Great store , polite workers, and lots of great supplies .5 star for the store , 1 star for these Hallmark pellets.I usually get my pallet of Turman hardwood pellets from them .They were sold out, so I tried a few bags of the Hallmark brand .Buyer beware ...I started fresh in my hopper, and they clogged my auger . Now I have to disassemble my stove to clear the auger shaft .The pieces are way too long, so they clog things up . See pic compared to Turman .They may work in gravity feed or others, but next year, I will get the Turmans for sure .

I bought propane and Apple Wafers for our goats and mini horses, I purchased the 20 # bag it cost $34.99. I usually purchase from Rural King or Tractor Supply, and the same bag is $18.94. I stopped buying feed and shop here less because of the cost of feed being so much higher. I only shop there when it is for convenience needs. I can not afford everyday needs from them.

I stopped because I saw a sign for a bird feeder sale. We're full-time RVers, so I was very happy to find clear plastic bird feeders that we can attach to our RV's windows when we're set up at a campground for our cat's entertainment. They also have quite a variety of bird seed. Now that the sun has come up the next day, the birds are delighted and so are our Camp Cats. Thank you!The staff was very nice and made sure to apply the 25% discount.

Where I always purchase my Missouri Fox Trotter's grain. Great service. They load the 50 lb bags of grain in the trunk for you.

Went in for a few things for the farm... was looking for some pasture grass and the young lady in the warehouse took me back and showed me what they had. Also quickly grabbed some sod staples and rang me up for some fence boards. They helped me sort thru the fence boards to get a dozen good ones.. Excellent customer service and very friendly. Thank you.

I have always loved SS... but... sometimes they are not close. I was in good ol FR and.. stopped here... where SS used to be. Same as SS. Outstanding customer service and products and prices... I am googling is there one closer to me!!! I got the best animal food and sweets there!!!!! Loved it!

The staff here are always helpful and very knowledgeable. On several occasions when I needed to change feeds/supplements for an ulcer prone horse, they worked with me until we had an affordable solution. They were ready and willing to answer all my questions and stay with me till I'd made my decision.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.I'm planting my first feed plot and Allen (store manager) has been incredibly helpful and responsive and is very knowledgeable and approachable. He's taken a lot of time to help me price out multiple options. He's voluntarily helped me keep costs low instead of trying to up-sell me to more expensive products like most merchants.On price, Southern States almost always beats amazon or other online realtors, and they also top them on quality of product and blow them out of the water on service. Will absolutely be going to Allen for anything they sell.

We love Southern States of Front Royal. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products, farm animals, and are always willing to find out any information to help if they don't know the answer. Siobhan, Julie, and Rachel are wonderful.We have goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, cats, and dogs and Southern States of Front Royal has nearly every product or food for all of them. We're especially glad to see Merricks grain-free small breed dog food and Zenfood grain-free and poultry-free Salmon dog food available here. Southern States of Front Royal is truly a one stop shop for livestock or pet needs.

Great ! Needed an extra propane bottle for RV. Much cheaper for the bottle and to refill a cylinder. Gas station bottles are one 15 pounds and Southern States has the 20 pounders and at a cheaper price. Good luck. YRMV. Bill
