in touch with anyone by phone. The staff and doctors are very friendly. It’s a very busy veterinary business. They make appointments and take walk in’s. However, getting in touch with them to make an appointment is impossible. 1st incident: I called numerous times on a Friday throughout the day with no answer and no voicemail was offered. After a bad weekend of my dog not being able to control her bowels, I was there when they opened on Monday morning. They gave her meds and she showed signs of improvement in a couple of days. 2nd incident: My dog was scheduled for a minor surgery on a Friday. She had 3 stitches, and I was told to bring her back in 2 weeks to have her stitches removed. They told me there was no need to make an appointment, just drop by anytime before 4:30. Two weeks later I took her back for the stitches to be removed. I was there at 12;30 and the door was locked. I waited 30 minutes and the door was still locked. Staff was clearly there., because there were several cars in the parking lot. There was no sign posted regarding lunch hours. Not a sign saying out to lunch, be back at a certain time, nothing. I checked the website to see if there was information about being closed for lunch between certain hours. There wasn’t anything on the website about l being closed during lunch hours. I called the phone number listed several times, but no answer and no voicemail option. Not knowing when they were opening back up after lunch or if they were going to open back up at all, I left. I did not get my dogs stitches out on the day they clearly told me to just drop in and they would remove them. I had two bad experiences, in a short timespan. My suggestion to remedy this situation would be to post a closed for lunch sign on the door with lunch hours listed. Also put that same information on your website.

We just adopted our first dog from the Scott Co. shelter and so we didnt have an established relationship with a vet anywhere. Dr. Redwine was recommended to us by someone at the shelter because she comes there with her pets. I couldnt have asked for a better experience getting my Lilly spayed. Was it hard, yes...was it some long nights yes...but now my Lilly is right back her old self, and its been 2 weeks and the incision is almost not visible. I just want to say thank you to the Doctor & Staff, it cant always be an easy job, but people love your office for a reason. Im glad to have found you and I will keep driving over an hour away for my sweet girl to see you. God bless you guys!

Made an appointment for our puppy to get his parvo and other shots. We got in pretty fast and the veterinarian was very nice and answered our questions. Everything went as planned and it was a fast service. I will say also very affordable for today’s economy! Thank you and we will be back! ❤️
