I love Wegmans. The best breads (Garlic Tuscan and Miche Sourdough for the best Grilled Cheese Sandwiches), delicious, pastries and cheeses ever. The fresh food section is great with lots of tasty choices. Get the pizza! And the wine shop is hard to beat, giving Total Wine a run for their money. Cameron in the sub sandwich area was THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! He was very patient and accommodating with my 86 year old friend, and was super polite and helpful. He should definitely be in the running for employee of the month.

It was my first time there . What a store, there is all kinds of prepared food. Take home finish dishes. It is very clean and very well stocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to going back.The only very small down fall; and the store can't help is the rudeness and self entitlement some of the customers have toward others.

Excellent market with yummy prepared foods from many different backgrounds including sushi. Their produce section is huge and they have good prices. Lots of choices with natural and organic foods as well as alternatives to mainstream snacks.

Very large store. Oriental food at " salad bar " It's just okay, I'll pass next time. Very good selection of cheeses and breads, meats and seafood. The entire store is pricey.

This Wegmans location is a fantastic grocery store. They have an extremely large selection of many fresh goods including produce and meats. Their Deli cannot be beat and offers up selections that I can't find anywhere else such as wagyu beef and dry aged bison steaks. The Seafood is always fresh when I go to prepare it, and their dessert selection in the Bakery area is absolutely wonderful. I highly suggest the fruit tarts!

Shout out to their new employee Kathy at the Gainesville Wegmans in the wine department. My cider was discontinued and she helped me craft my own six pack to try some new ciders. She knew ciders quite well from her apple picking experience, and I loved every single one that she picked out so now I can find my new go to drink! She was so patient with me and excited to help. She is new to this location and I am so appreciative of her kindness. Wegmans fixes everything for you. I have been a regular customer at this location since they opened over 10 years ago and life isn’t complete without a Wegmans nearby!

5 stars for the cleaning lady (I should have gotten her name) it was around 11pm. My daughter dropped her poncho and we didn't realize it until we got to the car. I go back to look for it. The only person who actively helped me and ultimately found it was the cleaning lady. The "coordinator" who I was advised to ask for help by a kind gentleman that works there too. Was no help at all. Zero customer service skills.

Has a huge selection of cheese. On the more expensive side of the grocery stores, but does have quality stuff. Produce, deli, bakery and hot bar are next level, definitely very high standards going on, fun to walk through when it’s less busy, not as enjoyable when it’s packed with sassy nova moms so choose your timing wisely.

Very nice store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great selection of items in the Asian section. This store has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings. This store also has Red Jacket products. They are in the produce department in the cold box. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Amazing store, always clean and has a phenomenal amount of different brands. From their house brand to upscale. You can find it all. Also check out the Train over the dairy stuff.

WOW! I have never been to a Wegmans. What a treat!Visiting family in the area, and I honestly could shop there daily...which is the point of providing ready to cook (or reheat) meals. Fantastic produce.

***review for the bakery-hope they see it*** TO MY CELIACS AND GLUTEN INTOLERANT community. If you need a gluten free cake for an event - THIS PLACE IS LIKE THE MAGICAL PLACE TO GO!! I rarely write reviews but yesterday, I hosted an event and wanted a gluten free cake. I know that I have had amazing cakes from this Wegmans over the years but not gluten free. I only did a simple half a sheet of one side white/yellow and the other side chocolate with the whipped frosting ............ OMGEEEZZZZZZ I don't know what magic Wegmans did but that cake tasted ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! My guests also raved about the cake - you couldn't even tell it was gluten free (except for the fact you didn't get sick after eating it). It was soft and moist and a fan fave. If I host another event and need a gluten free cake - I will go no further!! This is my go to place. Also I don't know who can let the bakery staff know - whoever wrote on my cake has the most beautiful penmanship!!! The perfect dessert for my function. Thanks Wegmans bakery in Gainesville <3

I'm from the Southwest in Tucson, AZ and there is nothing like a Wegmans out in the Old Pueblo. It's like walking into a Farmers Market, Deli, Grocery Store, Restaurant, etc all rolled into one!! It was hopping!! We just stopped in to grab a plant so I didn't even have a chance to explore the whole store. Based on the service levels I received from the staff that were handing out samples I gonna hand a 5 Star! Loved the vibe in this store and would definitely shop here if I lived in Virginia! :))

Would be better if they didn’t play Maria Carey Christmas songs ad nauseum during the Holiday. That’ll drive anyone down their average revenue per shopper. Also this is the place if you need packages of cheese 5lbs and bigger and sh*t tons of dairy.Great quality food here. Deduct one star for not having Henry Weinhardtas Root Beer and Aforementioned holiday muzak choices.

So they charge more per each item bought when when we order online, charge us for gas, charge us for tipping and then charge us for updating their system. What a rip off!

Love this complete and very clean grocery store. Everything you need, you'll find it here. And all the meat are fresh and they have a full butcher service. And varieties of cheese and wine. I recommend this store at least try coming here and you'll be coming back over and over.

I bought the cheesecake on Thursday they couldn't find my receipt and had to trash a whole cheesecake because the manager don't know what the heck they are doing. This is my second time for something got bad and didn’t get help. It's really disappointing how Wegmans treating there customers like this. Literally 2 days ago and the dessert got bad meaning my $35 dollars went to the trash thank you Wegmans for the disappointment. Terrible management who doesn't know what they are doing 😡

The grocery store is great, has many many things of good quality. Pricing is good particularly on the Wegmans items.However the hot heat at the store food was disappointing. Not as many choices as the last time we were here, and they used to actually have a restaurant where they cook the food in front of you, and that's not here anymore.

Great deal on a spiral ham, .99¢ a lb!Still an amazing selection of foods, prepared and raw.Only paper bags for sale, no plastic.This place is an adventure! The bakery, seafood, deli and butchers are exceptional.

I was on a trip in April of this year to va from nc and visited this location. I purchased several of their carrot chips and got home from the 5 hour drive to find they had all expired in 2022 but were still on the shelves for customer purchase in 2023. I called the store to notify them and was told a $15 credit would be added to my account to use for a future purchase. The closest wegmans to me is a 2 hour drive. I finally made the trip to another location excited for use my credit only to be told my account was inactivated due to inactivity. Seems pretty shady to be told I’d get a credit issued and inactivate my account.extremely disappointed and will never go out of my way to spend another penny here. Should have known better when I first purchased product that had been expired for MONTHS

Love me some Weggies. Although grocery prices seem to be skyrocketing, you can still find reasonable prices at Wegmans unlike a lot of places. Craft beer selection continues to be very good along with the enormous inventory of every other grocery item available. My one and only complaint is that I can never find edamame in the pods.Update: Glad they moved to paper bags from plastic. More grocery stores should.

FLORAL DEPARTMENT EXCELLENT! I went to numerous floral shops and the flowers just weren't to my idea of quality... Came here and completely different story! Healthy and Beautiful Flowers! I was coordinating a bridal shower and had a certain vision! These ladies were on it and take pride in the quality of their flowers and it shows! We ended up having some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! They were very patient with me and took the time to provide excellent service and go above and beyond my expectation! I am definitely hands down coming here again! I also recommend them to friends and family!

My Son was right, they have better produce. The fruits and veggies are superb quality. They must have a really top notch quality control. I am seeing quantity and quality dwindle in most other stores. Still pretty good here. I drive the few extra miles to get fruits that last a little longer and taste good.
