We have nothing but glowing opinions about the staff at Healing Springs. Our bulldog had to go in for surgery for both a cherry eye and a mammary cyst, surgery went great and it’s like she never had the cherry eye, with a speedy recovery and attentive care! Highly recommend entrusting your pet with the team here :)

I had a very sick cat and I tried calling both vets in Allegheny county and neither would see him and I called Healing Springs and they said they could see him that day and after I gave them all the details of the ailments they even bumped my appointment time up to get him there earlier than they 1st said. When I got there the entire staff was friendly and helpful the Dr Heather was kind and gentle I had to leave him overnight and they even said I could bring my other cat the next day to get his shots updated. I praise all the people there for being truly humane and will never take my boys anywhere else. Kudos Healing Springs

Dr. Summey and staff were very caring with my elder dog. Two offices in my town would not see her as she was not an established patient, even though I brought her into the office urinating blood. I’m honestly thankful I had to go elsewhere and will gladly continue to drive 40 minutes away from town for the best care at Healing Springs for all of my animals.

I've been going to Healing Springs for years. My grandma used to take our pets, a weiner dog and an applehead Chihuahua here when I was little. They were always extremely helpful and took great care with our pets, to ensure theyre comfortable as well. Im unsure if their pricing is good or not as I have no reference point, but a usual checkup with nail cutting runs me ~$50. Well worth it, in my opinion!

I can not say enough good things about Healing Springs!!! I was visiting the Galax area from Wilmington, NC when my precious 14 year old dachshund became very ill and had to be euthanized. I searched the internet for veterinarians and by divine intervention found Healing Springs. This is such a warm and caring medical office. They treated us as if we were regular customers and gave us the most positive and professional experience possible under very difficult circumstances. We saw Dr. Brazzell and she she was wonderful as was everyone that we encountered. This practice is special!!!!

This is the best place to take your pet if they need surgery. They offer after-hours for their patients which is better than having to drive to Winston and pay thousands at the animal hospital. The staff is nice and helpful and you can tell they take care of their patients. Several years ago my dog was brought in for an emergency after hours and they did not hesitate to go above and beyond and give her the care she needed. This vet can be a bit more costly than others, but it’s worth every penny.

They misdiagnosed my puppy said he had parvo, it's far from parvo he has worms really bad, we got advice from another place and done exactly as said. My fur baby was having treatment for parvo which I couldn't afford so they said that they have someone to pay for it but we would have to surrender our other 2 puppies. We couldn't do that so my parents an boyfriend came up with $414 to get him out. Well the lady was really rude as well as the nurse that brought him out, she looked at me an said you can give me my towel back now I'm taking it. Wow ok have at it I will never go back to this place,as I have seen they have done the same with 7 other puppies saying they had parvo an it was far from the cause!!

This place was amazing! They called after our cats surgery to give an update like they said they would, provided her with great care, and even followed up with us a few days after she had come home. No other vet has done that for us or our pets. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable, and we will definitely be taking our pets there in the future.

Everyone is so very nice. They give the option of getting your pet at my vehicle or allowing me to go inside with my pet. These options are so convenient!! They talk to me about my pet's health and needs.

The female vet that answered the emergency hotline was super nice at first then when she seen that we took our animals to their place and Galax vet as we have very busy schedules and take our pets to which ever has an open availability she became a total Karen and treated me like I was trash. Told me I should call them then . I have not been treated like that before and it was totally uncalled for especially when you have a very sick animal. There is no reason what so ever she should of acted that way . Total trash.

Always friendly , the app is super convenient to use , they don’t make you feel rushed and answer any questions you have, they even remembered our dogs names when we brought them back to board for the 2nd time, our dogs leave with them and don’t look back. We have both big and small animals and they treat them all great!

Very impressed with Healing Springs! From their receptionists to their DVMs - everyone here is super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help in any way they can.Dr. Dowell was very attentive to my elderly cat's health issues and created a plan that addressed all of my concerns.The parastaff was super helpful in an issue we ran into getting records from a previous clinic, couldn't have gotten it sorted out with you. Thank you guys!

We had a very sick, injured Gus whose former vet wouldn’t make time for in their schedule. Not only did Healing Springs make room for Gus, but they provided excellent after-care and went above and beyond what we ever expected. Now our 3 dogs are under their care and we are grateful.

Our 13 yo dog took a turn Saturday night and when I called after hours emergency number Sunday Dr Davis met us there Sunday morning. Lucy Mae went peacefully and didn't have to suffer until regular hours monday

I took my 6 month old puppy to this clinic with pain in her jaw. I was told she had ear infection, and abscess in her jaw. She was given antibiotics and drained abscess. After one week on antibiotics she was no better. I took her back to clinic , she was in horrible, excruciating pain. I was told I would need to take to another clinic to get ct scan, starting at 1500. I told dr she will need to be stabilized before I can put her through anything else, I was told they could not do that at their clinic. Dr Showed no sign of sympthy, compassion, or understanding for my situation. My puppy was in constant, screaming pain. . In due process, she had to be put to sleep. I paid to have her cremated. When I received her ashes, she was in a small pine box. No death certificate, no plaque showing her name, I had requested a lock of her hair, I did not receive. I felt very disrespected. I understand this clinic does this everyday, but not to my babies. They see it so much they become uncaring. But this is a one time experience for this particular pet, and it should be treated as if it was their first patient. I made a mistake by choosing this clinic. If I could give it a zero on review, I would definitely rate it zero. My puppy was disgraced and my losing her did not even receive an “I’m sorry”.

Dr. Jenkins, medical and office staff all worked harmoniously to assist with our animals needs. They were quick to respond, were organized, and knowledgeable, as well as caring. Despite a “full parking lot”, time was provided to us to allow for discussion and to answer all our questions, before we returned home. In addition, this is a consistent experience and well worth the 39 mile trip. Thank you.

I can’t believe the horrible service of this business. Almost every time I have gone here the service has been very rude and today was the last straw. We have purchased dewormer for our bunnies twice in the past and today, when I called to purchase more, they said they could not service us even though our bunny badly needs it because they have not seen the rabbit. The last two times I have purchased it was over the counter. When I told the receptionist this over the phone said “no you did not” repeatedly. She told me I was confusing them with another vet clinic. I told her I know exactly where they are located right across from the Healing Springs large animal and no I was NOT confusing them with another clinic. She continued to argue repeatedly with me that they have never done that. Customers mean absolutely nothing to this clinic and it showed today. What I said was totally irrevelant to them. It was extremely unprofessional not to mention horrible business conduct. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere for all future needs.
