My 3rd time using delivery and not ever again. Order never right, substitute when marked not to, and now today failed to give driver my real reason to use, getting my cases of water. No apologies no nothing when I called , better service from other stores so thats where I will give my business to. Thank you for nothing BJ’s.

Store meets standards as expected of a BJs wholesale club. However, the meat department is severely sub standard when it comes to a wholesale club. They have the absolute bare bones selection of cuts here, whenever I go here I see the customers looking at the meat section very intensively, as if trying to find something. I also see numerous customers walk away empty handed, because they clearly couldn't find what they wanted. This stores manager needs to conduct a review of their selection of meat to better serve their customers.

It is quite unfortunate that this rating does not allow for a zero because that is rating this establishment so deserves. They do not have adequate staff and thus have issues with assisting their members. The few staff that were helpful seemed to have vanished without a trace. The club manager is utterly delightful in the sense that he cannot and does not seem to be able to function without passing members around like they are some sort of dodge ball. I cannot stress enough that this place needs some serious sort of aid from somewhere. Do not get me started on the assistant club manager either. He does not seem to respect personal space nor a sense of smell considering the copious amounts of cologne that he seems to enjoy dousing himself in. The amount of times I walk in and have someone always asking me if I would perhaps be interested in applying for their so called beneficial credit card churns the insides of my stomach. How do these individuals sleep at night knowing that they have disturbed the peace of a member who would just like to shop without the annoyance of a piece of plastic being shoved into their very being when they would just like to shop and go home. I assume that their corporate does not care about their members or else they would not ask you any time you get something done to your membership.

I have never been able to use my account since I opened it. I always stay at the cash register. Employees who did not know their job could not solve the problem. However, they also made me a member. I am sick and tired of this location and its employees. They are rude and just make things complicated. I can never find their manager. Not only do they not fix things, they also blame me. How many times will I pay membership fees? I guess I don't want to get scammed and I won't be coming back here again.

Very Poor Service!Today, The BJ's certified employee with red hair, beard and a red hat, did not say hello, did not say goodbye, simply smirked and walked away each time. Attempting to resolve a SKU number issue.Clearly customer service is not his strong suit. If he's going to the customer facing, serving the public he should learn and demonstrate the basics customer service fundamentals!

This is a American cruzine restaurant, it is located in Gainesville va, in gateway plaza. We enjoyed our Father's day dinner here, they also gave away father's day glasses with 20% off coupons for next time. They were out of fathers day special prime rib meal, but manager was nice enough to include dessert in our alternate meal we purchased. Waiters was nice and very attractive. Will go back again.

I couldn’t be more disgusted with BJ’s Wholesale in Gainesville, VA. The employees are rude and the environment is toxic! Kyle, the front end manager is one of the most unprofessional, rude, arrogant, self-righteous team members I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Do better BJs. Hire respectful, professional staff members. Stop dredging the bottom of the employee barrel.

Decent customer service. But stop by early or late to avoid crowds. They have a really huge selection of pretty much anything you could ever possibly want or desire.

Had a great experience today as it is a Monday, it was not busy. The customer service great since I walked in, the store was clean and what I really like about the company is that you are able to check the deals on the app and are able to save money. Also the coupons are easy to use once you check out, they will already appear digitally.

So-so... The customer service is a hit or miss. They forgot to give me half my order and later wouldn't do anything other than make me go through every single item they forgot and reimburse me for that specific item. It took me calling customer service several times. I missed out on several promotions and wasted 40 minutes of my life dealing with it. The manager wasn't willing to offer me anything to make up for what I had to go through. Their delivery and pickup is altogether not so great as they have cancelled a lot of items before without offering any sort of replacement, which is what is usually done. Their produce isn't always fresh either, other stores are better. What I do like is their bakery department 7 custom cakes and that they're usually well stocked on essentials.

We ordered cupcakes for graduation a week in advance. They were out of the flavor we ordered and no one called to let us know it wasn’t available. They person in the bakery scrambled to make another flavor when we arrived, but it would have been nice to be able to seek other options with appropriate notice. Poor customer service.

I purchased a laptop in 2021. They say take a pic of the receipt to have for insurance. Well I go to access the receipt for insurance because the hp laptop always goes blank at odd times. But, this time there’s a scratch internally. I go to access the receipt and they’re asking me for a store number; but, there’s no store number code on the receipt anywhere. Could someone help me on here? I did try calling the corporate store and they gave me the wrong store number

I ordered online and the whole process was terrible. I ordered early in the morning and I expected the food to come in between 2-4pm. When my order was shipped, this DoorDasher texted me saying if I still want my food and if the place was really 25 minutes away. He complained about how he/she has to go 13 miles and that he didn't get paid enough for gas as well as that I should’ve paid him/her tip. I called BJ’S customer service and I was on a call for an hour. The guy was really nice and helpful although I haven’t heard from them yet. I have been waiting for my food for 3 hours but to no avail. There’s dairy, meet, and produce that’s going to spoil with the heat. The doordasher later texted me saying to just cancel the order since it will make this easier for me or you can just wait all day. That’s up to you. I shouldn’t be dealing with this. I just wanted my food and done. I didn’t want to have to deal with this since I’m so busy and I have 4 kids. I literally have no water and I’m not losing my $400. Worst service ever. First time ordering and it will be my last.

So going to this location self check out. Kept pausing saying item in check out that hasn't been scanned. Finally passed all the items through scan, then next issue calling someone to help. Stood there for 4 items that can be purchased at Walmart. So waiting for help watch one employee hugging family member on duty, 2 employees helping customers, and 3 standing at customer service talking. Obviously not interested in making a sale or paid membership.

