I visited the store to pick out an arrangement of aromatic flowers and shrubs for my lawn. Everyone here was so nice and helpful! They answered my questions and help me find things, special shout out to the boys, including Logan and Tammy and Suzanne. I will definitely be back! The gentleman even helped me out to my car with the shrubs, thanks so much for making it a great experience !!

Clean, organized, well stocked and good prices. Can be difficult to get help. If you need advice or are custom ordering highly advise weekdays during business hours. It's unlikely you will be able to get a person to help you 1:1 on a weekend.

Let me start with the positives. First, Lowes had the best price on lumber I could find. Secondly, part of my order was wrapped well and protected from the weather. After that the customer service was horrible. When I ordered online the delivery date quoted was over 2 weeks long although the Pro desk said it likely will be sooner. During that wait time, the store has no way of tracking the order or a way to let me know if it would arrive early. On the expected delivery date, I was contacted by the independent delivery company and was given a hard luck story about how much work he had to do and could ask if to pick another day. I then rescheduled for the following week. On the agreed upon date, the driver showed up an hour later than the delivery window that was quoted. He only had half of of my order and didn't know when the rest would be delivered because he said it was too long for their delivery trucks. I then started calling the store and always got the same answer, that it is a 3rd party delivery company and they had no control of when they would deliver the long material. I made at least a dozen phone calls to the store, the person in charge of deliveries and their regional office. Each time I got the same answer "Someone will call me back". No one ever called back. After waiting nearly another week I got a trailer and went to the store. I found my material behind the store with tire tracks on it where they driven forklifts over it and the ends damaged from forks running into it. By now my project was so far behind that I had to accept the damaged goods to keep things moving. It then took them 45 minutes to bring a forklift around to load my order.I can't believe contractors could use them and keep any type of schedule. While I was waiting for this delivery I called 84 lumber which is less than 1/4 mile from Lowes. They had all the items I needed in stock and said they could do next day delivery. Their prices were about 10% higher but I now know that it's not worth the minor cost savings to deal with Lowes. Lowe's might be a good choice for small in-stock items, but they are totally incompetent when dealing with contractors or builders.

I gave 4 stars, but only because of past experiences. Today there weren't any big carts anywhere in the store. Normally I wouldn't have cared, but I saw many employees standing around doing nothing. I wasn't going out to the parking lot to get a cart - not my job! I used to work for the Winchester Lowes years ago and we would never have not had a big cart in the store. MAYBE if we were slammed, but even then, that was rare. We weren't allowed to not have the carts in the store. It's sad to see the way customer service is going. I went to ACE Hardware in Stephens City and got my salt, and they helped me load it.

Did a curbside pick up of soil and mulch. It was a big order. 2 employees had to load it for me. They were so nice and helpful. I wish I would have gotten their names so they could be recognized

Great selection of hardware and home goods but it has become quite clear that the monopoly that Lowe's and Home Depot has created is costing us working class citizens a lot more money.Prices on simple items are rediculois.Driving out almost all hardware stores throughout the US means that they can now charge what ever they want. Capitalism and corporate greed are serious issues for us middle class folks. Wal-Mart and the big four food industries are gouging us as well.

I walked in today prepared to buy a washer and dryer. I went back to appliances. Tried looking around for help. Found two employees talking. My husband stood directly beside them waiting for them to finish talking so he could ask for someone to help with washer and dryer. They looked at him and continued to and walked away! Worst customer service anywhere. We couldn’t find anyone to help us. But the worst was the employees who ignored us and walked away. So Lowe’s didn’t need our money. Seems to be a trend for Lowe’s bc we left there and went to the next Lowe’s and couldn’t get help. I even called the store to get help. We had to move one of the washers and 3 employees showed up out of nowhere but I couldn’t get help on the phone! Do better Lowe’s! I spent my money at Home Depot but I really wanted to purchase from you. I tried

Since August 2023, I've been attempting to order replacement doors for my home and office from Lowe's, but they're struggling to get organized. I paid for a representative to measure, but he quit, taking the measurements with him. I don't understand why they couldn't send someone else. This lack of organization has cost Lowe's over $30,000 in sales, and it's disappointing!Update: Months later and still no interaction from the Lowes in Front Royal, VA.

My wife and I went to the Front Royal Lowes to purchase closet selves. After picking out the selves we wanted to purchase, we headed to the checkout. Upon checking out the selves, they rang up a different price. 20 dollars more than what was displayed. My wife questions the price with a nice lady who scans the product that came up. " No location found." So my wife walks back to the area we found the selves with the nice lady and found the guy that works in that department. That's when the gentleman didn't get his name, but he was in a wheelchair and started to accuse my wife of moving 5 selving units(we purchased 2)to the wrong place to get a better price. Remember, the lady scanned them, and no location was found. Then he proceeded to be nasty to my wife and stating she was just trying to be difficult. And continue with he rudness and actuations. In the end, we did get the price as marked but at the cost of my wife being belittled in the process.

Not as good selection as other Lowe's stores, only go if time is a concern. Much ,much better selection and service at Woodstock Lowe's and better than Winchester store which is usually busy.

