I like the idea of the store, but I am a brand kind of person because of trades. I like tools a lot, I like the vast amount and diverse selection that Harbor Freight offers. I like the quality of the tools and the lifetime warranty they offer, I have never returned anything yet. I do think some of the tools are the same price as some name brands. I purchased a 1/4 ratchet and a few extensions* for a breakdown that was close to the store versus going home. It cost around $25. The baby ratchet was $10, and the extensions cost $15. The extensions had a sale sign, but I am not a member of the paid club. I feel like, at times, it's a bait and switch because of the signage. I rated it a four because of pricing and sale signage that you have joined.

I checked online for a specific item and the website said they have that item in store. When I got to the location, they didnt have the item set out on the shelf and when we asked an employee about it he just looked at the picture and said no. I went to the Winchester location and the employee came up to us and asked if we needed help. He went out of his way to check the back for the thing we were looking for. The employees at this location are very rude and lazy. Drive the extra 6 miles and go to Winchester.

Nice clean store , customer service is very good. Some good deals and to be fair some things are I think overpriced. But they do guarantee most if not all tools I've never had to exchange yet but my son did with great ease.

Hello, I had to run into Harbor Freight yesterday afternoon for some adhesive. I was a bit blown away by how cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable the cashier was. You just don’t get that type of service these days. Excellent customer service, I will definitely return and recommend this location.

I love walking the aisles of this store, and you can ways find something you need or always something to bring home. They are getting better with their merchandise. Love the store!!

The product is good quality and is a great price. Every thing I have bought through the years has lasted. The staff is always friendly and if you're waiting they don't hesitate to open a register to get you taken care of

This is one of the best harbor freights. The traffic is low People are super friendly. I could browse this store for a couple hours. They always have the best deals.

This is the nicest HF I've been too. The customer service was great. I had 4 different employees help me with my transaction.. I had a pretty big purchase at a different location the day before. When I got home and started to unbox it, it was badly damaged.. Upon loading it back into my truck, with the packaging, I noticed on top of the box it said "DO NOT SELL." This was a Huge inconvenience for the size of the purchase and the distance between my house and the store, which is 50+ miles. The store that I originally bought it from said the where out of stock and I could exchange it at a different location. Upon my first attempt to exchange it at the second location that said, they indeed had them in stock, they said I couldn't at "Their Store." After going back to the original place of purchase and dealing with a cashier who was being short and rude, I figured I would try Front Royal. They made it right after 2 stores couldn't, and 1 of which, down right refused too. I don't do reviews, but the customer service was awesome, and refreshing after my dabacle in which was no fault of my own! HF Front Royal will be my "Go Too" from here on out!

Very nice store with a much better selection than any other HF I've been to in this area. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would drive out of my way again to go to this location.

Harbor Freight in general is a wonderful place with wonderful selection but this specific one is better than most as I've always had good service and have never had any issues, definitely come here if you are in the market for some tools and not looking to spend a lot of money but be warned this place will make you not want to buy name brand tools again.

I drove 1 hour looking for a car scanner ,when I got there they couldn't find it . They leave the tags on the rack letting you think they have many of them, when you come to the cashier to pay ,the excuse was , I just sold it an hour ago.. They just need to remove those tags from the rack if they don't have them.

CHECK FOR DEFECTS...Stopped by to purchase a gun case that was on sale. Noticed a broken hinge at the counter and decided to pass on it. I told a friend who was going to pick up one of the same cases later that day.Low and behold, the defective/broken gun case back was placed back on the shelf for someone else to purchase vice discarding or returning to the manufacturer.In my opinion, this is a display of how this store holds their customers in low regard.Hope this post helps others avoid buying broken items.

This place is new to me but i fell in love...need a tool? They got it and at great prices too....i found me a staple gun with 3 different types of staples and a case for only 9 bucks

Employees are very confused about returns. I get a hard time every time I have a return at the FrontRoyal store. Now they want receipts for broken sockets. I probably won't go back to this store.

Love Harbor Freight, sure not everything is the best quality but a lot of their stuff is really good if not better in some cases than some of the overpriced stuff youd get at the hardware/tool store...anyways so happy we have our own now!