Not as big a store so not as much selection as Fairfax, but they do have things that I like. People are friendly and helpful and the store is clean. Milk prices are the best, gas prices are good, they have rotisserie turkey breasts and chickens (really good) and a good deli. The bakery is not as big as Costco, but they do have a nice selection and are my go-to spot for church coffee hour supplies. Vegetables are in reasonable sizes and have been good quality. Ready to eat meal selections are also good.

Update: what genius decided to make ALL of the self checkout lanes 20 items or less AND the app as well AND only have one register that will accept you for larger orders???? This new change makes it more likely I'll make the trek to Sam's or Costco. Also, please, in the name of all that is holy, STOP THE THIRD PARTY SELLERS!!!!! There's nothing more frustrating than being chased around the store by people trying to sell you gutter cleaning, at&t plans, air conditioning services, etc. I actually got stopped no less than 5 times last time I was in (twice by the same guy). Pro tip: cut them off and tell them you rent and/or are Amish and don't believe in telephones.Well-maintained store. Employees are usually best left alone as they tend not to know too much. Jewelry counter is gone and they don't sell clothes, so this is one of the smaller BJ's. Electronics tend to be outdated as well.

They have changed their coupon policy and now don't accept the additional coupons. They are always out of sale items and say they don't carry it instead of bringing down a new pallet of it. Costco is like 10 minutes away and way more worth it.

Has everything we need. Plenty of self checkouts. Terrific deli. Fresh food area has good variety and the produce has a longer shelf life than Costco. Fish is fresher than Costco. Takes competitor's coupons. Friendly staff.

Overall BJ's has good prices on popular grocery products, and they even accept coupons for extra money savings. They feature Duncan Donuts-very convenient! I did try their propane refill service, but was unable to get a refill because my tank wad old. They cannot service tanks that are a few years old (I believe its 6 years). Depending on the amount of shopping you do, the cost of membership pays for itself on the money you spend at other stores.

Love the convenience and quality of the products at this location. Cell phone Sales associates aren't pushy, and the deli and cake department are always on top of things and extremely helpful! The cashier attendants are really welcoming and sincere as well, which is something you don't normally come by.

Quick service. Plenty of self serve checkout lanes & cashiers available. No hassle returns. Deli service is excellent. Gas station very convenient Wish they would do away with coupons like Costco.

Absolutely horrible experience at the deli counter. This happens over and over again and it never seems to get either fixed or taken care of. Whenever I’m unfortunate enough to visit or someone else I know is there, they always see people just leave the line after 10/15 and even 20 minutes or more of waiting. I wish Costco was open a bit later and served deli as well. May as well go next door to actually receive service.

The selection is not as good as Costco BUT it is very convenient and fast in/out. The deli is very good and customer service is good. 90% of the time I shop there instead of Costco even though Costco is a few miles closer. I also like the food selection over Costco. Electronics is a wash as both have good selection.

Capital One took over their credit card program, and the transfer was poorly managed. I did not receive notices from Capital One or BJs until I was late on a very small payment, now I’ve been closed out.

To put it in simplest terms, BJ’s wholesale club is “lackluster”. I will say up front, this store deserves credit for being clean and having a friendly staff. Nonetheless, there are many things about this store that make it more of a “wholesale club lite” than a major one like Costco. My biggest complaint is the coupon methodology. As a former Sam’s Club user, I don’t ever recall needing to bring coupons. With BJ’s, about every other week, they send you a book of coupons in the mail. Before you go to the store, you then have to look through this book and separate out the coupons for the products you’re going to purchase; a huge hassle to get discounts on products that should be competitively priced automatically, considering you’re paying for a membership. Aside from coupons, I feel that BJ’s selection of products is significantly weaker than that of other wholesale clubs. Very often I find myself going to this club and coming home with several items not crossed off my shopping list. This isn’t even because a product is out of stock (although that happens occasionally); it’s just simply because they don’t carry it. And this applies to BJ’s in general. This particular location of BJ’s is even worse because it’s one of their smaller locations, so their selection of products is smaller too (i.e. they don’t offer clothes, tires, or even Aquafina® here).Overall, BJ’s really only satisfies basic needs, and if you are one who thrives off of wholesale, BJ’s won’t make the cut. That being said, I feel that it should only be used as a backup if you are trying to avoid the crowds of the Manassas Costco and don’t want to make the trip to Dulles for Sam’s.(Update: this location now offers clothes, but it's mostly women's clothes and they discontinued the sale of DVDs to do so, so it's basically just substituting one unavailability for another.)

As a long time Costco member, I was first hesitant to join BJ's, but its proximity to my home was too hard to resist. This place is great! They are very competitively priced, like Costco, but they also offer excellent sliced deli and propane exchange, not offered at Costco. The gas station is alway the cheapest around, and if you get their MC, which rewards a whopping 5% at your store purchase, you get another $0.10 off the gas as well. I am still a Costco member, but I definitely shop at BJ's a lot more. I strongly recommend this place.

I wish they sold clothing a this one but everything else I need is there for the bigger items I like to purchase in bulk . The store is clean and they always have coupons on some of there items when you walk in which is very helpful. I also did not know that when you use coupons if you have double the item you can use it twice which is lovely for budgeting people .

It can be a pita not having more stuff to complete a shopping list but enough variety that can keep your pantry essentials in stock. The deli has good quality meat for a reasonable price. Employees always pleasant. I think the milk is usually always cheaper at bjs than even walmart.
