One of the larger Dollar Tree locations, several customers have said they find stuff here that they don't see in most other locations. Everything is now $1.25.... but that's still well below the competition. Huge craft section. Big toy area. Tons and tons of of party supplies, and a large food section with plenty of variety. It's really a good place for discount shopping.

Someone needs to pay attention, may she isn’t the right person to the front end or customer service, no visual contact with customers cause she were in her own world with the phone, and I don’t mind the phone situation, but at least show respect to the person who you have in front of you. Hopefully somebody fix the issue.

Just Nasty. I have never been in such a dirty, unkempt, disorganized dollar tree before. From the front entrance to the bathrooms, filthy. All the good reviews must be paid or store family members. Noone in they're right mind would rate this store well.

A very nice dollar tree, especially in terms of selection! There is a wide variety with surprising finds. Stuff that is super expensive at craft stores you can find sometimes even in higher abundance per unit. Large candy section along with a lot of home goods, both tools and decorations. Staff is friendly and very helpful in our experiences

2/7/24 the lady at the register was very rude she was mad because i was paying cash and not apply pay she told me next time use card i’ve gone to other dollar general and they take cash and i made it easier having exact change. She did not have a name tag but terrible customer service.

This is one of the filthiest Dollar Trees in Northern VA. From the outside to inside. The older lady who I believe must be the manager is so rude to customers. I brought a couple of balloons that had already been blown up which I’m assuming that morning. Well the next day by 12 the balloons are deflated as far as not up in the air at all. I took them back to the store. The same cashier who I brought them from confirmed to the old lady that she sold them to me. I thought that would be enough. This lady disputed me about these 2 balloons. I couldn’t believe it. I also shared with her that she shouldn’t make the customer feel as a liar especially when the cashier confirmed. She still didn’t lighten up with her attitude. She put some helium in each ballon barely. I didn’t have the energy to continue with her. Unbelievable but most of all the customer service and attitude was just uncalled for especially coming from I believe the manager. No reason for it

This location has nice employees. Very helpful. The parking lot is creepy. No lights. Very dark at night. Not safe around that shopping center. Easy to be robbed. No security for the employees at night. Right off Rt 29. Continuous traffic and plenty of strange people watching you. The store itself has a large selection of products. Well kept. Need to hire more employees. They are always short staffed. This location needs a caring district manager and manager to push the issue of employees safety and customers safety. Very dangerous for females at night.

Disappointed that all dollar tree stores raised their prices dramatically. This store has a huge selection. Fun shopping here. Great food selection. Management or the owner of the lot has no regard for public safety. The parking lot has no ample lighting for nighttime. Too dark in their parking lot. I addressed a few employees about this problem because I usually bring my disabled Mother and her safety is my concern. The employees are not bothered by the lack of adequate lighting and none of them relayed my concerns to a manager.

I am Miss Rojas. I usually go to this store about 3 times a week searching for my snacks (plantain & bagel chips) Today April the 20th I was well impressed to see how the store looked. I approached an employee that she is always working on the floor and I asked her if they were more employees working at this place, the store looked very nice and clean and well organized. She told me she has been working very hard to make the store looking in this way. The employee’s name is Sharmin. This store was a complete mess!!! If you have anxiety I would not recommend shopping here they have boxes stacked high in any corner they can fit it, I believe the owner over orders a bit. It's super small and way to over crowded.

Went in today and was completely caught off guard with not dirty and disgusting it was! There were toys and trash littered all over the floors, especially in the valentine and toy isles. I have never seen a dollar store this bad in my life. They had only been open for a couple hours when I visited, so I assume the mess was not just from today's customers. It made me want to hurry up and get out as fast as I could. The cashier was sweet though.

Shop here often for supplies and many needs of friends, family, and business. As a retailer I don't like to walk in late to any establishment right before it closes but work ran late and I needed a quick dinner. As I was grabbing items @ 9:50 pm. a young gentleman who was at the cashier runs back and says we close in 2 seconds. Arms full I said ok I'll be right up. I rush and grab what I need and get to the cashier and he starts heckling me about being right on time as they just closed. I look at my phone after I put my items down and it's 9:55. I say it's 9:55 your website says you close @ 10. Well then the website is wrong isn't it. You're the last customer aren't you glad to be the last customer? Thank you sir for being the last customer. I really appreciate you being the last customer congratulations! I said no problem. As soon as I turn to walk out he screams and we're closed! Definitely not the way you treat customers. If you don't like what you do then go work elsewhere. Don't tarnish a store because you have a bad attitude!

