We stopped here during our aqua blaze section of the Appalachian Trail. It was a 15 minute walk from the river but well worth it! Friendly staff, great beer and wine selection, and delicious food! We ordered pizza and a pulled pork sandwich and ate on the awesome oversized porch. Some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had!

Awesome friendly service. Great selection. Best of all, fantastic onion rings- crispy on the outside, hot and not at all greasy. Ruben was delicious. Will be back. Would have gotten a before pic, but it smelled too good!

Great food and nice people!!Best burger on the mountain ⛰!!Thick,juicy, 3/4 pd, with fresh lettuce tomatoes 🍅 and 🌰onion.!!!Love it!Love it!Love it!!Also they got fresh cakes cooked. Sweets. Its hard to please me with an excellent BBQ but this one is at the top of my list. Smoked on premises! Tender and flavorful! Will stop again when I'm up that way! Small indoor eating area with 3 tables that total 10 people. They also serve breakfast and I'm anxious to try their classic egg salad that I overheard people talking about. Other lunch items served as well. Drink fountains available. 1 restroom. Everyone was nice and I enjoyed talking with them. Will def return!

Great food, and very nice employees. You can sit inside or out. This my favorite place to stop for food when near the rt 50 and the Shenandoah river. I have been going here off and on for about 40 years.

We moved to the area one year ago and from the moment we walked in to get familiar with everything to the daily experience now we feel like family. The décor is homey and very country; i love the small town feel! The people are so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoy the food there very much! The hot and ready breakfast sandwiches in the morning are as if I called ahead! Dinner is wonderful treat with their dinner specials during the week :) We love Jim's Country Store and how wonderfully convenient it is when we run out of milk :)

I know convenience stores are more costly than big chain stores but there prices are off the roof.They will not accept a credit card if purchase is less then 5$This is the most inconvenient convenience store I have seen

Great little place, close to us when I don't want to drive to town. Grab some little thing I may need. They can cook too. I love the breakfasts' and the sweets. People are very kind as well.

Was here one morning on a motorcycle ride. The breakfast was served up hot and quick. Pretty impressive given I was in a group of 10 other riders stopping at the same time.

It is a pleasure to stop there. The staff are always so friendly and helpful it really makes a tiring trip less tiring. So we like to stop there its midpoint for us to our destination. Plus the prices are not bad for a small store like that

awful. the owner has no regard for the wellbeing of his employees and will guilt trip them if they call saying theyre vomiting, asking them to still come in AND COOK. not to mention everything is overpriced. avoid this store at literally all costs

This is a nice country store offering the basics of a convenience store. They also have a deli and a breakfast lunch and dinner menu with specials each day.

The prices are very fair. The staff is knowledgeable and considerate and the food is great. First country store that I know of with a menu, that you can actually call up and place your order ahead of time.