I like Lowes for the options. I do not like only self-service registers. I like Lowes, but I have a few times had to go to the Local Tru value (Ramsey harware) for items that should be stocked but are not. I would rather support little mom and pop shops.

They got rid of the regular check outs and replaced them with self check, which I consider a huge plus. I am a massive fan of self check outs.What I'm not fan of is using the self checks and having multiple employees hound me about the credit card, or even talking to me at all. I don't want the lowes card, and when I say no once, I shouldn't have to repeat myself.I use self check so I don't have to talk to employees. Leave me alone.

Aggravating visit . . . Can't find anyone and when found they're helping another customer. I used information about which aisle I needed to go to for items I wanted to buy, but nope. Walked and walked, then just left and ordered online - which meant paying for shipping. Ridiculous! Perhaps I should have given just one star but I think 3 stars is fair.

This Lowe's in Front Royal Virginia is a great example of what this chain of Home Improvement stores should be. They always have a great selection of plants and landscaping hardware. I renovated an old house a few years ago, and a lot of the structural parts came from this location. The staff is very friendly and happy to help and answer any questions. This Lowe's store and the surrounding area is pretty LGBTQ friendly.

I’ve been to this Lowe’s several times, and sometimes it’s hard to find employees in certain sections to ask for help. Normally I use the Internet and it will tell you what isle and section an item is supposed to be on, but I’d say probably about 25% of the time it is wrong.Also, the other morning I was there and there was probably seven people training their large dogs around the store (it doesn’t look like they’re buying anything, just feeding them treats when they pass by people and don’t react). I know Lowe’s allows dogs of all types, but when you have a family with small children, and people are training these dogs in that environment, it just seems risky. Obviously if it was a service dog already trained that’s totally fine. Anyway it’s just a deterrent for someone who’s there to actually buy things.

Every once and while you get a lowes employee that is very helpful. I couldn't find what I needed on the shelf but there were some in the store according to the app. Marshall who probably doesn't even work in that department was very helpful in finding what I needed and getting it from top stock. He seemed genuinely happy to help and I appreciate that.

Nice, clean store. I gave 4 stars Bc I bought a lawn mower from here and they tried to say I put "old gas" in it. Which is why it worked one time and never again. Where does one even get old gas?

We would like to thank our two favorite ladies in the paint department, Debra and Flor, for helping us with our project!These two ladies are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind! This is why we only shop in this location, especially for painting projects.Debra helped me with a paint color, by understanding what I was looking for, calculating percentages to create a white color, with a hint of blue and it is the perfect color! Flor told us how to remove wallpaper, by making a mixture of equal parts fabric softener and warm water, in a spray bottle and using a sponge. Spray the area with the mixture and wipe it off with the sponge. It worked perfectly!Thank you ladies for a job well done!! Your assistance was greatly appreciated!

I’d give it 0 stars if I could. We ordered a fire pit and additional blocks through an online order. Got the email that said it was ready for pickup. Went to Lowe’s- waited for over an hour…..the didn’t have the order ready. Had to get a fork lift and additional workers to get it- again, waiting over an hour for this help. Shouldn’t have sent an email saying my order was ready if IT WASN’T READY. This is not the first time I’ve had this problem with the Front Royal Lowes and online orders . Tried to talk to a manager, but there were 7 people in front of me and wasn’t wasting another minute waiting in that store. Absolutely terrible customer service.

I recently came to the Front Royal, VA Lowes. It was late and pretty close to closing time but given my schedule, I find it hard to get into the store during the middle of the day. I was there to purchase a large toolbox for my truck, and asked an employee to check the inventory via item number. That's when I met Shelly in customer service, and she was incredible. I had a strong feeling of guilt given the time and the toolbox was practically attached to ceiling and the very top row. Shelly assured me that it was no trouble at all and proceeded to pull the product for me. This was unexpected, I would have easily expected an employee to push me a day out, being that it was closing tim yet, Shelly insisted that she was there to help. Incredibly helpful, sweet, and professional. 5/5 will be back. Thank you Shelly!

This review is for the customer service desk. I have been a loyal Lowes customer but the service today via the telephone was just so poor. I kept trying to reach a specific department but when I could not reach someone, I was automatically transferred back to the customer service desk. Not only did it sound like the person was chewing gum in my ear, the third time I was transferred, I specifically heard them pick up the phone and hang up. So unprofessional! I finally called a different department, and that person was extremely helpful and tracked down the answer I needed. That person will by why I continue to shop at Lowes. That said, they really need to fix the issues with the main customer service so they don't lose customers.

The first stop was a 5. John was so helpful and professional. A few days later I found out I paid for, but did somehow pick up the bag from self checkout. Too much in getting my wallet back in my purse, coupled with daily rushing. Thinking it was just left in the car....I called customer service, but that experience was not good. I was spoken to as if I stole the bulbs l, value $7.35.....I returned today still in need and was professional checked out.I don't usually buy more than plants, I think I should let my husband buy everything else as usual.RaeCarol Flynn