I went to this Dollar Tree today. I typically get good service here, and they usually have good finds. Today was a different and disappointing experience.I was returning 9 items and purchasing 3. I've never returned anything at Dollar Tree before. So, I didn't realize that their policy is "no returns, only exchanges of the same number of items."The young lady, Tamara, who helped me, was very nice, but I didn't understand her explanation of the policy. I couldn't understand why she was telling me that I was only getting a reimbursement for 3 items, when I was returning 9 with a receipt. I finally got what she was trying to tell me. By this time, she called the manager, Surrender, to complete the transaction, and the line was starting to get long.Surrender was rude and VERY condescending. She rudely told me that "This had always been their policy." I told her that while I now got that, I didn't know that before. I asked her to cancel my transaction because the line was getting long and I didn't want to bother anyone, since I now needed time to go through the store to find out what I wanted as an "exchange" for my items.She very rudely did what I asked and shoved my items at me. She missed returning 1 item and my receipt. I asked for my item, she shoved it at me. I asked for my receipt, she said, "no," but then gave it to me when I questioned why I wouldn't get my receipt back.Surrender needs to "surrender " her rudeness and learn proper customer service. It's disgusting to me that she's actually the manager. She embarrassed me in front of the other customers and treated me as if I were being rude and unreasonable to her. I maintained my composure, even though I was treated so rudely.There is absolutely no excuse for this type of rudeness or lack of professionalism, especially from someone being called, "manager;" not even at Dollar Tree. I would have given them a -5, if not for Tamara and the cashier who ultimately rang up my "exchange."

ATTENTION BEWARE now DOLLAR TREE is not $1.25 anymore they have things for different prices up to $5.00,it is ridiculous because its products has not TAGs, so you reach their register to find out what price is what ,full disclosure is what the retailers owns to their consumers otherwise is just another switch and bait practice on top of that some of their stuff is more expensive than Walmart,, RIP Dollar Tree and their NOT so ethical practices

I went in for kids crafts and 2 of the 6 packages I needed were in good shape. I asked the employee if he could discount the items since the packages were either missing items or the items were broken he said nothing could be done. Then attempted to sell me these items at full price and I then told him no I wasn’t interested I them damaged items at full price. Maybe if he was in any way a friendly person it wouldn’t have left such a bad taste in my mouth but man please give your employees some customer service training to be nice.

Employees are nice; however there is ONE social distancing marker on the floor and it is not enforced. Soccer moms with their out-of-control little sugar demons made this a VERY bad shopping experience. People weren't distancing or watching their kids. Store was fairly organized. Not enough carts. No attempt to disinfect the carts or baskets by the staff.

I know this store is brand new and still super clean but it is HUGE in comparison to other local dollar stores. Staff is so much more friendly, aisles are nice and neat. The selection is by far the best and bigger than others. Who needs a walmart or grocery store when you can find just about ANYTHING at this location. Obviously everything is a dollar but I noticed the items were more normal size in comparison to what you would find in other stores (meaning ounces or whatever) and I saw more brand name stuff.And for it being a brand new store, I was expecting an overflow of lines at the cash register like most places but this one barely had a wait even with a lot of people in the store.Just overall, VERY VERY nice store. I will definitely be back!

Great customer service. One line was backed up and a male employee jumped right on the register. We've been needing a dollar store in Gainesville. They have a great variety of everything including a great card section, party decor, dishes, and food.

The worst Dollar Tree in terms of staffing. There is never enough cashier's in store on Sunday. One cashier all the time. Just left all my items. Never made it to the register. Counted at least 20 people in line that stretched to the back of the store.

Very neat and well organized store. Employees very helpful! The only problem I have with this store is their is only one cashier at all times of the day! Which means a long line of 5 to 6 customers waiting to check out!I think this is totally ridiculous ! The Warrenton store always has plenty of cashiers!

This Dollar Tree must have been a pharmacy first. This was my first time here. Everything was well stocked, shelves neat, and the cashier was very friendly. I live in Fairfax and this one was in Gainesville. I am not sure I would drive out here every week though.

I guess it's because they're trying to keep labor cost down because everything is so inexpensive. But my gosh 8 people in line , quick check out , impossible with only one cash register open. However Dollar Tree gets the job done. So, I'll leave it up to you, if the inconvenience is worth the savings. As for this consumer, I'll be back.

Made a quick run to the Gainesville Dollar Tree (wearing a face mask of course) for some organizing bins. This store has LOTS of bins and containers for organizing! I was not disappointed. Upon check out I was pleased that the cashier was wearing a face mask also, which is much appreciated!

Store closing hours was 8pm. My mom and I walked in at about 7:15 pm, we were told at around 7:30 that the store was closing. The workers were screaming and saying “YEAH IM CLOSING THIS STORE UPPP” like some kind of celebration and had no curiosity of the customers in the building. A lady came up to us basically yelling saying “the store is closed!! ladies you have to get out now!” and I began to say “your closing hours are at 8pm” and she yelled back “WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CLOSE WHEN WE WANT TO” and then began to start calling me an “immature brat”. This was absolutely the worst experience I have had. She was also picking up items off the shelves as if she was just keeping them to take home with her....

Nice big store, but today this store was overcrowded, only 2 registers open, lack of social distancing. I felt sorry for all of us including the men having to work the register. Management needs to address amount of personnel for weekends.

This store should be condemned/shut down. There is trash and dirt everywhere, shelves are unorganized and merchandise is piled in aisles and falling off shelves.
